< Abụ Ọma 41 >
1 Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Abụ Ọma Devid. Ndị a gọziri agọzi ka ha bụ ndị nwere uche na-eleta ndị ogbenye; Onyenwe anyị na-azọpụta ha nʼoge nsogbu.
Unto the end. A Psalm of David himself. Blessed is he who shows understanding toward the needy and the poor. The Lord will deliver him in the evil day.
2 Onyenwe anyị ga-echebe ha, debekwa ha ndụ; ọ ga-eme ka ihe na-agara ha nke ọma nʼala ahụ, ọ gaghị arara ha nye nʼọchịchọ ndị iro ha.
May the Lord preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth. And may he not hand him over to the will of his adversaries.
3 Onyenwe anyị na-elekọta ha mgbe ahụ na-esighị ha ike, meekwa ka ahụ dị ha mma.
May the Lord bring him help on his bed of sorrow. In his infirmity, you have changed his entire covering.
4 Ekwuru m sị, “O Onyenwe anyị, meere m ebere; gwọọ m, nʼihi na emehiela m megide gị.”
I said, “O Lord, be merciful to me. Heal my soul, because I have sinned against you.”
5 Ndị iro m na-esite nʼiro ha ekwu okwu megide m na-asị, “Olee mgbe ọ ga-anwụ ka aha ya laa nʼiyi?”
My enemies have spoken evils against me. When will he die and his name perish?
6 Mgbe otu nʼime ha bịara ịhụ m, ọ na-ekwu okwu ụgha, ma obi ya na-achịkọta ihe nkwulu; mgbe ahụ ọ na-apụ, ga kọsaa ya.
And when he came in to see me, he was speaking emptiness. His heart gathered iniquity to itself. He went outside, and he was speaking in the same way.
7 Ndị niile kpọrọ m asị na-agbarịta izu megide m; ha na-echekwa echiche ọjọọ banyere m, na-asịrịta onwe ha:
All my enemies were whispering against me. They were thinking up evils against me.
8 “Ọrịa ọjọọ adakwasịla ya; ọ gaghị esite na ihe ndina ya bilie ọtọ ọzọ.”
They established an unjust word against me. Will he that sleeps no longer rise again?
9 Ọ bụladị ezigbo enyi m, onye m tụkwasịrị obi, onye mụ na ya na-eso erikọ nri m, ebiliela imegide m.
For even the man of my peace, in whom I hoped, who ate my bread, has greatly supplanted me.
10 Ma gị, O Onyenwe anyị, meere m ebere, mee ka ahụ sie m ike ọzọ, ka m nwee ike kwụghachi ha ụgwọ.
But you, O Lord, have mercy on me, and raise me up again. And I will requite them.
11 Amaara m na ihe banyere m na-atọ gị ụtọ nʼobi, nʼihi na i kwebeghị ka ndị iro m nwee mmeri nʼebe m nọ.
By this, I knew that you preferred me: because my adversary will not rejoice over me.
12 Nʼihi ikwesi ntụkwasị obi m, ị na-akwagide m, mee ka m nọrọ nʼihu gị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
But you have sustained me, because of my innocence, and you have confirmed me in your sight in eternity.
13 Otuto dịrị Onyenwe anyị, Chineke nke Izrel, site nʼebighị ebi ruo ebighị ebi.
Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for all generations and even forever. Amen. Amen.
