< Abụ Ọma 26 >

1 Abụ Ọma Devid. Onyenwe anyị, biko kpepụta m, nʼihi na ebiela m ndụ zuruoke; atụkwasịrị m Onyenwe anyị obi, na-eleghị anya nʼazụ.
“Of David.” Judge me, O Lord; for I have indeed walked in my integrity: and in the Lord have I trusted; I shall not slip.
2 Tulee m, O Onyenwe anyị, ma nwakwaa m, nyochaa obi m na echiche m.
Try me, O Lord, and prove me; purify my reins and my heart.
3 Nʼihi na ejirila m ịhụnanya gị mere ihe nlere anya nye onwe m. Ana m ejegharịkwa nʼime eziokwu gị.
For thy kindness is before my eyes; and I have walked in thy truth.
4 Mụ na ndị na-aghọ aghụghọ adịghị enwe mmekọ ọbụla. Otu a kwa, nnwekọ ọbụla adịghịkwa nʼetiti mụ na ndị ihu abụọ.
I have not sat with men of falsehood, and with dissemblers will I not enter [in communion].
5 Akpọrọ m otu ndị na-emebi iwu asị. Mụ na ndị ajọ omume agaghị anọkọkwa.
I have hated the assemblage of evil-doers; and with the wicked will I not sit.
6 Ana m asacha aka m abụọ nʼọnọdụ emeghị ihe ọjọọ, na-eje ozi nʼebe ịchụ aja gị ife gị ofufe, o Onyenwe anyị.
I will wash in innocency my hands, and I will compass thy altar, O Lord:
7 Ana m abụkwa abụ ekele, jiri iti mkpu na-ekwusa otuto gị, na ọrụ ebube gị niile.
That I may publish with a loud voice [my] thanksgiving, and relate all thy wondrous deeds.
8 O Onyenwe anyị, ahụrụ m ụlọ obibi gị nʼanya, ụlọ ahụ ebe ebube gị na-adịgide nʼime ya.
Lord, I love the site of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.
9 Ebibikọtala mụ na ndị mmehie, ewezugakọtala ndụ m na nke ndị na-awụfu ọbara,
Take not away with sinners my soul, nor with men of blood my life;
10 ndị aka ha jupụtara nʼatụmatụ ọjọọ, aka nri ha jupụtakwara na ngarị.
In whose hands are wicked devices, and whose right hand is full of bribes.
11 Ma mụ onwe m na-ebi ndụ zuruoke; gbapụta m ma meere m ebere.
But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: redeem me, and be gracious unto me.
12 Ụkwụ m na-eguzo nʼala dị larịị; aga m eto Onyenwe anyị nʼetiti ọha mmadụ.
My foot standeth on an even place: in assemblies will I bless the Lord.
