1 Onyenwe anyị bụ eze, ọ na-eyikwasị ịma mma dịka uwe; Onyenwe anyị na-eyikwasị ịma mma dịka uwe, ọ dịkwa ike nke ukwuu; nʼezie, ụwa niile na-eguzosikwa ike; apụghịkwa iwezuga ya nʼọnọdụ ya.
The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with excellency; the Lord is clothed, he hath girded himself with strength: [therefore] also the world is firmly established, that it cannot be moved.
2 Ocheeze gị eguzosiela ike siterị na mgbe ochie; ị na-adịkwa site nʼebighị ebi ruo ebighị.
Firmly established is thy throne from the beginning: from everlasting art thou [God].
3 Oke osimiri niile amaliela elu, O Onyenwe anyị; oke osimiri niile eweliela olu ha elu; ebili mmiri niile nke oke osimiri na-amali elu na-eme mkpọtụ.
The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voice; the rivers lift up their waves.
4 Onyenwe anyị onye nọ nʼelu, dị ukwuu karịa mkpọtụ nke oke osimiri niile na-eme, ma karịakwa ụda nke ebili mmiri nke oke osimiri.
[But] more than the noise of great waters, than the mighty billows of the sea, is the Lord excellent on high.
5 Ụkpụrụ gị niile, Onyenwe anyị na-eguzosi ike; ịdị nsọ bụ ihe e ji chọọ ụlọ gị mma ruo ụbọchị na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ.
Thy testimonies are exceedingly steadfast: in thy house abideth holiness, O Lord! to the utmost length of days.
