1 Abụ Ọma Devid. Onyenwe anyị, onye pụrụ ịnọgide nʼụlọnsọ ukwu gị? Onye pụrụ ibi nʼugwu nsọ gị?
A psalm of David. Who may enter your sanctuary, Lord? Who may come into your presence on your holy mountain?
2 Onye na-ebi ndụ nke na-enweghị ịta ụta, onye na-arụ ọrụ ezi omume, onye na-ekwu eziokwu site nʼobi ya.
Those who live without fault and do what is right, those who sincerely tell the truth.
3 Onye jụrụ ikwutọsị ndị ọzọ, onye na-adịghị eme onye agbataobi ya ihe ọjọọ, na onye na-adịghị ekwulu mmadụ ibe ya,
They do not slander, do not treat their neighbors badly, do not gossip about people they know.
4 onye na-eleda onye ajọ omume anya, ma na-asọpụrụ ndị ahụ na-atụ egwu Onyenwe anyị, onye na-adịghị agbanwe nkwa ọbụla o kwere, ọ bụladị mgbe nkwa ahụ na-emegide ya,
They reject people the Lord has rejected, but honor those who follow the Lord. They keep their promises even when it's hard to do. They don't change their minds.
5 onye na-agbazinye mmadụ ego na-anaghị ụma, onye na-adịghị a nara ngarị imegide onye aka ya dị ọcha. Onye na-eme ihe ndị a agaghị ama jijiji nʼọnọdụ ya, mgbe ọbụla.
They lend money without charging interest. They don't take bribes to testify against the innocent. Those who act like this will never ever fall.
