1 Mgbe ihe ndị a gasịrị, ahụrụ m ndị mmụọ ozi anọ ka ha guzo nʼakụkụ anọ nke ụwa. Ha na-egbochikwa ka ifufe ọbụla ghara ife nʼelu ala, na nʼelu osimiri, na nʼelu osisi.
And after these things I saw four angels, who stood on the four corners of the earth; and they held the four winds of the earth, so that the wind blew not on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on the trees.
2 Mgbe ahụ, ahụkwara m mmụọ ozi ọzọ ka o si nʼọwụwa anyanwụ na-apụta, akara Chineke dị ndụ dịkwa nʼaka ya. O tikuru ndị mmụọ ozi anọ ahụ mkpu, bụ ndị ahụ e nyere ike imekpa ụwa ahụ, ya na oke osimiri,
And I saw another angel, and he came up from the rising of the sun; and he had the seal of the living God; and he called out, with a loud voice, to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying:
3 na-asị, “Unu emebila ụwa maọbụ oke osimiri maọbụ osisi ọbụla tutu ruo mgbe anyị kachara ndị ohu niile nke Chineke anyị akara nʼegedege ihu ha.”
Hurt ye not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads.
4 Mgbe ahụ anụrụ m ọnụọgụgụ ndị a kara akara ahụ, ha dị narị puku mmadụ, na iri puku mmadụ anọ na anọ, bụ ndị sitere nʼebo niile nke Izrel.
And I heard the number of them that were sealed, a hundred and forty and four thousand, sealed from every tribe of Israelites.
5 Ndị a kara akara site nʼebo Juda dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. Ndị si nʼebo Ruben dịkwa puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. Ndị si nʼebo Gad dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ.
Of the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed: of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand: of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand:
6 E sitere nʼebo Asha họpụta puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. Ndị sitekwara nʼebo Naftalị dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. E sitere nʼebo Manase họpụta puku mmadụ iri na abụọ.
of the tribe of Ashur, twelve thousand: of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand: of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand:
7 Ndị si nʼebo Simiọn dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. Ndị sitere nʼebo Livayị dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. Ndị si nʼebo Isaka dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ.
of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand: of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand: of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand:
8 E sitere nʼebo Zebụlọn họpụta puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. Ndị si nʼebo Josef dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ. Ndị sikwa nʼebo Benjamin dị puku mmadụ iri na abụọ.
of the tribe of Zebulon, twelve thousand: of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand: of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand.
9 Mgbe ihe ndị a gasịrị, ahụrụ m oke igwe mmadụ, ndị dị ọtụtụ nʼọnụọgụgụ nke onye ọbụla na-apụghị ịgụta ọnụ. Ha sitere na mba dị iche iche na ebo dị iche iche na ndị niile na asụsụ dị iche iche, na-eguzo nʼihu ocheeze ahụ na nʼihu Nwa Atụrụ ahụ. Ha yikwasịrị onwe ha uwe ọcha, jirikwa igu nkwụ nʼaka ha.
And after these things, I looked, and lo, a great multitude, which no one could number, from all kindreds, and nations, and tribes, and tongues; who stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 Ma ha ji oke olu na-eti mkpu na-asị, “Nzọpụta dịrị Chineke anyị, onye na-anọkwasị nʼocheeze ahụ, dịkwara Nwa atụrụ ahụ.”
and they cried, with a loud voice, saying: Salvation to our God, to him who sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb.
11 Ndị mmụọ ozi niile ahụ guzoro ocheeze ahụ gburugburu, ha na ndị okenye ahụ na anụ anọ ahụ dị ndụ. Ha dara, kpuo ihu ha nʼala nʼihu ocheeze ahụ feekwa Chineke ofufe,
And all the angels stood around the throne and the Elders and the four Animals; and they fell upon their faces before his throne, and worshipped God,
12 na-asị, “Amen! Ngọzị niile na otuto niile, na amamihe niile na ekele niile na nsọpụrụ niile na ike niile na ume niile, dịrị Chineke anyị ruo mgbe niile ebighị ebi. Amen.” (aiōn g165)
saying: Amen. Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be to our God, for ever and ever: Amen. (aiōn g165)
13 Mgbe ahụ, otu nʼime ndị okenye ahụ zara m sị, “Ị maara ndị ahụ, ndị a e gbokwasịrị uwe ọcha ahụ, ebee ka ha siri pụta?”
And one of the Elders turned, and said to me: These who are clothed in white robes, who are they, and whence came they?
14 Asịrị m, “Onyenwe m, ọ bụ gị maara.” Ọ sịrị m, “Ndị a bụ ndị sitere nʼime oke mkpagbu ahụ pụta. Ha bụ ndị sachara uwe ha, mee ha ka ha dịrị ọcha site nʼọbara Nwa Atụrụ ahụ.
And I said to him: My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me: These are they who came from great affliction; and they have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Ọ bụ nke a mere, “ha ji guzoro nʼihu ocheeze Chineke na-efe ya ofufe ehihie na abalị nʼime ụlọnsọ ya. Onye ahụ na-anọkwasị nʼelu ocheeze ahụ ga-ekpuchikwa ha.
Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night, in his temple; and he who sitteth on the throne, will protect them:
16 ‘Agụụ agaghị agụkwa ha ọzọ. Akpịrị agaghị akpọkwa ha nkụ mgbe ọbụla. Anyanwụ agaghị achakwa ha ọzọ,’ okpomọkụ ọbụla agaghị erute ebe ha nọ.
they will not hunger, nor thirst any more; nor will the sun fall on them, nor any heat.
17 Nʼihi na Nwa Atụrụ ahụ nke nọ nʼetiti ocheeze ahụ ga-abụ onye ọzụzụ atụrụ ha; ‘ọ ga-edurukwa ha jee nʼisi mmiri nke ndụ ahụ.’ ‘Chineke ga-ehichapụkwa anya mmiri ọbụla site nʼanya ha.’”
Because the Lamb, which is in the midst of the throne, will feed them; and will lead them to fountains of living water; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.
