< Zekaraya 11 >
1 Meghee ọnụ ụzọ gị niile, gị Lebanọn. Ka ọkụ repịa osisi sida gị niile.
Open your doors, Lebanon, so that fire can burn up your cedars!
2 Kwasie akwa ike, gị osisi junipa, nʼihi na osisi sida adaala, nʼihi na e mebiela osisi ukwu ndị niile ahụ mabigara mma oke. Kwasienụ akwa ike, unu osisi ook nke Bashan, nʼihi na e gbudachala oke ọhịa ahụ!
Weep, juniper, because the cedar has fallen, the majestic trees are ruined! Weep, oaks of Bashan, for the thick forest has been cut down!
3 Gee ntị nʼụzụ akwa nke ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ, e mebiela ebe ịta nri mara mma nke anụ ụlọ ha. Gee ntị ka unu nụrụ olu mbigbọ nke ụmụ ọdụm, nʼihi na e bibiela oke ọhịa nke Jọdan.
Listen to the howls of the shepherds, for their pastureland is destroyed. Listen to the roars of the young lions, for their Jordan habitat is ruined.
4 Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị Chineke m kwuru, “Zụọnụ igwe ewu na atụrụ ndị a ga-egbu egbu nri.
This is what the Lord my God says: Become a shepherd of the flock marked for slaughter.
Those who buy them kill them and don't feel guilty; those who sell them say, “Praise the Lord! Now I'm rich!” Even their shepherds don't care about them.
6 Nʼihi na mụ onwe m agakwaghị egosi ndị ala a obi ebere.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri. “Aga m ewere onye ọbụla nʼime ha nyefee nʼaka onye agbataobi ya, na nʼaka eze ha. Ha ga-ebibi ala a kpamkpam, ma mụ onwe m agaghị anapụta onye ọbụla site nʼaka ha.”
For I will no longer care about the people of the Land, declares the Lord. I am going to make them victims of each other, and of the king. They will devastate the earth and I won't help anyone get away from them.
7 Nʼihi ya, azụrụ m igwe ewu na atụrụ ndị ahụ a ga-egbu egbu, nke ka nke, ndị ahụ a na-emegbu emegbu. Eweere m mkpanaka abụọ, kpọọ otu nʼime ha Amara, kpọọ nke ọzọ Ịdị nʼotu. Azụkwara m igwe atụrụ ndị ahụ.
So I became a shepherd of the flock marked for slaughter by the sheep merchants. Then I took two staffs, one named Grace, the other named Union, and I shepherded the flock.
8 Nʼime otu ọnwa, ewezugara m ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ atọ. Igwe ewu na atụrụ ndị ahụ kpọkwazịrị m asị, enwezighị m ike nweere ha ndidi.
In one month I dismissed three shepherds. I became impatient with them, and they also hated me.
9 Nʼihi ya, ekwuru m si, “Agaghị m abụkwa onye ọzụzụ atụrụ unu ọzọ. Nke ọbụla na-anwụ, ya nwụọ, ọzọ, nke na-ala nʼiyi, ya laa nʼiyi. Ka ndị fọdụrụ rie anụ ahụ ibe ha.”
Then I said, “I will not be your shepherd. If the sheep die, they die. Let those that are to perish, perish. Let those who are left eat each other!”
10 Mgbe ahụ, eweere m mkpanaka m, nke a kpọrọ Amara gbajie ya abụọ, igosi na emebiela m ọgbụgba ndụ nke mụ na ndị mmadụ gbara.
Then I took my staff called Grace and broke it, breaking the agreement I had made with all the peoples.
11 Nʼụbọchị ahụ ka e mere ka ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ gharakwa ịdị. Mgbe ahụ, ndị ahụ a na-akpagbu nʼetiti igwe ewu na atụrụ ahụ, bụ ndị na-ele m anya matara na ọ bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị.
It was broken on that day, and the sheep merchants who were watching me knew that it was a message from the Lord.
12 Mgbe ahụ, agwara m ha, “Ọ bụrụ na ọ masịrị unu, unu kwụọ m ụgwọ ọrụ m, ọ bụrụkwa na ọ masịghị unu, deberenụ onwe unu ego unu.” Nʼihi nke a, ha gụpụtara mkpụrụ ego ọlaọcha iri atọ, jiri ya kwụọ m ụgwọ.
I told them, “If you want to pay me my wages, then do so. If not, then don't.” So they paid me my wages—thirty pieces of silver.
And the Lord said to me, “Throw the money to the treasury,” this measly sum they thought I was worth! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw it into the treasury of the Lord's Temple.
14 Mgbe ahụ, agbajiri m mkpanaka m nke abụọ a na-akpọ Ịdị nʼotu, izipụta na njikọta maọbụ ịdị nʼotu dị nʼetiti Juda na Izrel adịghịkwa.
Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family union between Judah and Israel.
15 Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị gwara m, “Chịrịkwa ngwa ọrụ nke onye ọzụzụ atụrụ nzuzu ahụ,
The Lord told me, Get the things you use as a shepherd, a useless shepherd.
16 nʼihi na ana m aga ịkpọlite otu onye ọzụzụ atụrụ nke na-agaghị elekọta ụmụ atụrụ furu efu, maọbụ chọọ ndị na-etolite, maọbụ gwọọ ndị merụrụ ahụ, maọbụ nye ndị ahụ dị ike nri. Kama ọ ga-eri anụ atụrụ ndị ahụ ahụ ha dị mma, nyakapụkwa ụkwụ ha niile.
For I am placing a shepherd in charge of the land who won't care for those who are dying, or look for the lost, or heal the injured, or feed the healthy. Instead he will eat the meat from the fattest sheep. He even tears their hooves off.
17 “Ahụhụ dịrị onye ọzụzụ atụrụ ahụ na-abaghị uru, nke na-adịghị elezi igwe ewu na atụrụ ya anya. Ka mma agha gbupụ ya otu aka, ghụpụkwa ya anya aka nri ya. Ka ogwe aka ya kpọnwụọkwa kpamkpam. Otu a, anya aka nri ya ga-akpọkwa.”
What disaster is coming to this useless shepherd who abandons the flock! The sword will strike his arm and his right eye. His arm will wither away and his right eye will become completely blind.
