< 1 Cronicas 15 >
1 Nangipatakder ni David kadagiti balbalay para kenkuana iti siudadna. Nangisagana isuna iti maysa a disso a para iti lakasa ti Dios ken nangbangon iti tolda para iti daytoy.
David constructed buildings for himself in the City of David, and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.
2 Kalpasanna, kinuna ni David, “Dagiti laeng Levita ti mabalin a mangawit iti lakasa ti Dios, ta isuda ti pinili ni Yahweh a mangawit iti daytoy, ken tapno agserbida kenkuana iti agnanayon.”
Then David said, “No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the LORD has chosen them to carry the ark of the LORD and to minister before Him forever.”
3 Ket inummong ni David ti entero nga Israel idiay Jerusalem, tapno isang-atda ti lakasa ni Yahweh iti disso nga insaganana para iti daytoy.
And David assembled all Israel in Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the LORD to the place he had prepared for it.
4 Inummong ni David dagiti kaputotan ni Aaron ken dagiti Levita.
Then he gathered together the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:
5 Manipud kadagiti kaputotan ni Coat, adda ni Uriel a mangidadaulo ken dagiti kakabaggianna, sangagasut ket duapuloda a lallaki.
From the Kohathites, Uriel the chief and 120 of his relatives;
6 Manipud kadagiti kaputotan ni Merari, adda met ni Asias a mangidadaulo ken dagiti kakabaggianna, dua gasut ket duapuloda a lallaki.
from the Merarites, Asaiah the chief and 220 of his relatives;
7 Manipud kadagiti kaputotan ni Gersom, adda ni Joel a mangidadaulo ken dagiti kakabaggianna, sangagasut ket tallopuloda a lallaki.
from the Gershomites, Joel the chief and 130 of his relatives;
8 Manipud kadagiti kaputotan ni Elizafan, adda ni Semaias a mangidadaulo ken dagiti kakabaggianna, dua gasutda a lallaki.
from the Elizaphanites, Shemaiah the chief and 200 of his relatives;
9 Manipud kadagiti kaputotan ni Hebron, adda ni Eliel a mangidadaulo ken dagiti kakabaggianna, walo puloda a lallaki.
from the Hebronites, Eliel the chief and 80 of his relatives;
10 Manipud kadagiti kaputotan ni Uziel, adda ni Aminadab a mangidadaulo ken dagiti kakabaggianna, sangagasut ken sangapulo ket duada a lallaki.
and from the Uzzielites, Amminadab the chief and 112 of his relatives.
11 Inayaban ni David da Zadok ken Abiatar a padi, ken dagiti Levita a da Uriel, Asaias, Joel, Semaias, Eliel, ken Aminadab.
David summoned the priests Zadok and Abiathar and the Levites Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab.
12 Kinunana kadakuada, “Dakayo dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti pamilia dagiti Levita. Idatonyo dagiti bagbagiyo kenni Yahweh, dakayo ken dagiti kakabsatyo, tapno maisang-atyo ti lakasa ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel, iti disso nga insaganak para iti daytoy.
And he said to them, “You are the heads of the Levitical families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves so that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.
13 Saanyo nga inawit daytoy idi un-unana. Isu a nakapungtot kadatayo ni Yahweh a Diostayo, ta saantayo a biniruk isuna wenno saantayo a nagtulnog iti bilinna.”
It was because you Levites were not with us the first time that the LORD our God burst forth in anger against us. For we did not consult Him about the proper order.”
14 Isu nga indaton dagiti papadi ken dagiti Levita dagiti bagbagida tapno maisang-atda ti lakasa ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel.
So the priests and Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.
15 Isu nga inawit dagiti Levita ti lakasa ti Dios babaen kadagiti assiw, kas imbilin ni Moises- a sinurotda dagiti pagalagadan a naited babaen iti sao ni Yahweh.
And the Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulders with the poles, as Moses had commanded in accordance with the word of the LORD.
16 Nakitungtong ni David kadagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti Levita tapno mangdutokda kadagiti kakabsatda nga agbalin a musiko a mangtukar kadagiti instrumento a pagtukar, kadagiti nakuerdasan nga instrumento, kadagiti arpa ken kadagiti piangpiang, ket pagtukarenda iti napigsa ken siraragsakda nga agkanta.
David also told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their relatives as singers to lift up their voices with joy, accompanied by musical instruments—harps, lyres, and cymbals.
17 Isu a dinutokan dagiti Levita da Heman a putot a lalaki ni Joel ken maysa kadagiti kakabsatna a lallaki, ni Asaf a putot a lalaki ni Berekias. Nangdutokda met kadagiti kakabaggian a nagtaud iti kaputotan ni Merari ken ni Etan a putot a lalaki ni Kusayas.
So the Levites appointed Heman son of Joel; from his brothers, Asaph son of Berechiah; from their brothers the Merarites, Ethan son of Kushaiah;
18 Kadduada dagiti kakabaggianda nga adda iti maikaddua a rangko nga isuda: Zecarias, Jaaziel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaias, Maaseias, Mattitias, Elifelelu, Mikneias, Obed Edom, ken ni Jeliel a parabantay iti ruangan.
and with them their brothers next in rank: Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, and the gatekeepers Obed-edom and Jeiel.
19 Dagiti musiko a da Heman, Asaf ken Etan ket nadutokanda a mangtokar iti napigsa kadagiti bronse a piangpiang.
The musicians Heman, Asaph, and Ethan were to sound the bronze cymbals.
20 Da Zecarias, Aziel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseias, ken ni Benias, ti mangtokar kadagiti nakuerdasan nga instrumento ket naisaadda iti Alamot.
Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah were to play the harps according to Alamoth.
21 Da Mattitias, Elifelehu, Mikneias, Obed Edom, Jeliel, ken ni Azazias ti nangidaulo iti wagas ti panagtokar kadagiti arpa ket naisaadda iti Seminit.
And Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah were to lead the music with lyres according to Sheminith.
22 Ni Kenanias a mangidadaulo kadagiti Levita iti panagkanta ti nangidalan iti panagkanta gapu ta nalaing isuna iti daytoy.
Chenaniah the head Levite was the director of the music because he was highly skilled.
23 Da Berekias ken Elkana ti mangbantay iti lakasa.
Berechiah and Elkanah were to be guardians of the ark.
24 Da Sebanias, Josafat, Netanel, Amasai, Zecarias, Benaias ken Eliezer a papadi ti mangpuyot kadagiti tangguyob iti sangoanan ti lakasa ti Dios. Da Obed Edom ken Jehias ti mangbantay iti lakasa.
Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer—the priests—were to blow the trumpets before the ark of God. Obed-edom and Jehiah were also to be guardians of the ark.
25 Isu nga agragrag-o nga insang-at ni David, dagiti panglakayen ti Israel ken dagiti panguloen dagiti rinibribu ti lakasa ti tulag ni Yahweh manipud iti balay ni Obed Edom.
So David, the elders of Israel, and the commanders of thousands went with rejoicing to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-edom.
26 Bayat a tinulongan ti Dios dagiti Levita a nangawit iti lakasa ti tulag ni Yahweh, nagidatonda iti pito a toro a baka ken pito a kalakian a karnero.
And because God helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.
27 Nakakawes ni David iti pagan-anay a naaramid iti kasayaatan a lino, kasta met dagiti Levita a nakaawit iti lakasa, dagiti kumakanta, ken ni Kenanias a mangidadaulo iti kanta a kadduana dagiti kumakanta. Nakasuot ni David iti lino nga efod.
Now David was dressed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, as well as the singers and Chenaniah, the director of music for the singers. David also wore a linen ephod.
28 Isu nga insang-at dagiti amin nga Israelita ti lakasa ti tulag ni Yahweh kabayatan nga agpukpukkawda a siraragsak, ken kadagiti uni dagiti tangguyob, dagiti piangpiang, ken dagiti nakuerdasan nga instrumento ken dagiti arpa.
So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, with the sounding of rams’ horns and trumpets, and with cymbals and the music of harps and lyres.
29 Ngem bayat iti pannakaisangpet ti lakasa ti tulag iti siudad ni David, timman-aw iti tawa ni Mical nga anak ni Saul. Nakitana nga agsalsala ni Ari David ken agramrambak. Isu nga linaisna isuna iti pusona.
As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the City of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from a window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.
