< Abụ Ọma 81 >
1 Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi Abụ. Abụ nke Asaf nʼusoro gittit. Bụkuo Chineke bụ ike anyị abụ ọṅụ, tikusie Chineke Jekọb mkpu ike!
Sing aloud to God our strength. Make a joyful noise to the God of Jacob.
2 Bidonụ iti egwu, kụọ ihe iti egwu, kpọọnụ ụbọ akwara na-enye abụ ụtọ na une.
Raise a song, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
3 Fụọnụ opi ike nʼoge ọnwa ọhụrụ, na mgbe ọnwa gbapụtara nʼuju ya, nʼụbọchị mmemme anyị;
Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast-day.
4 nke a bụ iwu dịrị Izrel, ụkpụrụ Chineke nke Jekọb.
For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
5 O mere ka o guzosie ike dịka iwu nye Josef mgbe ọ pụrụ imegide Ijipt. Anụkwara m olu nʼasụsụ nke m na-amaghị, ka ọ na-asị:
He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony when he went out over the land of Egypt, where I heard a language that I knew not.
6 “Ewezugala m ibu arọ site nʼubu ha; aka ha abụọ nwere onwe ha site nʼịrụ ọrụ.
I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.
7 Nʼime ihe mgbu unu, unu kpọrọ oku, anapụtara m unu, azara m unu site nʼegbe eluigwe; anwara m unu na mmiri nke Meriba. (Sela)
Thou called in trouble, and I delivered thee. I answered thee in the secret place of thunder. I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
8 “Nụrụnụ, ndị m, aga m adọ unu aka na ntị, a sịkwarị na unu ga-ege m ntị, unu ndị Izrel!
Hear, O my people, and I will testify to thee, O Israel, if thou would hearken to me!
9 Unu agaghị enwe chi ndị mba ọzọ nʼetiti unu; unu agaghị akpọkwa isiala nye chi si ala ọzọ.
There shall no strange god be in thee, nor shall thou worship any foreign god.
10 Abụ m Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu, onye kpọpụtara unu site nʼala Ijipt. Meghe ọnụ unu ka ọ saa mbara, aga m emeju ya.
I am Jehovah thy God who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
11 “Ma ndị m ekweghị ige m ntị. Izrel emekwaghị dịka m gwara ha.
But my people hearkened not to my voice, and Israel would none of me.
12 Ya mere, ahapụrụ m ha na ndụ isiike ha, ka ha soro nchepụta nke echiche ha.
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, that they might walk in their own counsels.
13 “Ewoo, a sị na ndị m gaara ege m ntị, a sịkwa na Izrel ga-eso ụzọ m niile.
O that my people would hearken to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
14 Ọ gaghị adị anya mgbe m ga-eji ike m, wezuga ndị iro ya site nʼọnọdụ ha. Aga m eweli aka m, megide ndị iro ya niile.
I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
15 Ndị niile kpọrọ Onyenwe anyị asị, ga-ada nʼihu ya nʼụjọ. Ịta ahụhụ ha ga-adịgidekwa, ruo ebighị ebi.
(The haters of Jehovah feign obedience to him, but their time is forever.)
16 Ma a ga-eji ụtụ ọka wiiti kachasị mma, nyejuo unu afọ; aga m ejikwa mmanụ aṅụ nke sitere nʼoke nkume, nyejuo unu afọ.”
He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat. And I would satisfy thee with honey out of the rock.
