1 Abụ Ọma Devid. Onyenwe anyị, onye pụrụ ịnọgide nʼụlọnsọ ukwu gị? Onye pụrụ ibi nʼugwu nsọ gị?
[A Psalm by David.] LORD, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy mountain?
2 Onye na-ebi ndụ nke na-enweghị ịta ụta, onye na-arụ ọrụ ezi omume, onye na-ekwu eziokwu site nʼobi ya.
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart.
3 Onye jụrụ ikwutọsị ndị ọzọ, onye na-adịghị eme onye agbataobi ya ihe ọjọọ, na onye na-adịghị ekwulu mmadụ ibe ya,
He doesn't slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor lifts up an insult against his neighbor.
4 onye na-eleda onye ajọ omume anya, ma na-asọpụrụ ndị ahụ na-atụ egwu Onyenwe anyị, onye na-adịghị agbanwe nkwa ọbụla o kwere, ọ bụladị mgbe nkwa ahụ na-emegide ya,
In his eyes a vile man is despised, but he honors those who fear the LORD. He keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn't change it.
5 onye na-agbazinye mmadụ ego na-anaghị ụma, onye na-adịghị a nara ngarị imegide onye aka ya dị ọcha. Onye na-eme ihe ndị a agaghị ama jijiji nʼọnọdụ ya, mgbe ọbụla.
He doesn't lend out his money for interest, nor take a bribe against the innocent. The one who does these things will never be upended.
