< Abụ Ọma 108 >
1 Abụ, Abụ Ọma Devid. Obi m dị njikere, o Chineke; aga m eji mkpụrụobi m niile bụọ abụ ma kụkwaa egwu.
A Song. A Psalm by David. My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.
2 Teta! Ụbọ akwara na une! Aga m akpọte chi ọbụbọ.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
3 Aga m eto gị, O Onyenwe anyị, nʼetiti mba niile; aga m abụ abụ banyere gị nʼetiti ndị niile dị iche iche.
I will give thanks to you, LORD, amongst the nations. I will sing praises to you amongst the peoples.
4 Nʼihi na ịhụnanya gị dị ukwuu karịa eluigwe; ikwesi ntụkwasị obi gị na-erukwa mbara eluigwe.
For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
5 Ka e bulie gị elu, o Chineke, karịa eluigwe niile, ka ebube gị dị nʼelu ụwa niile.
Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.
6 Were aka nri gị zọpụta anyị ma nyere anyị aka, ka a gbapụta ndị ị hụrụ nʼanya.
That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
7 Chineke esitela nʼịdị nsọ ya kwuo, sị, “Nʼọnọdụ ọṅụ nke mmeri, aga m ekesa Shekem, tụkwaa Ndagwurugwu Sukọt nʼihe ọtụtụ, nyepụ ya.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
8 Gilead bụ nke m, Manase bụkwa nke m; Ifrem bụ okpu igwe m, Juda bụ mkpara eze m.
Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my sceptre.
9 Moab bụ efere ịkwọ aka m, aga m atụsa akpụkpọụkwụ m nʼelu Edọm nʼelu isi Filistia, ana m eti mkpu mmeri.”
Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”
10 Onye ga-akpọrọ m gaa nʼobodo e wusiri ike? Onye ga-edu m gaa Edọm?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Ọ bụghị gị, o Chineke? Gị onye jụrụ anyị, onye na-adịghị esokwa ndị agha anyị aga agha?
Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.
12 Nyere anyị aka ka anyị pụọ nʼaka ndị iro, nʼihi na inyeaka mmadụ bụ ihe efu.
Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
13 Site na Chineke, anyị ga-enwe mmeri, ọ ga-azọpịa ndị iro anyị niile nʼala.
Through God, we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our enemies.
