1 Abụ Ọma dịrị onyeisi abụ. Nke eji ụbọ akwara akpọ. Abụ Ọma Asaf. Otu Abụ. A maara Chineke nʼobodo Juda; aha ya dị ukwuu nʼobodo Izrel.
“To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm or song of Assaph.” In Judah hath God been made known: in Israel is his name great.
2 Ụlọ ikwu ya dị na Salem, ebe obibi ya dị na Zayọn
And in Salem was his tabernacle made, and his dwelling-place in Zion.
3 Ebe ahụ ka o tijisịrị àkụ niile na-egbu amụma, na ọta niile, na mma agha niile, na ngwa agha niile. (Sela)
There broke he the shining arrows of the bow, shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)
4 Ị jupụtara nʼìhè, ị dị oke ebube karịa ọtụtụ ugwu nke anụmanụ jupụtara.
Thou art more brilliant, more excellent than the mountains [full] of prey.
5 A pụnarịla ndị nwere obi ike ihe ha, ha na-arahụkwa ụra ikpeazụ ha; o nweghị otu onye nʼime ndị dike nʼagha ndị a pụrụ iweli aka ya abụọ elu.
Bereft of reason are the stouthearted, they slumber their sleep: and none of the men of might have found [the use of] their hands.
6 Nʼihi ịba mba gị, O Chineke nke Jekọb, ịnyịnya na ụgbọ agha na-anọ juu.
From thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, lie in deep sleep both chariot and horse.
7 Ọ bụ naanị gị ka e kwesiri ịtụ egwu. Onye pụrụ iguzo nʼihu gị mgbe i na-ewe iwe?
Thou—thou art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thy anger [is kindled]?
8 I sitere nʼeluigwe mee ka a nụ olu ikpe ikpe gị. Ụwa tụkwara egwu, dere duu,
From heaven hast thou caused [thy] sentence to be heard: the earth feared, and became still,
9 mgbe gị, O Chineke, biliri ikpe ikpe, ịzọpụta ndị niile a na-akpagbu nʼala a. (Sela)
When God rose to judgment, to save all the lowly of the earth. (Selah)
10 Nʼezie, oke iwe gị megide ụmụ mmadụ na-ewetara gị otuto, ndị fọdụrụ mgbe oke iwe gị gabigasịrị, na-anọ juu.
For the fury of man shall praise thee: the remainder of the fury wilt thou gird about thee.
11 Kwenụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke nkwa ma mezuokwa ha; ka ndị ala niile bụ agbataobi unu wetara onye ahụ e kwesiri ịtụ egwu onyinye dị iche iche.
Make vows, and pay [them] unto the Lord your God, all ye that are round about him: let men bring presents unto him that exciteth fear.
12 Ọ na-eweda ndị na-achị achị nʼala; ndị eze niile nke ụwa na-atụ ya egwu.
He will cut down the spirit of the powerful: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
