< Maika 4 >
1 Nʼụbọchị ikpeazụ, ugwu nke ụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị, ga-abụ nke eguzobere dịka ugwu dị elu karịa ugwu niile, a ga-ebuli ya elu karịa ugwu nta niile, ndị dị iche iche ga-eruba nʼime ya dịka iyi.
But it shall come to pass, in the afterpart of the days, that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be, set up, as the head of the mountains, and, exalted, shall it be, above the hills, —and peoples, shall stream thereunto;
2 Ọtụtụ mba ga-abịa ma sịkwa, “Bịanụ, ka anyị rigoruo ugwu Onyenwe anyị, ka anyị gaa nʼụlọnsọ ukwu Chineke nke Jekọb. Ọ ga-akụziri anyị ụzọ ya niile, ka anyị nwe ike jee ije nʼokporoụzọ ya niile.” Iwu ga-esi na Zayọn pụta, okwu Onyenwe anyị ga-esitekwa na Jerusalem pụta.
Yea many nations, shall go, and say—come ye, and let us ascend unto the mountain of Yahweh, and unto the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us of his ways, and we may walk in his paths, —for, out of Zion, shall go forth a law, and, the word of Yahweh, out of Jerusalem;
3 Ọ ga-ekpe ikpe dị nʼetiti ndị dị iche iche, doziekwa esemokwu dị nʼetiti mba na mba ibe ya ruo ebe dị anya. Ha ga-akpụgharịkwa mma agha ha niile, mee ka ha bụrụ mma oge, kpụgharịkwa ùbe ha ka ha ghọọ mma ịkwacha osisi. Mba ọbụla agakwaghị ebuli mma agha megide mba ọzọ, maọbụ zụọ onwe ha nʼịlụ agha ọzọ.
And he will judge between many peoples, and be umpire to strong nations far and wide, —and they will beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks, Nation—against nation—shall not lift up sword, neither shall they learn—any more—to make war.
And they shall dwell—every man—under his own vine and under his own fig-tree, with none to make them afraid, —for, the mouth of Yahweh of hosts, hath spoken.
5 Mba dị iche iche ga-agagharị nke ọbụla nʼaha chi ya, ma anyị onwe anyị ga na-aga nʼaha Onyenwe anyị, bụ Chineke anyị ruo mgbe niile ebighị ebi.
For, all the peoples, walk, every man in the name of his god, —we, therefore, will walk in the name of Yahweh our God, to times age-abiding and beyond.
6 “Nʼụbọchị ahụ,” otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, “aga m achịkọta ndị ngwụrọ, chịkọtaa ndị ahụ niile e mere ka ha biri na mba ọzọ, na ndị ahụ niile m mere ka ha ruo ụjụ.
In that day, Declareth Yahweh, will I take up her teat is lame, and, her that hath been an outcast, will I carry, —even whomsoever I have afflicted;
7 Aga m eme ka ndị ngwụrọ ahụ ghọọ ndị fọdụrụ ndụ, meekwaa ka ndị ahụ a chụpụrụ achụpụ ghọọ mba dị ike. Onyenwe anyị ga-esi nʼugwu Zayọn chịa ha site nʼoge ahụ ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
And will make of her that was lame a residue, and of her that was removed far away a strong nation, —and Yahweh, shall be king, over them, in Mount Zion, from henceforth, even unto times age-abiding.
8 Ma gị, ebe nche e wuliri elu maka igwe atụrụ, ugwu nke nwaada Zayọn, ọchịchị a na-achị na mbụ ga-adịghachikwara gị; bụ ọchịchị nke dịrị nwaada Jerusalem.”
Thou, therefore, O Migdal-eder, mound of the daughter of Zion, as far as thee, shall it come, —so shall arrive the chief dominion, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Gịnị mere i ji na-akwasị akwa ike? Ọ bụ na i nweghị eze? Onye ndụmọdụ gị ọ nwụọla nke mere na ihe ụfụ jidere gị dịka nwanyị ime na-eme?
Meanwhile, wherefore shouldst thou cry out aloud? King, is there none within thee? or hath, thy counselor, perished? for labour, hath seized thee, as a woman in child-birth: —
10 Susie ude ike, gị nwaada Zayọn, dịka ịsụ ude nke nwanyị ime na-eme, nʼihi na unu aghaghị ịhapụ obodo a jee biri nʼọhịa. Unu aghaghị ịga Babilọn, nʼihi na ọ bụ nʼebe ahụ ka a ga-esi napụta unu. Ebe ahụ ka Onyenwe anyị ga-agbapụta unu site nʼaka ndị iro unu.
Be in labour, and bear, O daughter of Zion, as a woman in child-birth, —for, meanwhile, shalt thou go forth out of the city, and dwell in the field, and shalt come as far as Babylon, there, shalt thou be delivered, there, will Yahweh, redeem thee, out of the grasp of thine enemies.
11 Ugbu a, ọtụtụ mba ezukọọla imegide gị; na-asị, “Ka e merụọ ya ka anya anyị ṅụọ Zayọn.”
Meanwhile, therefore, shall be gathered against thee many nations, —who are saying—Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gaze upon Zion.
12 Ma ha amaghị ihe bụ uche Onyenwe anyị, ha aghọtakwaghị nzube ya, na ọ chịkọtala ha dịka ukwu ọka, na-ebuga ha nʼebe ịzọcha ọka.
But, they, know not the purposes of Yahweh, neither have they discerned his counsel, —for he hath gathered them, as sheaves, to a threshing-floor.
13 “Bilie, zọchaa, gị nwaada Zayọn, nʼihi na aga m enye gị mpi igwe. Aga m enyekwa gị ụkwụ ọla bronz, ị ga-etijisikwa ọtụtụ mba. Uru ha niile, nke ha nwetara nʼụzọ na-ezighị ezi, ka ị ga-enye Onyenwe anyị. Akụnụba ha ka ị ga-enyekwa Chineke nwe ụwa niile.”
Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for, thy horn, will I make to be iron, and, thy hoofs, will I make to he bronze, so shalt thou beat in pieces many peoples, —and shalt devote to Yahweh their unrighteous gain, and their substance, to the Lord of all the earth.
