< Abụ Ọma 139 >
1 Abụ nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Abụ Ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, ị nyochaala m, ị makwaara m nke ọma
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David. O Lord, thou hast tried me and knowen me.
2 Ị maara mgbe m na-anọdụ ala na mgbe m na-eguzo ọtọ; site nʼebe dị anya, ị na-aghọta echiche obi m niile.
Thou knowest my sitting and my rising: thou vnderstandest my thought afarre off.
3 Ị na-ahụzu ọpụpụ m na ndina ala m; ị mazukwara ụzọ m niile.
Thou compassest my pathes, and my lying downe, and art accustomed to all my wayes.
4 O Onyenwe anyị, ị maara ihe m gaje ikwu tupu m kwuo ya.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but loe, thou knowest it wholy, O Lord.
5 Ị na-anọ m nʼihu, ma na-esokwa m nʼazụ, ị tụkwasịla m aka gị.
Thou holdest mee straite behinde and before, and layest thine hand vpon me.
6 Ihe ọmụma dị otu a dị oke omimi nye m, ọ dịkwa elu apụghị m iru ya.
Thy knowledge is too wonderfull for mee: it is so high that I cannot attaine vnto it.
7 Ebee ka m ga-ezo onwe m si otu a zonarị Mmụọ gị? Ebeekwa ka m pụrụ ịgbaga ka m si nʼihu gị zoo onwe m?
Whither shall I goe from thy Spirite? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 Ọ bụrụ na m arịgoro nʼeluigwe ị nọ nʼebe ahụ. Ọ bụrụkwa na m arịda zoo onwe m nʼala mmụọ, ị nọkwa nʼebe ahụ. (Sheol )
If I ascende into heauen, thou art there: if I lye downe in hell, thou art there. (Sheol )
9 Ọ bụrụ na m efepụ nʼisi ụtụtụ dịka nwa nnụnụ, felagaa nʼebe dị nnọọ anya nke oke osimiri,
Let mee take the winges of the morning, and dwell in the vttermost parts of the sea:
10 ọ bụladị nʼebe ahụ ka aka gị ga na-edu m aka nri gị ga-ejidesi m ike.
Yet thither shall thine hand leade me, and thy right hand holde me.
11 Ọ bụrụ na m asị, “Nʼezie, ọchịchịrị ga-ekpuchi m ìhè ga-aghọ abalị gbaa m gburugburu.”
If I say, Yet the darkenes shall hide me, euen the night shalbe light about me.
12 Ọ bụladị ọchịchịrị agaghị abụ ọchịchịrị nʼebe ị nọ; abalị ga-enye ìhè dịka ehihie, nʼihi na ọchịchịrị dị ka ìhè nʼebe ị nọ.
Yea, the darkenes hideth not from thee: but the night shineth as the day: the darkenes and light are both alike.
13 Ọ bụ gị kpụrụ akụkụ niile dị m nʼahụ. Ọ bụkwa gị jikọtara ha niile ka ha bụrụ otu mmadụ nʼime afọ nne m.
For thou hast possessed my reines: thou hast couered me in my mothers wombe.
14 Ana m eto gị nʼihi na abụ m onye e sitere nʼoke egwu na ebube kee; ọrụ gị niile dị ebube; amaara m nke a nke ọma.
I will praise thee, for I am fearefully and wonderously made: marueilous are thy workes, and my soule knoweth it well.
15 Ụdịdị m abụghị ihe zoro ezo nʼebe ị nọ mgbe a kpụrụ m nʼebe nzuzo ahụ, mgbe a kpakọtara m nʼebe omimi nke ụwa.
My bones are not hid from thee, though I was made in a secret place, and facioned beneath in the earth.
16 Anya gị abụọ hụrụ ahụ m mgbe ọ na-enweghị ụdịdị ọbụla. E dere ụbọchị niile a kwadoro m nʼime akwụkwọ gị tupu otu nʼime ha adịrị.
Thine eyes did see me, when I was without forme: for in thy booke were all things written, which in continuance were facioned, when there was none of them before.
17 Lee ka echiche ị na-eche banyere m si dị oke ọnụahịa, o Chineke! Leekwa ka ha si dị ukwuu.
Howe deare therefore are thy thoughtes vnto me, O God! how great is ye summe of them!
18 Ọ bụrụ na m agụọ ha ọnụ, ha ga-adị ukwuu karịa ọnụọgụgụ aja dị nʼala. Mgbe m tetara, mụ na gị ka nọ.
If I should count them, they are moe then the sand: when I wake, I am still with thee.
19 O Chineke, a sịkwarị na ị ga-ala ndị ajọ omume niile nʼiyi! Sitenụ nʼebe m nọ pụọ, unu ndị na-akwafu ọbara!
Oh that thou wouldest slay, O God, the wicked and bloody men, to whom I say, Depart ye from mee:
20 Site nʼechiche ọjọọ, ha na-ekwu okwu banyere gị; ndị iro gị na-ekwutọ aha gị.
Which speake wickedly of thee, and being thine enemies are lifted vp in vaine.
21 O Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụ na m akpọghị ha asị bụ ndị kpọrọ gị asị, na-asọkwa ndị na-enupu isi megide gị oyi?
Doe not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and doe not I earnestly contend with those that rise vp against thee?
22 Ọ bụ naanị ịkpọ asị ka m nwere nʼebe ha nọ? Ana m agụnye ha dịka ndị iro m.
I hate them with an vnfained hatred, as they were mine vtter enemies.
23 O Chineke, nyochaa m, mara obi m. Nwaa m, matakwa echiche uche m niile.
Try mee, O God, and knowe mine heart: prooue me and know my thoughtes,
24 Chọpụta ma o nwere ihe ọjọọ dị nʼime m, ma duo m nʼụzọ ebighị ebi.
And consider if there be any way of wickednes in me, and leade me in the way for euer.
