1 Abụ nke Solomọn. O Chineke, jiri ikpe ziri ezi mejupụta eze. Nyekwa nwa eze ezi omume gị.
Solomon’s. O God! thy justice, give, unto the king, And thy righteousness, unto the son of a king;
2 Ọ ga-eji ezi omume chịa ndị gị, jiri ikpe ziri ezi chịa ndị a na-emegbu.
May he judge, Thy people with righteousness; And thine oppressed ones with justice;
3 Ka ugwu niile wetara ndị mmadụ ịba ụba; ugwu nta niile wetakwara ha mkpụrụ ezi omume.
May the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills [be laden] with righteousness;
4 Ọ ga-ekpepụta ndị a na-emegbu nʼetiti ndị mmadụ, zọpụtakwa ụmụntakịrị ndị nọ na mkpa; ọ ga-egwepịa onye mmegbu.
May he, Vindicate the oppressed of the people, Bring deliverance to the children of the needy, and, Crush the oppressor.
5 Ka ọ dịgide ruo mgbe niile dịka anyanwụ na-adịgide, dịka ọnwa na-adịgidekwa ruo ọgbọ niile.
Let men revere thee, With the sun, And in presence of the moon, Unto the remotest generation.
6 Ọ ga-adị ka mmiri na-ezokwasị ala ubi a sụrụ asụ, dịka mmiri ozuzo na-ede elu ala.
Let him come down, Like rain on fields to be mown, Like myriad drops on land to be reaped.
7 Nʼoge ndụ ya, ka ndị ezi omume too, na-awasa; ịba ụba ga-ejupụta ebe niile ruo mgbe ọnwa agaghị adịkwa.
May righteousness, in his days, blossom forth, And abundance of peace, till there be no moon.
8 Ọ ga-achị site nʼosimiri ruo osimiri, na-esite nʼiyi ukwu. ruo na nsọtụ niile nke ụwa
So let him have dominion, From sea to sea, And from the River ["Euphrates"] unto the ends of the earth;
9 Ebo niile ndị bi nʼọzara ga-akpọ isiala nye ya, ndị iro ya niile ga-abụ ndị e wedara nʼala.
Before him, let the men of the desert kneel, But, as for his foes, the dust, let them lick;
10 Ndị eze Tashish na mba niile dị nʼebe dị anya, ga-atụ ụtụ wetara ya; e, ọ bụladị ndị eze si Sheba na Seba, ga-ewetara ya ọtụtụ onyinye.
The kings of Tarshish and of the Coastlands, A gift, let them render, The kings of Sheba and Seba, A present, let them bring;
11 Ndị eze niile ga-akpọ isiala nye ya, mba niile ga-ejekwara ya ozi.
Yea let all kings, bow down unto him, Let, all nations, serve him;
12 Nʼihi na ọ ga-azọpụta ndị nọ na mkpa mgbe ha kpọkuru ya. Ọ ga-azọpụtakwa ndị ogbenye na-enweghị onye ga-enyere ha aka.
Because he Rescueth, The needy from the rich, The oppressed, who hath no helper;
13 Ọ ga-enwe ọmịiko nʼahụ ndị na-enweghị ike, na ndị nọ na mkpa, ọ ga-azọpụta ndị nọ na mkpa site nʼọnwụ.
He Pitieth the weak and the needy, And, the lives of the needy, he Saveth:
14 Ọ ga-azọpụta ha site na mkpagbu na ihe ike, nʼihi na ndụ ha dị oke ọnụahịa nʼanya ya.
From extortion, and, violence, he Redeemeth their life, And precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Ka ọ dị ogologo ndụ! Ka e nye ya ọlaọcha e wetara na Sheba. Ka ndị mmadụ na-ekpere ya ekpere mgbe niile, ma gọziekwa ya ogologo ụbọchị niile.
Let him live, then! And be there given unto him of the gold of Sheba, —Let prayer also be offered for him continually, All the day, let him be blessed.
16 Ka mkpụrụ ọka jupụta nʼebe niile nʼala a; ka ha na-efufegharị nʼelu ugwu niile. Ka mkpụrụ ubi ya wasaa dịka Lebanọn; ka mmadụ jupụta nke ọma nʼobodo dịka ahịhịa ndụ nke ọhịa.
May there be an abundance of corn in the earth, in the top of the mountains, —Let the fruit thereof, wave like Lebanon, And they of the city bloom like the fresh shoots of the earth.
17 Ka aha ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi; ka ọ na-adịgide ruo mgbe niile dịka anyanwụ si adịgide. A ga-esite na ya gọzie mba niile, a ga-akpọ ya onye a gọziri agọzi.
May his Name be age-abiding, In the presence of the sun, let his Name flourish, —And may all the families of the ground bless themselves in him, All nations, pronounce him happy!
18 Otuto dịrị Onyenwe anyị Chineke, Chineke nke Izrel, onye naanị ya na-arụ ọrụ ebube dị iche iche.
Blessed be Yahweh God, the God of Israel, —Who doeth wondrous things by himself alone;
19 Otuto dịrị aha ya dị ebube ruo ebighị ebi; ka ụwa niile jupụta nʼebube ya.
And blessed be his glorious Name, unto times age-abiding, —And filled with his glory be all the earth, Amen and Amen!
20 Nke a bụ ọgwụgwụ ekpere Devid nwa Jesi.
