1 Toonu Onyenwe anyị! Toonu Onyenwe anyị unu ndị ohu ya. Toonu aha Onyenwe anyị.
Alleluia. Praise the Lord, you servants [of his], praise, the name of the Lord.
2 Ka aha Onyenwe anyị bụrụ ihe a gọziri agọzi site ugbu a ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
Let the name of the Lord be blessed, from this present time and for ever.
3 Site nʼọwụwa anyanwụ ruo nʼọdịda ya, aha Onyenwe anyị ga-abụ ihe a na-eto eto.
From the rising of the sun to his setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
4 Onyenwe anyị dị elu karịa mba niile, ebube ya dị elu karịa eluigwe.
The Lord is high above all the nations; his glory is above the heavens.
5 Onye dị ka Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị, onye nọkwasịrị ocheeze nʼebe dị elu,
Who is as the Lord our God? who dwells in the high places,
6 onye na-eme onwe ya ka ọ dị ala ilekwasị eluigwe na ụwa anya?
and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth:
7 Ọ na-esi nʼuzuzu bulie ogbenye elu sitekwa nʼebe ikpofu ahịhịa bulie onye nọ na mkpa elu;
who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill;
8 ọ na-eme ka ya na ụmụ eze ndị ikom nọkọọ, ọ na-eme ka o soro ndị a maara aha ha nʼetiti ụmụ mmadụ nọkọọ.
to set him with princes, [even] with the princes of his people:
9 Ọ na-eme ka nwanyị aga biri nʼụlọ nke ya dịka nne mụrụ ọtụtụ ụmụ ọṅụ juru obi. Toonu Onyenwe anyị.
who settles the barren [woman] in a house, [as] a mother rejoicing over children.
