< Abụ Ọma 118 >
1 Keleenụ Onyenwe anyị nʼihi na ọ dị mma; ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
2 Ka ụmụ Izrel kwupụta nʼonwe ha sị, “Ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
Let now the house of Israel say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
3 Ka ndị ezinaụlọ Erọn kwuokwa sị, “Ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
Let now the house of Aaron say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
4 Ka ndị niile na-atụ egwu Onyenwe anyị kwuo sị, “Ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
Let now all that fear the Lord say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
5 Nʼọnọdụ oke ihe mgbu m, akpọkuru m Onyenwe anyị, ọ zara m, mee ka m nwere onwe m.
I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he hearkened to me, [so as to bring me] into a wide place.
6 Onyenwe anyị nọnyeere m, agaghị m atụ egwu. Gịnị ka mmadụ pụrụ ime m?
The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
7 Onyenwe anyị nọnyere m; ọ bụ onye na-enyere m aka. Aga m ele ndị iro m anya na mmeri.
The Lord is my helper; and I shall see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
8 Ọ kachasị mma ịgbaba nʼime Onyenwe anyị karịa ịtụkwasị ụmụ mmadụ obi.
[It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
9 Ọ kachasị mma ịgbaba nʼime Onyenwe anyị karịa ịtụkwasị ndị amara aha ha obi.
[It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
10 Mba niile gbara m gburugburu ma site nʼaha Onyenwe anyị aga m ala ha nʼiyi.
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
11 Ha gbara m gburugburu, ma site nʼaha Onyenwe anyị ka m na-egbuda ha.
They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
12 Ha gbara m gburugburu dịka aṅụ, ma e menyụọla ha dịka ogwu na-ere ọkụ; site nʼaha Onyenwe anyị, ka m na-egbuda ha.
They compassed me about as bees [do] a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
13 Akwaghachiri m azụ, agaara m ada, ma Onyenwe anyị nyere m aka.
I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
14 Onyenwe anyị bụ ike m na abụ m; ọ ghọọla nzọpụta m.
The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
15 Olu iti mkpu ọṅụ na mmeri na-ada nʼime ụlọ ikwu ndị ezi omume: “Aka nri Onyenwe anyị emeela ọtụtụ ihe dị ukwuu!
The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
16 Aka nri Onyenwe anyị bụ ihe e weliri elu; aka nri Onyenwe anyị emeela ọtụtụ ihe dị ukwuu!”
The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
17 Agaghị m anwụ, kama aga m adị ndụ kwusaara ndị ọzọ ọrụ ebube Onyenwe anyị rụrụ.
I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
18 Onyenwe anyị tara m ahụhụ nke ukwuu, ma o nyefeeghị m nʼaka ọnwụ.
The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
19 Megheere m ọnụ ụzọ ama nke ezi omume; aga m abanye nye Onyenwe anyị ekele.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
20 Nke a bụ ọnụ ụzọ ụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị, ebe ndị ezi omume ga-esite na ya banye.
This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
21 Aga m enye gị ekele, nʼihi na ị zara m; ị ghọọla nzọpụta m.
I will give thanks to thee; because thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 Nkume ahụ ndị na-ewu ụlọ jụrụ, aghọọla nkume isi ntọala ụlọ;
The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
23 nke a bụ ọrụ aka Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụkwa ihe ịtụnanya nʼanya anyị.
This has been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
24 Nke a bụ ụbọchị Onyenwe anyị anyị mere, ka anyị ṅụrịa ọṅụ, nweekwa obi ụtọ nʼime ya.
This is the day which the Lord has made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
25 O Onyenwe anyị, zọpụta anyị; o Onyenwe anyị, mee ka ihe gaara anyị nke ọma.
O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
26 Onye a gọziri agọzi ka onye ahụ bụ, nke na-abịa nʼaha Onyenwe anyị. Anyị sitere nʼụlọ Onyenwe anyị na-agọzi gị.
Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke, ọ bụ ya mere ka ìhè ya mụkwasị anyị. Chịrị igu nkwụ nʼaka gị, soro ndị ji ọṅụ bata nʼogige Chineke bịaruo nʼebe ịchụ aja.
God is the Lord, and he has shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick [branches, binding the victims] even to the horns of the altar.
28 Ị bụ Chineke m, aga m eto gị; ị bụ Chineke m, aga m ebuli gị elu.
Thou art my God, and I will give thee thanks: thou art my God, and I will exalt thee. I will give thanks to thee, for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
29 Keleenụ Onyenwe anyị nʼihi na ọ dị mma, ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
