1 Abụ Ọma Devid. Mkpụrụobi m, too Onyenwe anyị; ka ihe niile dị nʼime m too aha nsọ ya.
By David. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And all my inward parts — His Holy Name.
2 Mkpụrụobi m, too Onyenwe anyị; echefukwala mmeso ọma ya niile,
Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And forget not all His benefits,
3 ọ bụ ya na-agbaghara gị mmehie gị niile; na-agwọkwa gị ọrịa gị niile,
Who is forgiving all thine iniquities, Who is healing all thy diseases,
4 onye na-agbapụta ndụ gị site nʼolulu werekwa ịhụnanya na ọmịiko kpukwasị gị dịka okpueze,
Who is redeeming from destruction thy life, Who is crowning thee — kindness and mercies,
5 onye na-eji ezi ihe na-emejupụta ọchịchọ gị niile, ka oge okorobịa gị bụrụ ihe a gbanwere dịka nke ugo.
Who is satisfying with good thy desire, Renew itself as an eagle doth thy youth.
6 Onyenwe anyị na-arụ ọrụ ezi omume, na-ekpe ikpe ziri ezi nye ndị a na-emegbu emegbu.
Jehovah is doing righteousness and judgments For all the oppressed.
7 O mere ka Mosis mata ụzọ ya, mekwaa ka ụmụ Izrel mara ọrụ ya dị iche iche:
He maketh known His ways to Moses, To the sons of Israel His acts.
8 Onyenwe anyị nwere obi ọmịiko na-emekwa amara. Ọ dịghị ewe iwe ọsịịsọ, o jupụtara nʼịhụnanya.
Merciful and gracious [is] Jehovah, Slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.
9 Iwe ya anaghị adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi, ọ bụghị oge niile ka ọ na-anọgide na-ata mmadụ ụta;
Not for ever doth He strive, Nor to the age doth He watch.
10 ọ bụghị dịka mmehie anyị si dị ka ọ na-emeso anyị, ọ dịghị akwụghachi anyị dịka ajọ omume anyị si dị.
Not according to our sins hath He done to us, Nor according to our iniquities Hath He conferred benefits upon us.
11 Nʼihi na dịka eluigwe si dị elu karịa ụwa, otu a ka ịhụnanya ya si dị ukwuu nʼebe ndị na-atụ egwu ya nọ.
For, as the height of the heavens [is] above the earth, His kindness hath been mighty over those fearing Him.
12 Dịka ọwụwa anyanwụ si dị anya, site nʼọdịda anyanwụ, otu a ka o sirila mee ka mmehie anyị niile dịrị anya site nʼebe anyị nọ.
As the distance of east from west He hath put far from us our transgressions.
13 Dịka nna si enwe obi ebere nʼebe ụmụ ya nọ, otu a ka Onyenwe anyị si enwe obi ebere nʼebe ndị na-atụ egwu ya nọ,
As a father hath mercy on sons, Jehovah hath mercy on those fearing Him.
14 nʼihi na ya onwe ya maara otu e si kpụọ anyị, ọ na-echeta na anyị bụ aja.
For He hath known our frame, Remembering that we [are] dust.
15 Ebe mmadụ nọ, ụbọchị ya niile dị ka ahịhịa, ọ na-etopụta, na-awasa dịka okoko osisi ọhịa,
Mortal man! as grass [are] his days, As a flower of the field so he flourisheth;
16 ifufe na-efesi ya ike, ọ na-adakwa, adịghị echetakwa ya nʼọnọdụ mbụ ya.
For a wind hath passed over it, and it is not, And its place doth not discern it any more.
17 Ma ịhụnanya Onyenwe anyị na-adịgide site nʼebighị ebi ruo ebighị ebi nʼetiti ndị na-atụ egwu ya. Ezi omume ya na-adịgidekwara ụmụ ụmụ ha,
And the kindness of Jehovah [Is] from age even unto age on those fearing Him, And His righteousness to sons' sons,
18 nye ndị ahụ niile na-edebe ọgbụgba ndụ ya na ndị na-echeta irubere ụkpụrụ ya isi.
To those keeping His covenant, And to those remembering His precepts to do them.
19 Onyenwe anyị emeela ka ocheeze ya guzosie ike nʼeluigwe, alaeze ya na-achị ihe niile.
Jehovah in the heavens Hath established His throne, And His kingdom over all hath ruled.
20 Toonu Onyenwe anyị, unu ndị mmụọ ozi ya, unu ndị dị ike ndị na-eme ihe ọ chọrọ, na-erubere okwu ya isi.
Bless Jehovah, ye His messengers, Mighty in power — doing His word, To hearken to the voice of His Word.
21 Toonu Onyenwe anyị unu usuu ndị agha ya niile; unu ndị na-ejere ya ozi, ndị na-eme uche ya.
Bless Jehovah, all ye His hosts, His ministers — doing His pleasure.
22 Toonu Onyenwe anyị, ọrụ aka ya niile nʼebe ọbụla ọ na-achị. Mkpụrụobi m, too Onyenwe anyị.
Bless Jehovah, all ye His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah!
