1 Abụ Ọma Asaf. Onyenwe anyị, Chineke, Onye kachasị chi niile, ekwuola okwu ma kpọkọta ụwa niile, site na ọwụwa anyanwụ ruo na ọdịda ya.
A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from where the sun rises to where it sets.
2 Chineke na-enwupụta dịka ìhè, site na Zayọn, nke zuruoke nʼime ịma mma.
From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
3 Chineke anyị na-abịa, ọ gaghị emechikwa ọnụ; ọkụ na-erepịa erepịa dị nʼihu ya, oke ifufe na-efesi ike gbakwara ya gburugburu.
Our God approaches and will not be silent! Consuming fire precedes Him, and a tempest rages around Him.
4 Ọ na-akpọku eluigwe na ụwa ka o kpee ndị ya ikpe: Ọ na-asị,
He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that He may judge His people:
5 “Chikọtaranụ m ndị m e doro nsọ, bụ ndị mụ na ha ji ịchụ aja gbaa ndụ.”
“Gather to Me My saints, who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”
6 Eluigwe na-ekwupụta ezi omume ya, nʼihi na Chineke nʼonwe ya bụ onye ikpe. (Sela)
And the heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge.
7 “Nụrụnụ, ndị m, m ga-ekwukwa, Izrel, aga m agba ama megide unu, Abụ m Chineke, Chineke unu.
“Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God.
8 Anaghị m abara unu mba nʼihi ịchụ aja unu, na aja nsure ọkụ unu nke na-adị m nʼihu oge niile.
I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices, and your burnt offerings are ever before Me.
9 Enweghị m mkpa maka oke ehi unu site nʼụlọ anụmanụ unu maọbụ mkpi site nʼọgba igwe ewu na atụrụ unu,
I have no need for a bull from your stall or goats from your pens,
10 nʼihi na ụmụ anụmanụ niile nke oke ọhịa bụ nke m, ha na ehi niile nọ nʼelu otu puku ugwu.
for every beast of the forest is Mine— the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 Amaara m ụmụ nnụnụ niile nọ nʼelu ugwu niile, ihe niile e kere eke nọ nʼọhịa bụ nke m.
I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are Mine.
12 Ọ bụrụ na agụụ agụọ m, agaghị m agwa gị ya, nʼihi na ụwa na ihe niile dị nʼime ya bụ nke m.
If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and the fullness thereof.
13 Ana m ata anụ oke ehi, ka ọ bụ ọbara mkpi ka m ga-aṅụ?
Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14 “Chụọrọ Chineke aja ekele, mezuo nkwa i kwere Onye kachasị ihe niile elu,
Sacrifice a thank offering to God, and fulfill your vows to the Most High.
15 ma kpọkuo m nʼụbọchị nsogbu gị, aga m agbapụta unu, unu ga-enyekwa m nsọpụrụ.”
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.”
16 Ma Chineke na-agwa ndị na-eme ihe ọjọọ okwu sị, “Olee, nkwuwa okwu unu nwere ịgụgharị iwu m, maọbụ kwupụta ọgbụgba ndụ m nʼọnụ unu?
To the wicked, however, God says, “What right have you to recite My statutes and to bear My covenant on your lips?
17 Unu kpọrọ ndụmọdụ m asị, na-atụfekwa okwu m nʼazụ unu.
For you hate My instruction and cast My words behind you.
18 Mgbe unu hụrụ onye ohi, unu na ya na-ejikọta aka; unu na ndị na-akwa iko na-ekekọkwa oke.
When you see a thief, you befriend him, and throw in your lot with adulterers.
19 Ọnụ unu na-eme ọsịịsọ ikwu okwu ọjọọ, okwu aghụghọ na nke rere ure na-esikwa nʼọnụ unu na-asọpụta dịka iyi.
You unleash your mouth for evil and unharness your tongue for deceit.
20 Unu na-ekwugide ụmụnna unu mgbe niile, na-ekwutọkwa nwanne unu nwoke.
You sit and malign your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.
21 Ihe ndị a ka unu mere ma agbachiri m nkịtị; unu chekwara na adị m ka unu. Ma aga m abara unu mba ma bokwaa unu ebubo unu nʼihu unu.
You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you to your face.
22 “Tụgharịa uche na nke a, unu ndị na-echefu Chineke, ma ọ bụghị ya, aga m adọrisi unu, ọ dịkwaghị onye ga-agbapụta unu.
Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:
23 Onye na-eji ekele achụrụ m aja, na-asọpụrụ m, ọ bụkwa onye na-edozi ụzọ ya, ka m ga-eme ka ọ hụ nzọpụta Chineke.”
He who sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and to him who rights his way, I will show the salvation of God.”
