< Abụ Ọma 149 >
1 Toonu Onyenwe anyị! Bụkuonụ Onyenwe anyị abụ ọhụrụ. Bụọnụ abụ ito ya nʼetiti ndị nsọ ya.
Hallelujah. Sing unto the Lord a new song, his praise in the congregation of the pious.
2 Ka Izrel ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼime onye kere ha; ka ndị bi na Zayọn nwee obi ụtọ nʼime Eze ha.
Let Israel rejoice in his Maker: let the children of Zion exult in their King.
3 Ka ha jiri ite egwu too aha ya ka ha jiri ọyọ na ụbọ akwara kpọọrọ ya egwu.
Let them praise his name in the dance: with the timbrel and harp let them sing praises unto him.
4 Nʼihi na ihe banyere ndị ya na-atọ Onyenwe anyị ụtọ. Ọ na-eji nzọpụta kpukwasị ndị dị umeala nʼobi nʼisi dịka okpueze.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people; he will adorn the meek with salvation.
5 Ka ndị nsọ ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼime nsọpụrụ a, bụkwaa abụ nʼihi ọṅụ nʼelu ihe ndina ha.
Let the pious be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their couches.
6 Ka otuto Chineke dịrị nʼọnụ ha, ka mma agha ihu abụọ dịrịkwa nʼaka ha,
The exalted praises of God are in their mouth, and a two-edged sword is in their hand;
7 iji bọọrọ mba niile ọbọ taakwa ndị niile dị iche iche ahụhụ,
To execute vengeance on the nations, and chastisements on the people:
8 iji mkpọrọ igwe kee ndị eze ha na ndị ha a na-asọpụrụ agbụ igwe,
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron:
9 imezu ihe ahụ e kpebiri, depụtakwa megide ha. Nke a bụ nsọpụrụ dịrị ndị nsọ ya. Toonu Onyenwe anyị.
To execute upon them the judgment [which is] written: this is an honor for all his pious servants. Hallelujah.
