< Abụ Ọma 102 >
1 Ekpere nke onye nọ na mmekpa ahụ na ọnọdụ ịda mba, na-ekwupụta otu o si dịrị ya nʼihu Onyenwe anyị. Nụrụ ekpere m, O Onyenwe anyị; ka ịkwa akwa m maka inyeaka ruo gị ntị.
“A prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out before the Lord his complaint.” O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come unto thee.
2 Ezonarịla m ihu gị nʼụbọchị nsogbu m. Gee ntị nʼekpere m, zakwaa m ngwangwa.
Hide not thy face from me on the day when I am distressed; incline unto me thy ear; on the day when I call, answer me speedily.
3 Nʼihi na ụbọchị m niile na-agabiga, dịka anwụrụ ọkụ; ọkpụkpụ m niile dịkwa ka ọlọkọ ọkụ.
For my days vanish in smoke, and my bones are burning like a hearth.
4 Mkpụrụobi m etiwaala abụọ na-achanwụkwa dịka ahịhịa; ana m echefu iri nri m.
Struck [by heat] like the herb and dried up is my heart; for I forget to eat my bread.
5 Nʼihi oke ịsụ ude m na-asụ, enwekwaghị m anụ ahụ ọbụla nʼahụ m. Abụ m naanị ọkpụkpụ.
Because of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my flesh.
6 Adị m ka ikwighịkwighị nke ọzara, a dị m ka ikwighịkwighị nʼetiti ebe dakpọsịrị adakpọsị.
I am like the pelican of the wilderness: I am become like the owl amid ruins.
7 Ana m amụ anya abalị niile; adị m ka nwa nnụnụ naanị ya bekwasịrị nʼelu ụlọ.
I watch, and I am become like a [night-]bird sitting alone upon the housetop.
8 Ụbọchị niile, ndị iro m na-eji m eme ihe ọchị; ndị na-akwa m emo na-eji aha m mere ihe ịbụ ọnụ.
All the day my enemies reproach me: they that mock me swear by me.
9 Nʼihi na ejirila m ntụ mere ihe oriri m, anya mmiri m na-agwakọta nʼiko ihe ọṅụṅụ m
For ashes do I eat like bread, and my drink I mingle with weeping;
10 nʼihi oke iwe gị, i bulitela m, ma tụpụ m nʼakụkụ.
Because of thy indignation and thy wrath; for thou hadst lifted me up, and hast cast me down.
11 Ụbọchị m niile dịka onyinyo nke a na-ahụ anya mgbe anwụ na-ada. Ana m akpọnwụ akpọnwụ, dịka ahịhịa.
My days are like a shadow that declineth; and like the herb I wither.
12 Ma gị Onyenwe anyị, na-anọgide nʼocheeze gị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi; aha gị ga-adịgide site nʼọgbọ ruo nʼọgbọ.
But thou, O Lord, wilt sit enthroned for ever; and thy memorial is unto all generations.
13 Ị ga-ebili nwee ọmịiko nʼebe Zayọn nọ, nʼihi na oge izi ya ihuọma eruola; oge ahụ a kara aka eruola.
Thou wilt indeed arise; thou wilt have mercy upon Zion; for it is time to favor her, for the appointed time is coming.
14 Nʼihi na nkume ya niile dị oke ọnụahịa nye ndị ohu gị; mgbe ha hụrụ uzuzu ya, ha na-emere ya ebere.
For thy servants hold dear her stones, and her very dust they cherish.
15 Mba niile ga-atụ egwu aha Onyenwe anyị, ndị eze niile nke ụwa ga-asọpụrụkwa ebube gị.
Then shall nations fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory:
16 Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ga-ewugharị Zayọn, ọ ga-apụta ihe nʼebube ya.
When the Lord shalt have built up Zion, he appeareth in his glory;
17 Ọ ga-aza ekpere ndị nọ na mkpa; ọ gaghị eleda arịrịọ ha anya.
[When] he hath regarded the prayer of the forsaken, and doth not despise their prayer.
18 Ka e depụta ihe ndị a maka ọgbọ nke dị nʼihu, ka ndị a na-amụbeghị nwee ike too Onyenwe anyị:
This shall be written down for the latest generation; and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.
19 “Onyenwe anyị sitere nʼebe nsọ ya dị elu ledata anya, o sitere nʼeluigwe ledata anya ya nʼụwa,
For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord hath cast from heaven his view to the earth:
20 ịnụ ịsụ ude nke ndị a tụrụ mkpọrọ na ịgbapụta ndị a mara ikpe ọnwụ.”
To hear the sighing of the prisoner; to loosen those that are doomed to death:
21 Nʼihi nke a, a ga-ekwuwapụta aha Onyenwe anyị na Zayọn; a ga-eto ya na Jerusalem,
That men may proclaim in Zion the name of the Lord, and his praise in Jerusalem;
22 mgbe mba niile na alaeze niile, ga-ezukọta nʼotu ebe, ife Onyenwe anyị ofufe.
When people are gathered together, and kingdoms, to serve the Lord.—
23 O meela ka ike gwụ m nʼoge ndụ m; o meela ka ndụ m dịrị mkpụmkpụ.
He hath weakened on the way my strength; he hath shortened my days.
24 Nʼihi ya, ekwuru m sị, “Anapụla m ndụ m, o Chineke m, ugbu a m ka dị ndụ; ị na-adịgide ndụ site nʼọgbọ ruo nʼọgbọ.
I will say, O my God! take me not away in the midst of my days: throughout all generations are thy years.
25 Na mmalite, ị tọrọ ntọala ụwa, eluigwe bụkwa ọrụ aka gị.
In olden times didst thou lay the foundations of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
These will indeed perish, but thou wilt ever exist: yea, all of them will wear out like a garment; as a vesture wilt thou change them, and they will be changed;
27 Ma gị onwe gị enweghị mgbanwe, ọnụọgụgụ afọ gị adịghị agwụkwa agwụ.
But thou art ever the same, and thy years will have no end.
28 Ụmụ ndị ohu gị ga-ebigide; ụmụ ụmụ ha ga-eguzosie ike nʼihu gị.”
The children of thy servants will dwell [securely], and their seed will be firmly established before thee.
