< Abụ Ọma 77 >
1 Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Maka Jedutun. Abụ nke Asaf. Abụ Ọma. Etikuru m Chineke nʼoke olu maka enyemaka; etikuru m Chineke mkpu ka ọ nụrụ olu m.
For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by Asaph. My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.
2 Mgbe m nọ nʼihe mgbu, ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị ka m chọrọ. Nʼanyasị, esetipụrụ m aka m abụọ, ike na-agwụghị, mmụọ m jụkwara ka a akasịe ya obi.
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.
3 O Chineke, echetara m gị, sụkwaa ude; echere m echiche, mkpụrụobi m dakwara mba. (Sela)
I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Selah)
4 I kweghị ka anya m abụọ mechie; nʼihi oke mwute m, enweghị m ike kwuo okwu.
You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.
5 Echere m echiche banyere ụbọchị niile gara aga, na afọ niile ndị gara aga.
I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6 Echetara m abụ niile m na-abụ nʼime anyasị. Mkpụrụobi m nọ nʼọnọdụ ntụgharị uche, mmụọ m jụkwara ajụjụ.
I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:
7 “Onyenwe anyị ọ ga-agbakụta m azụ ruo mgbe ebighị ebi? Ọ pụtara na ọ gaghị egosi ihuọma ya ọzọ?
“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
8 Ọ pụtara na ịhụnanya ya nke na-adịgide ruo ebighị ebi agwụla? Ọ pụtara na nkwa ya agaghị emezu ruo ebighị ebi?
Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
9 Chineke, o chefuola i mere anyị ebere? O jichiela ọmịiko ya nʼihi iwe?” (Sela)
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” (Selah)
10 Mgbe ahụ, ekwuru m, “Lee ọnọdụ ọjọọ m, afọ niile mgbe Onye kachasị ihe niile elu setịpụrụ aka nri ya.
Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”
11 Aga m echeta ọrụ niile Onyenwe anyị rụrụ; e, aga m echeta ihe ịrịbama niile i mere nʼoge gara aga.
I will remember Yah’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.
12 Aga m atụgharịa uche m nʼọrụ gị niile, tuleekwa ọrụ ukwuu gị niile dị iche iche.”
I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.
13 O Chineke, ụzọ gị niile dị nsọ. Olee chi dị ukwuu dịka Chineke anyị?
Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?
14 Ị bụ Chineke onye na-arụ ọrụ ebube dị iche iche; ị na-egosipụta ike gị nʼetiti ụmụ mmadụ.
You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.
15 I ji aka gị dị ike gbapụta ndị gị, bụ ụmụ ụmụ Jekọb na Josef. (Sela)
You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 Osimiri hụrụ gị, O Chineke, osimiri hụrụ gị, taa; ogbu mmiri mere mkpọtụ.
The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.
17 Igwe ojii wụpụrụ mmiri, mkpọtụ egbe eluigwe jupụtara mbara eluigwe; àkụ gị gburu amụma ebe niile.
The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.
18 A nụrụ ụda egbe eluigwe gị nʼoke ifufe, amụma gị nyere ụwa niile ihe; elu ụwa niile mara jijiji, tụkwaa oke egwu.
The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.
19 Ọ bụ nʼosimiri ka nzọ ụkwụ gị gara, ụzọ gị gara nʼetiti oke osimiri, ọ bụ ezie na ahụghị m nzọ ụkwụ gị anya.
Your way was through the sea, your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
20 I sitere nʼaka Mosis na Erọn duo ndị gị dịka igwe atụrụ.
You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
