Nehemaya 11
1 Ugbu a, ndịisi Izrel bi nʼobodo nsọ Jerusalem nʼoge a, ma e sitere nʼife nza họpụta otu ụzọ nʼime ụzọ iri nke ndị bi nʼobodo ndị ọzọ niile ka ha bịa biri na Jerusalem, bụ obodo nsọ ahụ, ebe ụzọ itoolu fọdụrụ bikwa nʼobodo nke aka ha.
And the princes of the people dwelt in Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the [other] cities.
2 Ndị mmadụ toro ndị niile jiri afọ ofufu họrọ ịbịa soro biri na Jerusalem.
And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 Ndị a bụ ndịisi ala ahụ a na-achị achị ndị bịara biri na Jerusalem (ma ọtụtụ ndị Izrel, ndị nchụaja, ndị Livayị, ndị na-eje ozi nʼụlọnsọ na ụmụ ndị na-ejere Solomọn ozi biiri nʼobodo Juda, onye ọbụla nʼihe onwunwe ya nʼobodo ha dị iche iche.
Now these are the chiefs of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, [to wit], Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon’s servants.

And in Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the children of Perez;
5 na Maaseia nwa Baruk, nwa Kol-Hoze, nwa Hazaia, nwa Adaya, nwa Joiarib, nwa Zekaraya, nwa onye Shilo.
and Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of the Shilonite.
6 Ọnụọgụgụ ụmụ Perez niile bi na Jerusalem dị narị anọ, na iri isii na asatọ. Ha bụ ndị ikom gbara dimkpa.
All the sons of Perez that dwelt in Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.
7 Ndị sitere nʼagbụrụ Benjamin bụ, Salu nwa Meshulam, nwa Joed, nwa Pedaia, nwa Kolaya, nwa Maaseia, nwa Itiel, nwa Jeshaya,
And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah.
8 ya na ndị na-eso ya bụ ụmụ Gabai na Salai. Ọnụọgụgụ ha dị narị itoolu na iri abụọ na asatọ.
And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
9 Juel nwa Zikri bụ onyeisi ha. Juda nwa Hasenua bụ onye na-eso ya, na onye na-achị akụkụ ọhụrụ nke obodo ahụ.
And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer; and Judah the son of Hassenuah was second over the city.
10 Ndị sitere nʼetiti ndị nchụaja bụ, Jedaya nwa Joiarib, na Jakin,
Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin,
11 na Seraya nwa Hilkaya, nwa Meshulam, nwa Zadọk, nwa Meraiot, nwa Ahitub onye na-elekọta ụlọ ukwuu Chineke.
Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God,
12 Ọnụọgụgụ ndị ikom ha na ha na-arụkọ ọrụ nʼụlọ ukwu ahụ bụ narị asatọ na iri abụọ na abụọ. Adaya, nwa Jeroham, nwa Pelalaya, nwa Amzi, nwa Zekaraya, nwa Pashua nwa Malkija,
and their brethren that did the work of the house, eight hundred twenty and two; and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah,
13 na ndị ikom bụ ndịisi ezinaụlọ ndị so ya rụọ ọrụ dị narị abụọ na iri anọ na abụọ nʼọnụọgụgụ, Amashaị nwa Azarel, nwa Ahazai, nwa Meshilemot, nwa Imea,
and his brethren, chiefs of fathers’ [houses], two hundred forty and two; and Amashsai the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,
14 na ndị otu ya nʼọrụ ndị bụkwa dimkpa, dị otu narị na iri abụọ na asatọ nʼọnụọgụgụ. Onyeisi ha bụ Zabdiel nwa Hagedolin.
and their brethren, mighty men of valor, a hundred twenty and eight; and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of Haggedolim.
15 Site na ndị Livayị: Shemaya nwa Hashub, nwa Azrikam, nwa Hashabaya, nwa Buni,
And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16 na Shabetai, na Jozabad, mmadụ abụọ na ndị ndu ndị Livayị, ndị ọ bụ ha na-arụ ọrụ dị nʼezi nke ụlọ Chineke;
and Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chiefs of the Levites, who had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God;
17 Matanaya nwa Mika, nwa Zabdi, nwa Asaf, bụ onyendu nke duru nʼekpere na ofufe ekele. Bakbukaya onye nke abụọ nʼetiti ndị otu ya, na Abda nwa Shamua, nwa Galal, nwa Jedutun, bụ ndị na-enyere ya aka.
and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, who was the chief to begin the thanksgiving in prayer, and Bakbukiah, the second among his brethren; and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
18 Ọnụọgụgụ ndị Livayị niile nọ na obodo nsọ ahụ dị narị abụọ na iri asatọ na anọ.
All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
19 Ndị nche ọnụ ụzọ ama, Akub, Talmon na ndị otu ha dị otu narị na iri asaa na abụọ nʼọnụọgụgụ, ha bụ ndị na-eche nche nʼọnụ ụzọ ama niile.
Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, that kept watch at the gates, were a hundred seventy and two.
20 Ndị fọdụrụ nʼIzrel, ha na ndị nchụaja, na ndị Livayị, nọ nʼobodo Juda niile, onye ọbụla nʼihe nketa ya.
And the residue of Israel, of the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
21 Ndị ahụ niile na-eje ozi nʼụlọnsọ bi nʼugwu Ofel. Ndịisi ha bụ Ziha na Gishpa.
But the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gishpa were over the Nethinim.
22 Onye na-elekọta ndị Livayị bi na Jerusalem bụ Uzi, nwa Bani, nwa Hashabaya, nwa Matanaya, nwa Matanaia, nwa Mika. Uzi bụ otu onye si nʼikwu Asaf, ndị ọbụ abụ maka ije ozi nke ụlọ Chineke.
The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, over the business of the house of God.
23 Eze họpụtara ndị ọbụ abụ nyekwa ha ọrụ ha kwesiri ịrụ ụbọchị niile.
For there was a commandment from the king concerning them, and a settled provision for the singers, as every day required.
24 Petahaya nwa Meshezabel, onye bụ otu nʼagbụrụ Zera, nwa Juda, bụ onyeozi eze banyere ihe niile gbasara ndị mmadụ ahụ.
And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
25 Obodo ụfọdụ ebe ndị Juda bi bụ ndị a: Kiriat Aba, Dibọn, Jekabzeel na obodo nta ndị dị ha gburugburu,
And as for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt in Kiriath-arba and the towns thereof, and in Dibon and the towns thereof, and in Jekabzeel and the villages thereof,
26 Jeshua, Molada, Bet-Pelet,
and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and Beth-pelet,
27 Haza Shual, Bịasheba na obodo ya niile,
and in Hazar-shual, and in Beer-sheba and the towns thereof,
28 Ziklag, Mekona na obodo ya niile,
and in Ziklag, and in Meconah and in the towns thereof,
29 En-Rimọn, Zora, Jamut,
and in En-rimmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth,
30 Zanoa, Adulam na obodo nta dị ha gburugburu, Lakish, ala dị ya gburugburu, Azeka na obodo ya niile. Nke a pụtara na ndị mmadụ bi site na Bịasheba ruo na Ndagwurugwu Hinom.
Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and the fields thereof, Azekah and the towns thereof. So they encamped from Beer-sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
31 Ndị agbụrụ Benjamin biri na Geba, Mikmash, Aija, Betel na obodo dị ya gburugburu,
The children of Benjamin also [dwelt] from Geba [onward], at Michmash and Aija, and at Beth-el and the towns thereof,
32 Anatot, Nob, Ananaya,
at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 Hazọ, Rema, Gitaim,
Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,
Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 Lod, Ono na Ge Harashim.
Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
36 Ụfọdụ nʼotu ndị Livayị, ndị ebe obibi ha dị na Juda ka e zigara isoro biri nʼebo Benjamin.
And of the Levites, certain courses in Judah [were joined] to Benjamin.
