< Abụ Ọma 35 >
1 Abụ Ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, lụso ha ọgụ bụ ndị na-alụso m ọgụ; buso ha agha bụ ndị na-ebuso m agha.
David’s. Contend, O Yahweh, with them who contend with me, Make war upon them who make war upon me.
2 Yikwasị uwe agha gị, werekwa ọta gị; bilie bịa nyere m aka.
Grasp buckler and shield, and arise in my help;
3 Sepụta ùbe gị na anyụike agha gị; bịa zute ndị na-achụ m ọsọ. Gwa mkpụrụobi m, “Abụ m nzọpụta gị.”
Then draw the spear, and close up against my pursuers, Say to my soul, Thy salvation, I am!
4 Mee ka ihere mee ndị niile na-agbalịsị ike igbu m. Ka ndị na-agba izuzu igbu m bụrụkwa ndị a chụghachiri azụ, na ndị ihere mere.
Let them be ashamed and confounded, who are seeking my life, —Let them turn back and be put to the blush, who are devising my hurt:
5 Ka ha dịka igbugbo ọka mgbe oke ifufe na-efe, ka mmụọ ozi Onyenwe anyị bụrụ onye na-achụfu ha.
Let them be as chaff before the wind, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pressing them on:
6 Mee ka ụzọ ha gbaa ọchịchịrị, bụrụkwa ebe na-amị amị; ka mmụọ ozi Onyenwe anyị bụrụ onye na-achụ ha ọsọ.
Let their way become dark and slippery, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pursuing them.
7 Ọ bụ ezie na ọ dịghị ihe ọjọọ ọbụla m mere ha, ma ha siere m ọnya, gwukwaara m olulu nʼụzọ m.
For, without cause, have they hid for me, in a ditch, their net, —Without cause, have they digged [a pit] for my life.
8 Ka mbibi bịakwasị ha na mberede, ka ụgbụ ha zobeere m kee ha; ka ha lakwaa nʼiyi site nʼidaba nʼolulu ahụ ha gwuru.
There shall reach him a ruin he could not know, —Yea, his own net which he hath hidden, shall capture him, Into that ruin, shall he fall!
9 Mgbe ahụ, mkpụrụobi m ga-aṅụrị ọṅụ na Onyenwe anyị, ọ ga-enwekwa obi ụtọ nʼime nzọpụta ya.
But, my soul, shall exult in Yahweh, —shall be glad in his salvation.
10 Ihe niile dị nʼime m ga-eti mkpu sị, “O Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụ onye dịka gị? Ị na-agbapụta ndị na-adịghị ike site nʼaka ndị dị ike karịa ha, ma na-anapụta ndị ogbenye ndị chọrọ enyemaka site nʼaka ndị na-apụnara ha ihe ha nwere nʼike.”
All my bones, shall say—O Yahweh, who is like unto thee? Rescuing the oppressed from one stronger than he, Yea the oppressed and the needy, from their spoiler.
11 Ndị akaebe, ndị kwara obi nʼazụ na-apụkwute m; ha na-ebo m ebubo ihe ndị m na-anụbeghị ihe banyere ha na mbụ.
There rise up witnesses helping forward violence and wrong, What I know not, they demand of me:
12 Ana m emere ha ihe ọma, ma ha na-akwụghachi m ihe ọjọọ. Nke a na-ewute mmụọ m ruo nʼọnwụ.
They repay me evil for good, Bereaving my soul.
13 Mgbe ha na-arịa ọrịa, eyiri m akwa mkpe, site na ibu ọnụ weda onwe m nʼala. Mgbe ekpere m lọghachikwutere m na-enweghị ọsịsa,
But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I humbled, with fasting, my soul, though, my prayer, unto mine own bosom, might return:
14 ejegharịrị m nʼọnọdụ iru ụjụ, dịka a ga-asị na ọ bụ nwanne m, maọbụ enyi m, jegharịakwa nʼobi ọjọọ dịka a ga-asị na ọ bụ nne m na-arịa ọrịa ahụ.
Like as for a friend, like as for a brother of mine own, I walked to and fro, As though mourning for a mother, I gloomily bowed myself down.
15 Ma mgbe m dahiere, ha zukọtara na-aṅụrị ọṅụ; mgbe m na-adịghị ele anya, ha biliri imegide m. Ha na-ekwulu m na-esepụghị aka.
But, in mine overthrow, have they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together, —There gathered themselves together against me foolish men, and I knew it not, They have torn in pieces, and not been silent;
16 Dịka ndị ajọ omume, ha na-akwa m emo nʼiwe, na-atakwara m ikikere eze ha.
Amidst profane praters of perversion, have they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
17 O Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụ ruo ole mgbe ka ị ga-anọ na-ele ihe na-eme? Gbapụta ndụ m site na mbibi ha niile, site nʼaka ụmụ ọdụm ndị a, gbapụta ndụ m dị oke ọnụahịa.
My Lord! how long wilt thou look on? Bring back my soul out of their raging, from among lions, my solitary self.
18 Aga m enye gị ekele nʼihu ọha mmadụ dị ukwuu, nʼetiti ọha kachasị ibe ya dị ukwuu, ka m ga-anọ too gị.
I will thank thee, in the midst of a great convocation, —In the midst of a mighty people, will I praise thee.
19 Ekwekwala ka ndị ahụ bụ ndị iro m, mgbe o nweghị ihe m mere ha, chịa m ọchị; ekwekwala ka ndị ahụ kpọrọ m asị nʼihi iro, mgbe o nweghị ihe m mere ha nwee izuike.
Let not them who are falsely my foes rejoice over me, As for them who hate me without cause, let them not wink the eye!
20 Nʼihi na ọ bụghị okwu udo ka ha na-ekwu, kama ha na-echepụta ebubo ụgha dị iche iche megide ndị ahụ na-anọrọ onwe ha jụụ nʼime ala ahụ.
For, no salvation, will they utter, —But, against the quiet of the land, deceitful things, do they devise;
21 Nʼiju anya, ha na-ele m anya na-eti mkpu na-asị, “Ewoo! Ewoo! Anya anyị abụọ ka anyị ji hụ ya.”
Yea they have opened wide against me their mouth, They have said, Aha! Aha! our own eye, hath seen!
22 O Onyenwe anyị, ị hụla nke a, agbakwala nkịtị; anọkwala m nʼebe dị anya, O Onyenwe anyị.
Thou hast seen, O Yahweh, do not keep silence! O My Lord! be not far from me:
23 Teta, bilie bụụrụ m onye mkpepụta m. Kpechitere m ọnụ m, Chineke m na onyenwe m.
Bestir thyself and wake up, to my vindication, O my God and My Lord!—to my plea:
24 O Onyenwe anyị Chineke m, kpepụta m nʼihi ezi omume gị; ekwekwala ka ha chịa m ọchị.
Vindicate me according to thy righteousness, O Yahweh, my God! And let them not rejoice over me:
25 Ekwekwala ka ha sị, “Ahaa, ọ dị ka anyị tụrụ anya ya!” Maọbụ sị, “Anyị eloola ya!”
Let them not say in their heart, Aha! to our mind! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up!
26 Mee ka ihere na ọgbaaghara bụrụ nke ndị na-achị m ọchị nʼime mkpagbu m; were ihere na nweda nʼala yinye ha dịka uwe, bụ ndị niile na-ebuli onwe ha elu imegide m.
Let them turn pale, and then at once blush, who are rejoicing at my misfortune, —Let them be clothed with shame and confusion, who are magnifying themselves against me.
27 Ka ndị niile mkpepụta m dị mma were obi ụtọ tie mkpu ọṅụ; ka ha na-asị mgbe niile, “Ka e bulie Onyenwe anyị elu, onye ọdịmma nke ohu ya na-amasị.”
Let them shout in triumph and rejoice, who are desiring my justification; And let them say continually, Yahweh be magnified, Who hath taken pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
28 Ire m ga-ekwu banyere ezi omume gị na otuto gị niile ogologo ụbọchị niile.
Mine own tongue also, shall softly utter thy righteousness, —All the day long, —thy praise!
