1 Toonu Onyenwe anyị. Toonu aha Onyenwe anyị, toonu ya, unu ndị ohu Onyenwe anyị niile,
Hallelujah. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord;
2 unu ndị na-eje ozi nʼime ụlọ Onyenwe anyị, nʼime ogige ụlọ Chineke anyị.
Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Toonu Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị dị mma; bụkuo aha ya abụ otuto, nʼihi na ọ bụ ihe ziri ezi.
Hallelujah; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is lovely.
4 Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ahọpụtala Jekọb nye onwe ya, ọ họpụtala Izrel ka ọ bụrụ ihe oke ọnụahịa nke aka ya.
For Jacob hath the Lord chosen unto himself, Israel, as his peculiar treasure.
5 Amaara m na Onyenwe anyị dị ukwuu, na Onyenwe anyị dị ukwuu karịa chi niile.
For I well know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Onyenwe anyị na-eme ihe ọbụla masịrị ya nʼeluigwe na elu ụwa na nʼoke osimiri na nʼime ogbu mmiri niile.
Whatsoever the Lord willeth, hath he done in the heavens, and on the earth, in the seas, and in all the deeps.
7 Ọ bụ ya na-eme ka igwe ojii na-apụta site nʼakụkụ niile nke ụwa. Ọ bụkwa ya na-ezite amụma nke na-eweta mmiri ozuzo. Ọ na-ewepụtakwa ifufe site nʼụlọ ifufe ya niile.
He causeth clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with the rain; he bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 O tigburu ụmụ niile e buru ụzọ mụọ nʼala Ijipt, ụmụ mmadụ buru ụzọ mụọ na ụmụ anụ ụlọ e buru ụzọ mụọ.
[He it is] who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and of cattle;
9 O zipụrụ ihe ịrịbama ya dị iche iche na ọrụ ebube ya niile nʼetiti unu, o Ijipt, megide Fero na ndị niile na-ejere ya ozi.
Who sent signs and wonderful tokens into the midst of thee, O Egypt, against Pharaoh, and against all his servants;
10 O tigburu ọtụtụ mba dị ukwuu nʼọnụọgụgụ, tigbukwaa ndị eze ha, ndị dị ike nʼagha.
Who smote many nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 Ụfọdụ nʼime ha bụ Saịhọn, eze ndị Amọrait, na Ọg eze Bashan, na ndị eze niile dị na Kenan.
Sichon the king of the Emorites, and 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12 O weere ala ndị obodo ahụ niile nye ndị ya, nye ya ụmụ Izrel dịka ihe nketa ha.
And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance unto Israel his people.
13 O Onyenwe anyị, aha gị na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi a maara aha gị ruo ọgbọ niile.
O Lord, thy name [endureth] for ever: O Lord, thy memorial is throughout all generations.
14 Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ga-ekpepụta ndị ya. Ọ ga-enwekwa ọmịiko nʼahụ ndị ohu ya.
For the Lord will espouse the cause of his people, and concerning his servants will he bethink himself.
15 Chi ndị mba ọzọ bụ arụsị e jiri aka kpụọ, nke e ji ọlaọcha na ọlaedo kpụọ.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men.
16 Ha nwere ọnụ ma ha adịghị ekwu okwu, ha nwere anya ma ha adịghị ahụ ụzọ.
Mouths they have, but they speak not; eyes they have, but they see not;
17 Ha nwere ntị ma ha adịghị anụ ihe, ọ dịkwaghị nkuume dị nʼime ọnụ ha.
Ears they have, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouth.
18 Ndị na-eme ha ga-adị ka ha. Ọ bụkwa otu a ka ndị na-atụkwasị ha obi ga-adị.
Like them are those that make them, every one that trusteth in them.
19 Ndị Izrel, toonu Onyenwe anyị. Unu ndị ụlọ Erọn, toonu Onyenwe anyị.
O house of Israel, bless ye the Lord; O house of Aaron, bless ye the Lord.
20 Unu ndị ụlọ Livayị, toonu Onyenwe anyị; unu ndị na-atụ egwu ya, toonu Onyenwe anyị.
O house of Levi, bless ye the Lord; ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
21 Ka otuto dịrị Onyenwe anyị site na Zayọn, nye onye ahụ na-ebi na Jerusalem. Toonu Onyenwe anyị.
Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, even he that resideth at Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
