< Matiu 22 >

1 Jisọs gwara ha okwu ọzọ nʼilu sị,
Jesus answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying,
2 “Alaeze eluigwe dị ka otu eze, nke kwadoro oke oriri ọlụlụ di na nwunye, nʼihi nwa ya nwoke.
"The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,
and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come.
4 “O zipụkwara ndị ohu ya ọzọ na-ejere ya ozi ka ha gaa gwa ndị ahụ a kpọrọ oriri sị, ‘E dozichaala ihe oriri ugbu a, egburu m oke ehi, na anụ ọzọ gbara abụba. Edoziela ihe niile. Bịanụ nʼoriri ọlụlụ di na nwunye.’
Again he sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, "Look, I have made ready my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast."'
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,
and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.
7 Onye eze ahụ were iwe nke ukwuu, zipụ ndị agha ya ka ha gaa laa ndị ogbu mmadụ ahụ nʼiyi, rechapụkwa obodo ha nʼọkụ.
The king was enraged, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 “Mgbe ahụ ọ gwara ndị ohu ya sị, ‘E doziela m oriri ọlụlụ di na nwunye, ma ndị a kpọrọ oku ekwesighị ekwesi.
"Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren't worthy.
9 Ugbu a, gaanụ nʼakụkụ ụzọ niile, kpọbatanụ ndị niile unu hụrụ, ka ha bịa nʼoriri ọlụlụ di na nwunye a.’
Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.'
10 Ndị ohu ahụ pụrụ gaa nʼokporoụzọ niile kpọbata mmadụ niile ha hụrụ. Ha kpọbatara ndị bụ ezi mmadụ na ndị bụ ajọ mmadụ. Ụlọ oriri ahụ jupụtakwara na ndị a kpọrọ.
And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all they found, both bad and good, and the wedding was filled with those reclining.
11 “Ma mgbe eze ahụ batara ileta ndị niile nọ na nri, ọ hụrụ otu nwoke nke na-eyighị uwe ọlụlụ nwunye.
But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who did not have on wedding clothing,
12 Ọ jụrụ ya ajụjụ sị, ‘Enyi m, i si aṅaa bata nʼebe a mgbe ị na-eyighị uwe ọlụlụ di na nwunye?’ O mechiri ọnụ ya nʼihi na o nweghị ihe ọ ga-asa.
and he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?' He was speechless.
Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.'
For many are called, but few chosen."
Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
16 Ha zigara ndị na-eso ụzọ ha na ndị nʼotu Herọd ka ha jụọ ya sị, “Onye ozizi, anyị maara nke ọma na ị bụ onye eziokwu, na ị na-ezikwa ụzọ Chineke nʼeziokwu. Ị dịghị asọkwa onye ọbụla anya, nʼihi na ị dịghị ele mmadụ anya nʼihu nʼagbanyeghị ndị ha bụ.
They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you are not partial to anyone.
17 Ugbu a gwa anyị, gịnị bụ uche gị? O ziri ezi nʼiwu ịtụ ụtụ nye Siza, ka ọ bụ na o zighị ezi?”
Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"
18 Ebe Jisọs maara ihe ọjọọ ha bu nʼobi, ọ zara sị ha, “Ndị ihu abụọ! Gịnị mere unu ji anwa m ọnwụnwa?
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, "Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
19 Gosinụ m ego e ji akwụ ụgwọ ụtụ.” Ha wetaara ya otu mkpụrụ ego.
Show me the tax money." They brought to him a denarius.
Aha onye kwa dị nʼokpuru onyinyo a?”
He asked them, "Whose is this image and inscription?"
21 Ha zara sị ya, “Ọ bụ nke Siza.” Mgbe ahụ ọ gwara ha sị, “Ọ dị mma. Nyenụ Siza ihe ruuru Siza, ma nyekwanụ Chineke ihe niile bụ nke ruuru Chineke.”
They said to him, "Caesar's." Then he said to them, "Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
When they heard it, they were astonished, and left him, and went away.
On that day Sadducees came to him, the ones saying that there is no resurrection. And they asked him,
24 Onye ozizi, “Mosis kwuru sị, ọ bụrụ na nwoke ọbụla anwụọ na-amụtaghị nwa, nwanne ya nwoke ga-alụrụ nwanyị ahụ di ya nwụrụ, ka ọ mụtara nwanne ya nwoke ahụ nwụrụ anwụ nwa.
saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother is to marry his wife, and raise up offspring for his brother.'
25 Ugbu a, e nwere ụmụnne nwoke asaa nʼetiti anyị. Onye nke mbụ lụrụ nwunye, nwụọ, ma ebe ọ dịghị ụmụ ọ mụtara, ọ hapụrụ nwanne ya nwunye ya.
Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no offspring, left his wife to his brother.
In like manner the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
27 Nʼikpeazụ, nwanyị ahụ nʼonwe ya nwụkwara.
After them all, the woman died.
28 Ugbu a, nʼoge mbilite nʼọnwụ, nwunye onye ka nwanyị a ga-abụ, ebe ọ bụ na ụmụnne nwoke asaa ndị a lụtụchara ya mgbe ọ nọ nʼụwa?”
In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her."
29 Jisọs zara ha sị, “Unu na-ejehie ụzọ nʼihi na unu aghọtaghị ihe akwụkwọ nsọ na-ekwu. Unu aghọtakwaghị ụdị ike Chineke nwere.
But Jesus answered them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 Nʼihi na mbilite nʼọnwụ, ịlụ di na nwunye agaghị adịkwa, kama ha ga-adị ka ndị mmụọ ozi nʼeluigwe.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like the angels in heaven.
31 Ma nʼihe banyere mbilite nʼọnwụ nke ndị nwụrụ anwụ, ọ bụ na unu agụtabeghị ihe Chineke gwara unu sị,
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
32 Mụ onwe m bụ Chineke nke Ebraham, Chineke nke Aịzik na Chineke nke Jekọb. Ọ bụghị Chineke nke ndị nwụrụ anwụ, kama ọ bụ nke ndị dị ndụ.”
'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
When the crowds heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together.
One of them, a Law scholar, asked him a question, testing him.
36 “Onye ozizi, olee iwu nke kachasị mkpa nʼime iwu niile?”
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?"
37 Ọ zara sị ya, “‘Hụ Onyenwe gị bụ Chineke gị nʼanya site nʼobi gị niile na site na mkpụrụobi gị niile, na site nʼuche gị niile.’
He said to him, "'You are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
38 Nke a bụ iwu nke mbụ, bụrụkwa iwu kachasị iwu niile.
This is the great and first commandment.
39 Iwu ọzọ na-eso nke a nʼịdị mkpa bụ nke a, ‘Hụ onye agbataobi gị nʼanya dị ka i si hụ onwe gị nʼanya.’
A second likewise is this, 'You are to love your neighbor as yourself.'
40 Iwu ndị ọzọ niile na ihe niile ndị amụma kwuru dabeere nʼebe iwu abụọ ndị a nọ.”
The whole Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments."
41 Mgbe ndị Farisii gbakọrọ nʼotu ebe, Jisọs jụrụ ha,
Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
42 “Gịnị ka unu na-eche banyere Kraịst? Nwa onye ka ọ bụ?” Ha zara sị ya, “Ọ bụ nwa Devid.”
saying, "What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?" They said to him, "Of David."
43 Ọ sịrị ha, “Gịnị mekwaranụ Devid site na ntụziaka nke Mmụọ Nsọ jiri kpọọ ya ‘Onyenwe m’? Nʼihi na ọ sịrị,
He said to them, "How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 “‘Onyenwe anyị gwara Onyenwe m sị ya, “Nọdụ ala nʼaka nri m ruo mgbe m ga-edebe ndị iro gị nʼokpuru ụkwụ gị abụọ.”’
'The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet'?
"If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?"
46 Ọ dịghị onye pụrụ ịsa ya okwu. Sitekwa nʼụbọchị ahụ, ọ dịghị onye ọbụla nwere anya ike ịjụ ya ajụjụ ọzọ.
No one was able to answer him a word, neither did anyone dare ask him any more questions from that day forth.
