< Abụ Ọma 71 >
1 Onyenwe anyị, nʼime gị ka m gbabara izere ndụ; ekwela ka ihere mee m.
In thee, O Yahweh, have I sought refuge, May I not be ashamed unto times age-abiding:
2 Site nʼezi omume gị, gbapụta m, mee ka m nwere onwe m; tọọ ntị gị nʼala nụrụ olu m ma zọpụta m.
In thy righteousness, wilt thou rescue me, and deliver me, Incline unto me thine ear, and save me:
3 Ghọọrọ m oke nkume nke ebe mgbaba, ebe m nwere ike ịgbaba mgbe ọbụla; nye iwu maka nzọpụta m, nʼihi na ị bụ oke nkume m na ebe m e wusiri ike.
Be thou unto me, a Rock to dwell in, a Place of Security, To save me, For, my mountain crag and my stronghold, thou art.
4 O Chineke m, site nʼaka ndị ajọ omume na ndị mmadụ na-eme ihe ọjọọ, ndị afọ tara mmiri, gbapụta m.
Oh my God, deliver me, From the hand of the lawless one, From the clutch of the perverse and ruthless one;
5 Nʼihi na gị onwe gị bụrịị olileanya m, Onyenwe m Onyenwe anyị, ntụkwasị obi m site na mgbe m bụ nwantakịrị.
For, thou, art my hope, My Lord, Yahweh, My confidence from my youthful days:
6 Ọ bụ gị ka m tụkwasịrị obi, site nʼoge amụrụ m; gị onwe gị wepụtara m site nʼafọ nne m. Aga m anọgide na-eto gị.
Upon thee, have I stayed myself from birth, Thou art he that severed me, from the body of my mother, Of thee, shall be my praise—continually.
7 Adịla m ka ihe ama nye ọtụtụ mmadụ, ma ị bụ ebe mgbaba m siri ike.
A very wonder, have I been unto many, Seeing that, thou, hast been my strong refuge,
8 Ọnụ m jupụtara nʼotuto gị, ọ na-ekwupụta ịma mma gị ogologo ụbọchị niile.
My mouth shall be filled with, thy praise, All the day, with thy splendour.
9 Agbakụtala m azụ mgbe m mere agadi; ahapụkwala m mgbe ike adịghịkwa m.
Do not cast me off in the time of old age, When my vigour faileth, do not forsake me;
10 Nʼihi na ndị iro m na-ekwu okwu megide m; ndị ahụ na-achọ igbu m na-agbarịta izu nzuzo.
For mine enemies have spoken of me, And, they who watch for my life, have taken counsel together;
11 Ha na-asị, “Chineke agbakụtala ya azụ; chụọ ya ọsọ, jidekwa ya, nʼihi na o nweghị onye ọbụla ga-agbapụta ya.”
Saying, God, hath forsaken him, Pursue and take him, For there is none to rescue.
12 O Chineke, anọla m ebe dị anya; O Chineke m, bịa ngwangwa nyere m aka.
O God, be not far from me, O my God, to help me, make haste!
13 Ka e were ihere kpuchie ndị na-ebo m ebubo ụgha; ka ihere na nleda anya bụrụ ihe ga-ekpuchi ndị ahụ na-achọ imerụ m ahụ.
Let them be ashamed—be consumed, Who are assailing my life, —Let them be covered with reproach and confusion, Who are seeking my hurt.
14 Ma mụ onwe m ga-anọgide na-enwe olileanya mgbe niile; aga m eto gị mgbe niile karịa otu m toro gị na mbụ.
But, I, continually will hope, And will add to all thy praise;
15 Ọnụ m ga-ekwu banyere ezi omume gị na nzọpụta gị ogologo ụbọchị niile, ọ bụ ezie na-amaghị m ọtụtụ ya.
My mouth, shall relate thy righteousness, All the day, thy deliverance, For I know not the numbers.
16 Aga m abịa kwusaakwa ịdị ukwu ọrụ gị niile, Onyenwe m Onyenwe anyị, aga m ekwusa ezi omume gị, e, naanị nke gị.
I will enter into the mighty doings of My Lord—Yahweh, I will make mention of thy righteousness—thine alone.
17 O Chineke, site na mgbe m bụ nwantakịrị, i kuzielera m ihe, ruo taa, ana m ekwupụta banyere ọrụ ebube gị niile.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youthful days, And, hitherto, have I been wont to tell of thy wonders;
18 O Chineke m, ọ bụladị mgbe m mere agadi, mgbe isi awọ juru m isi, ahapụla m, tutu ruo mgbe m ga-ekwupụta ike gị nye ọgbọ nke na-abịa, na ịdị ike gị nye ndị niile na-abịa nʼoge dị nʼihu.
Even now, therefore, that I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, —Until I tell of thine arm unto a [new] generation, Unto every one that is to come, thy might;
19 O Chineke, ezi omume gị na-eru nʼeluigwe, gị onye merela ọtụtụ ihe dị ukwu. O Chineke, onye dị ka gị?
And, as for thy righteousness, O God, up on high, Wherein thou hast wrought great things, O God! who is like unto thee?
20 Nʼagbanyeghị na i meela ka m gabiga ọtụtụ nsogbu nke dị ilu, ị ga-atụte ndụ m ọzọ; site nʼebe dị omimi nke ụwa, ị ga-adọkpụpụta m ọzọ.
Thou who hast let us see many distresses and misfortunes, Wilt again bring us to life, And, out of the resounding depths of the earth, wilt again raise us up;
21 Ị ga-eme m ka m dịrị ukwuu karịa ka m dị na mbụ. Ị ga-akasịkwa m obi ọzọ.
Thou wilt increase my greatness, And, on every side, wilt comfort me.
22 O Chineke m, aga m eji ụbọ akwara too gị, nʼihi ikwesi ntụkwasị obi gị; aga m eji une bụkuo gị abụ otuto, gị Onye nsọ nke Izrel.
I also, will praise thee by the aid of a harp, Thy faithfulness, O my God, —I will make music unto thee with a lyre, Thou holy one of Israel;
23 Egbugbere ọnụ m ga-eti mkpu ọṅụ mgbe m na-abụku gị abụ otuto, mụ, onye ị gbapụtara.
My lips shall make a joyful noise, When I make music unto thee, And my soul which thou hast ransomed;
24 Ogologo ụbọchị niile, aga m ekwupụta ọrụ ezi omume gị niile, nʼihi na ndị ahụ chọrọ imerụ m ahụ, ka e tinyere nʼọnọdụ ihere na ọgbaaghara.
Even my tongue, all the day, shall softly utter thy righteousness, For they have turned pale—for they have blushed, Who were seeking my hurt.
