1 Abụ Ọma. Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Nʼusoro olu abụ “Ọnwụ nke Ọkpara.” Abụ ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, aga m esite nʼala ala obi m too gị, aga m agwakwa onye ọbụla ihe ọma niile ị na-eme.
To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David. I will praise [thee], O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy wonderful works.
2 Obi ga-atọ m ụtọ; obi m ga-ejupụta nʼọṅụ nʼihi gị, aga m abụrụ gị abụ otuto, gị Onye kachasị ihe niile elu.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
3 Ndị iro m na-alaghachi azụ, ha na-asọ ngọngọ na-alakwa nʼiyi nʼihu gị.
When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
4 I kpeela ikpe m nʼụzọ ziri ezi, nʼocheeze gị ka ị nọdụrụ na-ekpe ikpe ziri ezi.
For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou sattest on the throne judging right.
5 I baarala mba niile mba ma laa ndị ajọ omume nʼiyi, hichapụkwa aha ha ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
6 Mbibi nke na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ adakwasịla ndị iro m, I hopukwala obodo ha niile. Ọ dịghị onye na-echetakwa ha ọzọ.
O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial hath perished with them.
7 Onyenwe anyị bụ eze ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. Ọ kwadoola ocheeze ya maka ikpe ikpe ziri ezi.
But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
8 Ọ ga-eji ezi omume kpee mba niile ikpe; jirikwa ikpe ziri ezi chịa mba niile.
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
9 Onyenwe anyị bụ ebe mgbaba nye ndị niile a na-emegbu emegbu. Ọ bụụrụ ha ebe mgbaba e wusiri ike nʼoge nsogbu.
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
10 Onyenwe anyị, ndị niile maara aha gị ga-atụkwasị gị obi, nʼihi na ọ dịghị mgbe ị na-agbakụta ndị niile na-atụkwasị gị obi azụ.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
11 Bụkuonụ Onyenwe anyị abụ otuto, bụ onye nọ nʼocheeze ya na Zayọn. Kwusaaranụ mba niile ihe banyere ọrụ ebube ya.
Sing praises to the LORD, who dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
12 Nʼihi na onye ahụ na-abọrọ ndị e gburu egbu ọbọ anaghị echefu ihe; ọ dịghị elefu mkpu akwa nke ndị a na-akpagbu anya.
When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
13 O Onyenwe anyị, lee ka ndị iro m si akpagbu m! Meere m ebere ma napụta m site nʼọnụ ọnwụ,
Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble [which I suffer] from them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 ka m nwee ike ikwusa banyere otuto gị nʼọnụ ụzọ ama niile nke ada Zayọn, nọrọkwa ebe ahụ ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼime nzọpụta gị.
That I may show forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
15 Ndị mba niile adabala nʼime olulu ahụ ha gwuru; ọnya ahụ ha siri, zoo, amaala ha.
The heathen are sunk down in the pit [that] they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
16 Ihe e ji mara Onyenwe anyị bụ ikpe ya ziri ezi; ọrụ aka ndị na-emebi iwu na-ama ha dịka ọnya. (Sela)
The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. (Higgaion, Selah)
17 Ndị niile na-eme ajọ omume na-alaghachi nʼili; nke a bụkwa ọnọdụ mba niile na-echefu Chineke. (Sheol )
The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God. (Sheol )
18 Ma ọ bụghị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi ka a ga-echefu ndị nọ na mkpa; olileanya ndị a na-akpagbu agaghị abụkwa nke efu.
For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall [not] perish for ever.
19 O Onyenwe anyị, bilie! Ekwela ka mmadụ nwee mmeri ọbụla nʼebe ị nọ; ka e kpee mba niile ikpe nʼihu gị.
Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
20 O Onyenwe anyị! Mee ka ha maa jijiji nʼoke egwu; mee ka mba niile ghọta na ha bụ naanị mmadụ. (Sela)
Put them in fear, O LORD: [that] the nations may know themselves [to be but] men. (Selah)
