2 Juda ghọrọ ebe nsọ Chineke, Izrel ghọrọ ala ọ na-achị.
Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
3 Osimiri hụrụ ya, gbaa ọsọ, osimiri Jọdan hụkwara ya chigharịa laa azụ;
The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4 Ugwu ukwu niile wụliri elu dịka ebule; ugwu nta niile wụlikwara elu dịka ụmụ atụrụ.
The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
5 Gịnị mere gị oke osimiri, i ji na-agba ọsọ? Osimiri Jọdan, gịnị na-eme gị i ji chigharịa laa azụ?
What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
6 Gịnị na-eme unu, ugwu ukwu niile unu ji na-awụli elu dịka ụmụ ebule? Gịnị na-emekwa unu, ugwu nta niile, unu ji na-awụli elu dịka ụmụ atụrụ?
Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Ka ụwa niile maa jijiji nʼihu Onyenwe anyị, ka ọ maakwa jijiji nʼihu Chineke nke Jekọb,
Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
