< Abụ Ọma 9 >
1 Abụ Ọma. Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Nʼusoro olu abụ “Ọnwụ nke Ọkpara.” Abụ ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, aga m esite nʼala ala obi m too gị, aga m agwakwa onye ọbụla ihe ọma niile ị na-eme.
To the chief Musician. Upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David. I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.
2 Obi ga-atọ m ụtọ; obi m ga-ejupụta nʼọṅụ nʼihi gị, aga m abụrụ gị abụ otuto, gị Onye kachasị ihe niile elu.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.
3 Ndị iro m na-alaghachi azụ, ha na-asọ ngọngọ na-alakwa nʼiyi nʼihu gị.
When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:
4 I kpeela ikpe m nʼụzọ ziri ezi, nʼocheeze gị ka ị nọdụrụ na-ekpe ikpe ziri ezi.
For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.
5 I baarala mba niile mba ma laa ndị ajọ omume nʼiyi, hichapụkwa aha ha ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
6 Mbibi nke na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ adakwasịla ndị iro m, I hopukwala obodo ha niile. Ọ dịghị onye na-echetakwa ha ọzọ.
O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. — Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.
7 Onyenwe anyị bụ eze ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. Ọ kwadoola ocheeze ya maka ikpe ikpe ziri ezi.
But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment.
8 Ọ ga-eji ezi omume kpee mba niile ikpe; jirikwa ikpe ziri ezi chịa mba niile.
And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.
9 Onyenwe anyị bụ ebe mgbaba nye ndị niile a na-emegbu emegbu. Ọ bụụrụ ha ebe mgbaba e wusiri ike nʼoge nsogbu.
And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.
10 Onyenwe anyị, ndị niile maara aha gị ga-atụkwasị gị obi, nʼihi na ọ dịghị mgbe ị na-agbakụta ndị niile na-atụkwasị gị obi azụ.
And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
11 Bụkuonụ Onyenwe anyị abụ otuto, bụ onye nọ nʼocheeze ya na Zayọn. Kwusaaranụ mba niile ihe banyere ọrụ ebube ya.
Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.
12 Nʼihi na onye ahụ na-abọrọ ndị e gburu egbu ọbọ anaghị echefu ihe; ọ dịghị elefu mkpu akwa nke ndị a na-akpagbu anya.
For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.
13 O Onyenwe anyị, lee ka ndị iro m si akpagbu m! Meere m ebere ma napụta m site nʼọnụ ọnwụ,
Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:
14 ka m nwee ike ikwusa banyere otuto gị nʼọnụ ụzọ ama niile nke ada Zayọn, nọrọkwa ebe ahụ ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼime nzọpụta gị.
That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation.
15 Ndị mba niile adabala nʼime olulu ahụ ha gwuru; ọnya ahụ ha siri, zoo, amaala ha.
The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken.
16 Ihe e ji mara Onyenwe anyị bụ ikpe ya ziri ezi; ọrụ aka ndị na-emebi iwu na-ama ha dịka ọnya. (Sela)
Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. (Higgaion, Selah)
17 Ndị niile na-eme ajọ omume na-alaghachi nʼili; nke a bụkwa ọnọdụ mba niile na-echefu Chineke. (Sheol )
The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God. (Sheol )
18 Ma ọ bụghị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi ka a ga-echefu ndị nọ na mkpa; olileanya ndị a na-akpagbu agaghị abụkwa nke efu.
For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.
19 O Onyenwe anyị, bilie! Ekwela ka mmadụ nwee mmeri ọbụla nʼebe ị nọ; ka e kpee mba niile ikpe nʼihu gị.
Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.
20 O Onyenwe anyị! Mee ka ha maa jijiji nʼoke egwu; mee ka mba niile ghọta na ha bụ naanị mmadụ. (Sela)
Put them in fear, Jehovah: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. (Selah)
