< Matiu 28 >
1 Mgbe ụbọchị izuike gasịrị, nʼisi ụtụtụ ụbọchị mbụ nʼime izu ụka, Meri Magdalin na Meri nke ọzọ, gara ka ha lee ili ahụ.
NOW after the eve of the sabbath, as the light was dawning, towards the first day of the week, Mary Magdalen had come, and the other Mary, to view the sepulchre.
2 Na mberede, oke ala ọma jijiji malitere. Nʼihi na mmụọ ozi Onyenwe anyị sitere nʼeluigwe rịdata, kpụgharịa nkume ahụ e ji mechie ọnụ ili ahụ, nọkwasịkwa nʼelu ya.
And, lo! there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descending from heaven, came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 Ihu ya na-enwu dị ka amụma. Uwe ya na-achakwa ọcha dị ka akụmmiri igwe.
His aspect was as lightning, and his raiment white as snow.
4 Nʼihi egwu ya, ndị nche makwara jijiji. Daa nʼala nọrọ dị ka ndị nwụrụ anwụ.
And for fear of him the guards shook, and became as dead men.
5 Ma mmụọ ozi ahụ gwara ụmụ nwanyị ahụ sị ha, “Unu atụla egwu, nʼihi na amaara m na ọ bụ Jisọs onye a kpọgburu nʼelu obe ka unu na-achọ.
Then the angel addressing them, said to the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye are seeking Jesus who was crucified.
6 Ọ nọkwaghị nʼebe a. O sitela nʼọnwụ bilie, dị ka o si kwuo. Bịanụ lee ebe ọ tọgbọburu.
He is not here: he is risen, as he said. Come hither, behold the place where the Lord lay.
Lee, o burula unu ụzọ gawa Galili. Ebe ahụ ka unu ga-ahụ ya. Chetakwanụ ihe m gwara unu.”
And go quickly, tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead: and, lo! he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
And they went out quickly from the sepulchre with fear, and great joy; and ran to carry the tidings to his disciples.
And as they were going to tell the disciples, then behold Jesus met them saying, Hail! And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
Then saith Jesus to them, Be not affrighted: go, tell my disciples that they go into Galilee, there shall they see me.
11 Mgbe ha na-aga, ụfọdụ ndị agha chere ili ahụ nche batara nʼime obodo. Ha gara kọọrọ ndịisi nchụaja ihe niile mere.
And as they were going, some of the guards who were come into the city, had told the chief priests all things which had happened.
12 Emesịa, ndị nchụaja na ndị okenye zukọtara kwekọrịtaa inye ndị agha ahụ ọkpụrụkpụ ego,
And being assembled with the elders, and having held a council, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
13 sị ha, “Ihe a ka unu ga-ekwu, ‘Ndị na-eso ụzọ ya bịara nʼabalị zuru ya nʼohi mgbe anyị nọ na-arahụ ụra.’
saying, Report, that his disciples coming by night stole him away, while you were asleep.
And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and preserve you harmless.
15 Ha naara ego ahụ, meekwa dị ka e ziri ha. Akụkọ a ka a gbasara nʼetiti ndị Juu ruo taa.
So they took the money, and did as they were instructed. And this account is circulated among the Jews to this day.
16 Ma ndị ikom iri na otu ahụ bụ ndị na-eso ụzọ ya gara Galili, nʼelu ugwu ebe Jisọs gwara ha gaa.
Then the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain, where Jesus had ordered them.
And when they saw him, they worshipped him. Still some doubted.
18 Jisọs bịara ha nso, gwa ha sị, “E werela ikike niile dị nʼeluigwe na nke dị nʼelu ụwa nye m.
Then Jesus approaching, spake to them, saying, All power is given me in heaven and upon earth.
19 Ya mere, gaanụ mee ka mba niile bụrụ ndị na-eso ụzọ m, na-emenụ ha baptizim nʼaha nke Nna, na nke Ọkpara, na nke Mmụọ Nsọ.
Go therefore, make disciples among all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Ziekwanụ ha ka ha na-eme ihe niile m nyere unu nʼiwu.
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo! I am with you at all times even to the end of the world. Amen. (aiōn )
