1 Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Nke e ji ụbọ akwara abụ. Nʼusoro Sheminit. Abụ Ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, abarala m mba mgbe ị na-ewe iwe. Atala m ahụhụ nʼoge ọnụma gị.
To the Chief Musician, with stringed Instruments upon the eighth. A Melody of David. O Yahweh! do not, in thine anger, correct me, nor, in thy wrath, chastise me.
2 Biko, meere m ebere Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na adịghị m ike. Gwọọ m, nʼihi na ọkpụkpụ m niile nọ nʼihe mgbu.
Show me favour, O Yahweh, for languishing am I: Heal me, O Yahweh, —for dismayed are my bones:
3 Mkpụrụobi m nọ nʼọnọdụ ihe mgbu. Ruo ole mgbe, O Onyenwe anyị, ka ị ga-anọgide na-agba m nkịtị?
Yea, my soul, is dismayed greatly, Thou, then, O Yahweh—how long?
4 Onyenwe anyị, biko, bịa zọpụta m; nʼihi ịhụnanya gị na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ, napụta m.
Return, O Yahweh, deliver my soul, Save me, for the sake of thy lovingkindness;
5 Nʼetiti ndị nwụrụ anwụ ọ dịghị onye na-ekwupụta aha gị. O nwere onye na-eto gị site nʼala ili? (Sheol h7585)
For, in death, is no remembrance of thee, —In hades, who shall give thanks unto thee? (Sheol h7585)
6 Ike agwụla m nʼihi ịsụ ude. Abalị niile, ana m eji ịkwa akwa mee ka ihe ndina m jupụta na mmiri, ana m eji anya mmiri dee ihe ndina m.
I am weary with my sighing, I flood, through the whole night, my couch, —With my tears, I cause, my bed, to dissolve:
7 Anya m adịghị ahụzikwa ụzọ nke ọma nʼihi ihe mwute; ọ kaala nka nʼihi mmeso ndị iro m.
My face, is all sunken with sorrow, —it hath aged, because of all mine adversaries.
8 Sitenụ nʼebe m nọ wezuga onwe unu, unu ndị na-eme ajọ ihe, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị anụla akwa m niile.
Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity, for Yahweh hath heard the voice of my weeping:
9 Onyenwe anyị anụla akwa m; ọ nụla arịrịọ nke m na-arịọ ya ka o meere m ebere. Ọ nabatala ekpere m.
Yahweh, hath heard my supplication, Yahweh, will receive, my prayer.
10 Ka ndị iro m niile bụrụ ndị ihere ga-eme. Ha ga-ada mba, bụrụkwa ndị ga-eji ihere laghachi ebe ha si bịa.
Let all my foes, turn pale and be greatly dismayed, Again let them turn pale in a moment.
