1 Mgbe ahụ, o gosiri m Joshua onyeisi nchụaja ka ọ na-eguzo nʼihu mmụọ ozi nke Onyenwe anyị, na ekwensu ka ọ na-eguzo nʼaka nri ya ibo ya ebubo.
And the Lord revealed to me: Jesus the high priest, standing in the sight of the angel of the Lord. And Satan stood before his right hand, so as to be his adversary.
2 Onyenwe anyị sịrị ekwensu, “Onyenwe anyị basiere gị mba ike, gị ekwensu. Onyenwe anyị, onye họpụtara Jerusalem, basiere gị mba ike. Nwoke a, ọ bụghị ọlọkọ ọkụ na-ere ere, nke e si nʼime ọkụ gụpụta?”
And the Lord said to Satan, “May the Lord rebuke you, Satan! And may the Lord, who chose Jerusalem, rebuke you! Are you not a firebrand plucked from the fire?”
3 Mgbe Joshua guzo nʼihu mmụọ ozi ahụ, uwe ya ruru unyi.
And Jesus was clothed with filthy garments. And he stood before the face of an angel.
4 Mmụọ ozi ahụ gwara ndị ahụ guzo ya nʼihu, “Yipụnụ ya uwe a ruru unyi.” Mgbe ahụ, ọ gwara ya okwu sị, “Lee, ewepụla m mmehie gị, ma ugbu a, aga m eyikwasị gị uwe mmemme ndị a.”
He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And he said to him, “Behold, I have taken away from you your iniquity, and I have clothed you with a change of clothing.”
And he said, “Place a clean diadem on his head.” And they placed a clean diadem on his head, and they clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord remained standing.
6 Mgbe ahụ, mmụọ ozi nke Onyenwe anyị nyere Joshua ndụmọdụ sị,
And the angel of the Lord contested with Jesus, saying:
7 “Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru, ‘Ọ bụrụ na i jee ije nʼụzọ m niile, ọ bụrụkwa na i debe ihe niile m nyere gị nʼiwu, ị ga-abụ onyeisi ezinaụlọ m, ị ga-elekọta ụlọnsọ m anya, aga m enyekwa gị ọnọdụ nʼetiti ndị a niile guzo nʼebe a.
Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and keep my charge, you likewise will judge my house and will keep my courts, and I will give you some of those who now attend here to walk with you.
8 “‘Gee m ntị, gị Joshua, onyeisi nchụaja na unu ndị nchụaja ndị ọzọ nọ nʼihu gị, ndị bụ ihe ngosi banyere ihe ọma niile nke gaje ịbịa. Agaje m ịkpọta nwaodibo m, onye bụ Ngalaba ahụ.
Listen, Jesus the high priest, you and your friends, who dwell before you, who have been portending to men. For behold, I will lead my servant to the East.
9 Lee, nkume nke m guzobere nʼihu Joshua. Nkume ahụ nwere akụkụ asaa nʼahụ ya, aga m egbunye akara dee ihe nʼelu ya. Aga m ewezugakwa mmehie nke ala a nʼotu ụbọchị.’ Ọ bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru.
For behold, the stone that I have bestowed before Jesus. Upon one stone, there are seven eyes. Behold, I will carve its engraving, says the Lord of hosts. And I will take away the iniquity of that land in one day.
Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwubiri ya.”
On that day, says the Lord of hosts, every man will call his friend from under the vine and from under the fig tree.
