< Matiu 25 >

1 “A ga-eji alaeze eluigwe tụnyere akụkọ ụmụ agbọghọ iri ndị weere oriọna ha pụta izute onye na-alụ nwunye ọhụrụ.
Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.
2 Ise nʼime ha maara ihe, ma ise ndị ọzọ bụ ndị nzuzu.
Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
For when the foolish virgins took their lamps, they did not take any oil with them.
4 Ise ndị maara ihe, wụjuru mmanụ ọkụ na karama, tinyekwa oriọna ha.
But the wise virgins took containers of oil along with their lamps.
Now while the bridegroom was delayed, they all got sleepy and slept.
6 “Nʼetiti abalị e tiri mkpu nʼoke olu sị, ‘Onye na-alụ nwunye ọhụrụ na-abịa, pụtanụ gaa zute ya!’
But at midnight there was a cry, 'Look, the bridegroom! Go out and meet him.'
7 “Mgbe ahụ ụmụ agbọghọ niile ahụbiliri mụnye oriọna ha.
Then all those virgins rose up and trimmed their lamps.
8 Ise ndị nzuzu ahụ rịọrọ ise ndị maara ihe sị, ‘Biko, wụnyetụrụnụ anyị ụfọdụ nʼime mmanụ ọkụ unu, lee na oriọna anyị na-anyụ anyụ.’
The foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.'
But the wise answered and said, 'Since there will not be enough for us and you, go instead to those who sell and buy some for yourselves.'
While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.
11 “Emesịa, ise ndị nzuzu ahụlọghachiri na-ekwu sị, ‘Onyenwe anyị, Onyenwe anyị, meghere anyị ụzọ!’
Afterward the other virgins also came and said, 'Master, master, open for us.'
12 “Ma ọ zaghachiri ha sị, ‘Nʼezie, nʼezie, agwa m unu, amaghị m ndị unu bụ.’
But he answered and said, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'
Watch therefore, for you do not know the day or the hour.
For it is like when a man was about to go into another country. He called his own servants and gave over to them his wealth.
15 O nyere onye nke mbụ talenti ise, nke abụọ ka o nyere talenti abụọ. O nyere onye nke ikpeazụ otu talenti.
To one of them he gave five talents, to another he gave two, and to yet another he gave one talent. Each one received an amount according to his own ability, and that man went on his journey.
16 Onye ahụ natara talenti ise weere ego ahụ malite ịzụ ahịa. Ngwangwa o retara talenti ise ọzọ nʼuru.
The one who received the five talents went at once and invested them and made another five talents.
17 Otu a kwa, onye nke e nyere talenti abụọ zụpụtakwara talenti abụọ ọzọ nʼuru.
Likewise the one who had received two talents made another two.
18 Ma onye ahụ natara otu talenti gara gwuo ala lie ego nna ya ukwu, nʼihi ichezi ya nke ọma.
But the servant who had received one talent went away, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.
Now after a long time the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them.
The servant who had received the five talents came and brought another five talents. He said, 'Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five talents more.'
21 “Nna ya ukwu sịrị ya, ‘I mere nke ọma ezi ohu kwesiri ntụkwasị obi. I zipụtala na i kwesiri ntụkwasị obi nʼihe dị ntakịrị. Nʼihi ya aga m etinye gị nʼebe ị ga-elekọta ọtụtụ ihe. Bata nʼọṅụ nke nna gị ukwu.’
His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things. I will put you in charge over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.'
22 “Onye nke e nyere talenti abụọ bịara sị, ‘Nna anyị ukwu, i nyere m talenti abụọ, ma lee, eritala m talenti abụọ ọzọ nʼuru.’
The servant who had received two talents came and said, 'Master, you gave me two talents. See, I have made two more talents.'
23 “Nna ya ukwu sịrị ya, ‘I mere nke ọma. Ị bụ ezi ohu kwesiri ntụkwasị obi.
24 “Onye e nyere otu talenti batara sị, ‘Nna anyị ukwu, amaara m onye ị bụ. Ị bụ onye aka ntagide. Ị na-ewe ihe ubi nʼebe ị na-akụghị mkpụrụ. Ị na-achịkọtakwa nʼebe ị na-agbasaghị.
Then the servant who had received one talent came and said, 'Master, I know that you are a strict man. You reap where you did not sow, and you harvest where you did not scatter.
25 Nʼihi nke a, atụrụ m egwu, a gara m liere gị ego talenti gị nʼala. Lee ihe gị werekwa.’
I was afraid, so I went away and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have here what belongs to you.'
But his master answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sowed and harvest where I have not scattered.
27 Ị gaara etinye ego m nʼaka ndị na-echekwa ego, ndị gaara akwụghachi ya na ọmụrụnwa ya, nke m gaara anata mgbe m lọghachiri.
Therefore you should have given my money to the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest.
28 “‘Napụtanụ ya talenti ahụ o ji, were ya nye onye ji talenti iri.
Therefore take away the talent from him and give it to the servant who has ten talents.
Ma onye ahụ ọ na-adịghị nke o nwere, a ga-anapụ ya ọ bụladị nke nta o nwere.
For to everyone who possesses, more will be given—even more abundantly. But from anyone who does not possess anything, even what he does have will be taken away.
30 Tụpụnụ ohu a na-abaghị uru nʼezi, nʼime ọchịchịrị, ebe ịkwa akwa na ịta ikikere eze ga-adị.’
Throw the worthless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.'
31 “Mgbe Nwa nke Mmadụ ga-abịa nʼebube ya na ndị mmụọ ozi niile, mgbe ahụ ka ọ ga-anọ nʼelu ocheeze ebube ya.
When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
32 Mba niile nke ụwa ga-ezukọtakwa nʼihu ya. Ọ ga-ekewapụta ha, otu obodo site nʼibe ya, dị ka onye ọzụzụ atụrụ sị ekewapụta ụmụ atụrụ site nʼụmụ ewu.
Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 Ọ ga-edebe ụmụ atụrụ ahụ nʼakụkụ aka nri ya, ma ụmụ ewu ga-anọ nʼaka ekpe ya.
He will place the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.
34 “Mgbe ahụ, eze ga-asị ndị nọ nʼaka nri ya, ‘Batanụ nʼime alaeze, unu ndị Nna m gọziri agọzi, batanụ nʼime alaeze nke e doziiri unu site na mgbe e kere ụwa.
Then the King will say to those on his right hand, 'Come, you who have been blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 Nʼihi na mgbe agụụ gụrụ m unu nyere m nri. Mgbe akpịrị kpọrọ m nkụ unu nyere m ihe ọṅụṅụ. Mgbe m bụ ọbịa unu kpọbatara m.
For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you took me in;
36 Mgbe m gba ọtọ, unu zụtara uwe nye m. Mgbe m dara ọrịa unu lekọtara m. Anọkwara m nʼụlọ mkpọrọ unu bịara leta m.’
I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you cared for me; I was in prison and you came to me.'
37 “Mgbe ahụ ndị ezi omume ahụ ga-ajụ ya sị, ‘Onyenwe anyị, olee mgbe anyị hụrụ gị ka agụụ na-agụ gị anyị enye gị nri? Olee mgbe anyị hụrụ gị ka akpịrị na-akpọ gị nkụ, anyị ekuru mmiri ọṅụṅụ nye gị?
Then the righteous will answer and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you a drink?
38 Olee mgbe kwa ka anyị hụrụ gị dị ka onye ọbịa anyị akpọbata gị? Olee mgbe kwa ka anyị hụrụ gị ka ị gba ọtọ anyị enye gị uwe?
When did we see you a stranger and take you in? Or naked and clothe you?
39 Olee mgbe kwa ka anyị hụrụ gị nʼọrịa, maọbụ nʼụlọ mkpọrọ anyị abịa leta gị?’
When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?'
40 “Eze ahụ ga-azaghachi ha sị, ‘Nʼezie asị m unu, mgbe unu mesoro otu nʼime ndị a dị nta nʼime ụmụnne m omume ọma, ọ bụ m ka unu mesoro omume ahụ.’
Then the King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, what you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.'
41 “Mgbe ahụ ọ ga-asịkwa ndị nọ nʼaka ekpe ya, ‘Pụọnụ nʼihu m unu ndị a bụrụ ọnụ. Baanụ nʼime ọdọ ọkụ ebighị ebi ahụ a kwadobeere ekwensu na ndị mmụọ ozi ya. (aiōnios g166)
Then he will say to those on his left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels, (aiōnios g166)
42 Nʼihi na mgbe agụụ na-agụ m, unu enyeghị m ihe ọbụla ka m rie. Mgbe akpịrị na-akpọ m nkụ, unu ekunyeghị m mmiri ka m ṅụọ.
because I was hungry, but you did not give me food; I was thirsty, but you did not give me a drink;
43 Mgbe m nọ dị ka ọbịa, unu akpọbataghị m nʼụlọ unu. Mgbe m gba ọtọ, unu enyeghị m uwe. Mgbe ahụ na-esighị m ike, unu elekọtaghị m. Mgbe m nọ nʼụlọ mkpọrọ, unu abịaghị leta m.’
I was a stranger, but you did not take me in; naked, but you did not clothe me; sick and in prison, but you did not care for me.'
44 “Mgbe ahụ ha ga-azakwa sị, ‘Onyenwe anyị, olee mgbe anyị hụrụ gị ka agụụ na-agụ gị, maọbụ ka akpịrị na-akpọ gị nkụ, maọbụ oge ị bụ onye ọbịa, maọbụ oge ị gba ọtọ, maọbụ oge ị nọ nʼọrịa, maọbụ ị nọ nʼụlọ mkpọrọ, ma anyị elekọtaghị gị?’
Then they will also answer and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not serve you?'
45 “Ọ ga-aza ha sị, ‘Eziokwu ahụ bụ nke a, mgbe ahụ unu jụrụ inyere otu nʼime ndị a dị nta aka, ọ bụ m ka unu jụrụ i nyere aka.’
Then he will answer them and say, 'Truly I say to you, what you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
46 “Ndị a ga-aba nʼịta ahụhụ ebighị ebi. Ma ndị ezi omume ga-aba na ndụ ebighị ebi.” (aiōnios g166)
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (aiōnios g166)
