< Ndị Rom 8 >
1 Ya mere, ikpe ọmụma ọbụla adịghịkwa ugbu a nye ndị niile nọ nʼime Jisọs Kraịst.
There is, then, no condemnation, now, to those who are in Christ Jesus.
For the law of the Spirit of Life by Christ Jesus, has freed me from the law of sin, and of death.
3 Nʼihi na ihe iwu na-enweghị ike ime, nʼihi adịghị ike nke anụ ahụ, ka Chineke mere, site nʼizite Ọkpara ya, ka ọ bịa nʼụdịdị anụ ahụ mmehie, bụrụ aja mmehie, site otu a, maa mmehie ikpe na anụ ahụ.
For what the law could not accomplish in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh, accomplished; and by an offering for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
4 Ka izu ezu nke ihe niile iwu chọrọ nʼaka anyị bụrụ ihe e mezuru nʼime anyị, bụ ndị na-adịghị ebi ndụ dịka ọchịchọ anụ ahụ si dịrị, kama dịka ọchịchọ Mmụọ Nsọ si dị.
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled by us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Now, they who live according to the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; and they who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
But the mind of the flesh is death; and the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
7 Nʼihi na onye ọbụla tụkwasịrị uche ya nʼihe nke anụ ahụ na-ebuso Chineke agha, ọ naghị edebe iwu nke Chineke. Nʼeziokwu, ọ gaghị enwe ike idebe ya.
because the mind of the flesh is enmity toward God: for, to the law of God it is not subject; neither, indeed, can be.
8 Ya mere, ndị na-erubere anụ ahụ ha isi apụghị ime ihe ga-atọ Chineke ụtọ.
Those, then, who are in the flesh, can not please God.
9 Ma lee! Unu onwe unu anaghị ebizi ndụ nʼusoro nke anụ ahụ, kama unu na-ebi nʼusoro nke Mmụọ Nsọ nʼihi na Mmụọ nke Chineke bi nʼime unu. Onye ọbụla na-enweghị Mmụọ nke Kraịst abụghị nke ya.
Now, you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit; because the Spirit of God dwells in you. But, if any one have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 Ọ bụrụkwa na Kraịst bi nʼime unu, anụ ahụ unu ga-abụ ihe nwụrụ anwụ nʼebe mmehie dị, ma mmụọ unu dị ndụ nʼihi na a gụọla unu na ndị ezi omume.
And if Christ be in you, the body, indeed, is dead, with respect to sin; but the Spirit is life, with respect to righteousness.
11 Ọ bụrụ na Mmụọ onye mere ka Jisọs si nʼọnwụ bilie, bi nʼime gị, onye ahụ nke mere ka Kraịst si nʼọnwụ bilie ga-emekwa ka anụ ahụ gị dị ndụ site nʼike Mmụọ Nsọ ahụ, onye bi nʼime gị.
For, if the Spirit of him, who raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he who raised up Christ from the dead, will make even your mortal bodies alive, through his Spirit, who dwells in you.
12 Ya mere, ụmụnna m, anyị ji ụgwọ ma ọ bụghị anụ ahụ ka anyị ji ụgwọ ịdị ndụ dịka ọchịchọ ya si dị.
Well, then, brethren, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
Wherefore, if you live according to the flesh, you shall die; but if, through the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.
14 Nʼihi na ndị niile Mmụọ nke Chineke na-achị bụ ụmụ Chineke.
Because, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.
15 Nʼihi na unu anataghị mmụọ nke na-eme unu ndị ohu ọzọ nye ịtụ ụjọ, kama unu natara Mmụọ nke mere unu ụmụ Chineke. Ọ bụ site na Mmụọ ahụ ka anyị ji na-akpọ “Abba, Nna.”
For you have not received the spirit of bondage, again, to fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.
16 Mmụọ Nsọ, nʼonwe ya na-agbakwa ama nʼime mmụọ anyị, na-agwa anyị na anyị bụ ụmụ Chineke.
Also this spirit bears witness, together with our spirit, that we are children of God.
And if children, then heirs; heirs, indeed, of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if, indeed, we suffer with him, that with him also we may be glorified.
18 Nʼikwu eziokwu, ahụhụ niile anyị na-ata ugbu a erughị ihe a ga-eji tụnyere ebube niile a ga-ekpughe nʼime anyị.
However, I esteem not the sufferings of the present time, as worthy of comparison with the glory, which is hereafter to be revealed in us.
19 Ihe niile e kere eke ji oke agụụ na-eche mgbe a ga-egosipụta ndị bụ ụmụ Chineke.
For the earnest expectation of the creature, is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God.
20 Nʼihi na e tinyere ihe e kere eke nʼọnọdụ ihe na-abaghị uru, ma ọ bụghị site nʼọchịchọ nke onwe ya, kama nʼọchịchọ nke onye ahụ tinyere ya nʼọnọdụ ahụ nʼime olileanya,
For the creature was subjected to frailty, (not of its own choice, but by him who has subjected it, ) in hope,
21 na otu ụbọchị na ha ga-enwere onwe ha site nʼagbụ nke ire ure, sorokwa keta oke nʼebube ahụ ga-abụ nke ụmụ Chineke.
that it may be liberated, from the bondage of a perishing state, and brought into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.
22 Anyị maara na ruo ugbu a, ihe niile e kere eke na-asụ ude nʼihi ihe mgbu ha nọ nʼime ya, dịka ihe mgbu nke ọmụmụ nwa.
Besides, we know, that the whole creation sigh together, and travail in anguish till the present time.
23 Ọ bụghị naanị nke a, ma anyị onwe anyị, ndị nwere mkpụrụ mbụ nke Mmụọ Nsọ, na-asụkwa ude nʼime onwe anyị, na-echesi ike mgbe a ga-akpọbata anyị dịka ụmụ, mgbe a ga-agbapụta anụ ahụ anyị.
And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first fruit of the Spirit; even we ourselves, groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption; namely, the redemption of our body.
24 Nʼihi na a zọpụtara anyị site nʼolileanya dị otu a. Ma olileanya a na-ahụ anya abụghị olileanya. Onye na-enwe olileanya mgbe ihe ọ na-ele anya ya dị ya nʼaka?
For even we are saved by hope. Now, hope that is attained, is not hope; for who can hope for that which he enjoys?
25 Ma ọ bụrụ na olileanya anyị dabeere nʼihe ahụ anyị na-enwetabeghị, anyị ga-eji ndidi chere tutu ihe ahụ erute anyị aka.
But if we hope for that which we do not enjoy, then, with patience, we wait for it.
In like manner, also, the Spirit helps our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for, as we ought; however, the Spirit himself intercedes for us, in sighs, which can not be uttered.
27 Chineke, onye na-enyocha obi mmadụ, amarala ihe Mmụọ Nsọ bụ nʼuche. Nʼihi na Mmụọ Nsọ na-arịọrọ ndị nsọ niile arịrịọ dịka Chineke si chọọ.
But he who searches the hearts, knows the mind of the Spirit; that, according to the will of God, he makes intercession for the saints.
28 Anyị maara na ihe niile na-arụkọta ọrụ maka ọdịmma ndị hụrụ Chineke nʼanya bụ ndị a kpọrọ dịka uche nsọ ya siri dị.
Besides, we know, that all things work together for good, to them who love God; to them, who are called according to his purpose.
29 Nʼihi na ndị ahụ ọ maararị ka ọ kakwara akara ka ha nwe ụdịdị nke Ọkpara ya, ka ọ bụrụ nwa e buru ụzọ mụọ nʼetiti ọtụtụ ụmụnna.
For, whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be conformed to the image of his Son; that he might be the first born among many brethren.
Moreover, whom he predestinated, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 Gịnị ọzọ ka anyị ga-ekwu banyere ihe ndị a. Ọ bụrụ na Chineke nọnyere anyị, onye pụrụ imegide anyị?
What shall we say, then, to these things? Since God is for us, who can be against us?
He, certainly, who spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all; how will he not, with him, also, graciously give us all things?
33 Onye pụrụ ibo ndị ahụ Chineke họpụtara ebubo? Ọ bụ Chineke na-agụ mmadụ dịka onye ezi omume.
Who will bring an accusation against the elect of God? Is it God who justifies them?
34 Onye bụ onye ahụ nke ga-ama ikpe? Ọ bụ Kraịst Jisọs onye nwụrụ, ma karịa nke ahụ, onye e mere ka o si nʼọnwụ bilie, nọ nʼaka nri Chineke na-arịọtakwara anyị arịrịọ.
Who is he, who condemns them? It is Christ, who died; or rather, who has risen: who also, is at the right hand of God; and who makes intercession for us?
35 Onye nwere ike ikewapụ anyị site nʼịhụnanya Kraịst? Ọ bụ nsogbu, ka ọ bụ ihe isi ike, ka ọ bụ mkpagbu. Ka ọ bụ ụnwụ, ka ọ bụ ịgba ọtọ, ka ọ bụ ihe egwu, ka ọ bụ mma agha?
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will affliction, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 Dịka e dere ya, “Ọ bụ nʼihi gị ka anyị na ọnwụ ji na-agba mgba ụbọchị niile. A na-ele anyị anya dịka atụrụ a gaje igbu egbu.”
As it is written, "Truly, for thy sake, we are put to death all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
37 Mba, kama nʼime ihe ndị a niile, anyị karịrị ndị mmeri site nʼonye ahụ hụrụ anyị nʼanya.
Nay, in all these things, we do more than overcome, through him who has loved us.
38 Nʼihi na nke a bụ ihe m maara nke ọma, na ọnwụ, maọbụ ndụ, maọbụ ndị mmụọ ozi, maọbụ mmụọ dị iche iche ndị na-achị nʼelu na nʼụwa, maọbụ ike ọchịchịrị dị iche iche, maọbụ ihe dị ugbu a, maọbụ ihe gaje ịbịa,
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life; neither angels, nor principalities; nor powers; neither things present, nor to come;
39 maọbụ ịdị elu, maọbụ ịdị omimi, ma ọ bụkwanụ ihe ọbụla ọzọ e kere eke, agaghị enwe ike ikewapụ anyị site nʼịhụnanya Chineke, nke dị nʼime Kraịst Jisọs Onyenwe anyị.
neither hight, nor depth; nor any created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
