1 Abụ Ọma maka ikele ekele afọ ojuju. Tikusienụ Onyenwe anyị mkpu ọṅụ ike, ụwa niile.
Everyone in the world should shout joyfully to Yahweh!
2 Jiri obi ụtọ fee Onyenwe anyị ofufe; jirinụ ịbụ abụ ọṅụ bịa nʼihu ya
We should worship Yahweh gladly! We should come before him singing joyful songs.
3 Matanụ na Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke. Ọ bụ ya onwe ya kere anyị, ọ bụkwa ya nwe anyị, anyị bụ ndị ya, igwe atụrụ nke ọ na-azụ.
We should acknowledge/recognize that Yahweh is God; it is he who made us, [so] we belong to him. We are the people that he takes care of [MET]; we are [like] sheep that are cared for by their shepherd.
4 Jirinụ ekele banye nʼọnụ ụzọ ama ya jiri otuto baa nʼogige ya; keleenụ ya, tookwa aha ya.
Enter the gates [of his temple] thanking him; enter the courtyard [of the temple] singing songs to praise him! Thank him and praise him,
5 Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị dị mma, ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. Ruo ọgbọ niile ka ikwesi ntụkwasị obi ya na-adịgidekwa.
because Yahweh always [does] good [things for us]. He faithfully loves us, and (is faithful/is loyal to us forever/will never forsake us).
