< Luk 21 >

1 Ọ leliri anya elu hụ ka ndị ọgaranya si etinye onyinye ha nʼime igbe onyinye.
And looking around, he saw the wealthy putting their donations into the offertory.
2 Ọ hụkwara otu nwanyị di ya nwụrụ anwụ ka ọ bịara tinye naanị mkpụrụ ego kọpa abụọ.
Then he also saw a certain widow, a pauper, putting in two small brass coins.
3 Ọ sịrị, “Nʼezie, agwa m unu, nwanyị ogbenye a di ya nwụrụ etinyela ego karịa ndị ọzọ niile.
And he said: “Truly, I say to you, that this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
For all these, out of their abundance, have added to the gifts for God. But she, out of what she needed, has put in all that she had to live on.”
5 Mgbe ụfọdụ na-ekwu okwu banyere otu e si were nkume mara mma na onyinye e chere nʼihu Chineke, chọọ ụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ mma, ọ sịrị,
And when some of them were saying, about the temple, that it was adorned with excellent stones and gifts, he said,
6 “Ma banyere ihe ndị a, oge na-abịa mgbe ihe ndị a niile unu na-ahụ na-agaghị adịkwa. Ọ dịghị otu nkume a ga-ahapụ nʼelu ibe ya, a ga-akwatusị ha niile.”
“These things that you see, the days will arrive when there will not be left behind stone upon stone, which is not thrown down.”
Then they questioned him, saying: “Teacher, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when these things will happen?”
8 Ọ sịrị, “Lezienụ anya ka a ghara iduhie unu nʼihi na ọtụtụ ga-abịa nʼaha m sị, ‘Abụ m ya,’ na-asịkwa na ‘Oge ahụ dị nso.’ Unu esokwala ha.
And he said: “Be cautious, lest you be seduced. For many will come in my name, saying: ‘For I am he,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ And so, do not choose to go after them.
9 Mgbe ọbụla unu nụrụ akụkọ agha dị iche iche na ọgbaaghara, ka ụjọ ghara ịtụ unu, ihe ndị a aghaghị ibu ụzọ mezuo, ma ọgwụgwụ oge erubeghị.”
And when you will have heard of battles and seditions, do not be terrified. These things must happen first. But the end is not so soon.”
10 Mgbe ahụ, ọ sịrị ha, “Mba ga-ebili megide mba, alaeze ga-ebilikwa megide alaeze.
Then he said to them: “People will rise up against people, and kingdom against kingdom.

And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and pestilences, and famines, and terrors from heaven; and there will be great signs.
But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, handing you over to synagogues and into custody, dragging you before kings and governors, because of my name.
13 Nke a ga-abụrụ unu ohere iji gbaa akaebe.
And this will be an opportunity for you to give testimony.
14 Ma burunu ụzọ kpebie nʼobi unu na unu agaghị echegbu onwe unu maka ihe unu ga-aza.
Therefore, set this in your hearts: that you should not consider in advance how you might respond.
15 Nʼihi na aga m enye unu ụdị okwu na amamihe nke ndị na-ebo unu ebubo na-enweghị ike iguzogide maọbụ kwuo okwu megide.
For I will give to you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries will not be able to resist or contradict.
16 Ọ bụladị ndị mụrụ unu, ụmụnne unu ndị nwoke na ndị nwanyị, ndị ikwu unu na ndị enyi unu, ha ga-arara unu nye nʼaka ndị ọchịchị, ndị ga-egbukwa ụfọdụ nʼime unu.
And you will be handed over by your parents, and brothers, and relatives, and friends. And they will bring about the death of some of you.
17 Mmadụ niile ga-akpọ unu asị nʼihi m.
And you will be hated by all because of my name.
18 Ma otu agịrị isi dị nʼisi unu agaghị ala nʼiyi.
And yet, not a hair of your head will perish.
19 Unu ga-azọpụta ndụ unu site na ntachiobi unu.
By your patience, you shall possess your souls.
20 “Mgbe unu hụrụ ka ndị agha gbara Jerusalem gburugburu, matanụ na oge e ji ala ya nʼiyi eruola.
Then, when you will have seen Jerusalem encircled by an army, know then that its desolation has drawn near.
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and those who are in its midst withdraw, and those who are in the countryside not enter into it.
22 Nʼihi na oge a ga-abụ oge ịbọ ọbọ ka e mezuo ihe niile akwụkwọ nsọ kwuru.
For these are the days of retribution, so that all things may be fulfilled, which have been written.
23 Ma ahụhụ ga-adịrị ndị dị ime, na ndị na-enye ụmụaka ara, nʼụbọchị ahụ! A ga-enwe oke ihe mgbu nʼala a, iwe ga-adakwasịkwa ụmụ mmadụ.
Then woe to those who are pregnant or nursing in those days. For there will be great distress upon the land and great wrath upon this people.
24 Mma agha ga-egbu ha, mba niile ga-adọrọkwa ha nʼagha. Ndị mba ọzọ ga na-azọtọsị Jerusalem nʼụkwụ ruo mgbe oge nke ndị mba ọzọ ahụ zuru.
And they will fall by the edge of the sword. And they will be led away as captives into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles, until the times of the nations are fulfilled.
25 “A ga-enwe ihe ịrịbama nʼanyanwụ, nʼọnwa, na kpakpando. Nʼelu ụwa, mba niile ga-anọ nʼoke ahụhụ na mgbagwoju anya dị ka oke osimiri na-eme mkpọtụ, ebili mmiri ga na-ebilikwa.
And there will be signs in the sun and the moon and the stars. And there will be, on earth, distress among the Gentiles, out of confusion at the roaring of the sea and of the waves:
26 Ndị mmadụ ga-adakwa mba nʼobi nʼihi ụjọ mgbe ha ghọtara ihe gaje ịbịakwasị ụwa, nʼihi na a ga-eme ka ike niile nke dị nʼeluigwe maa jijiji.
men withering away out of fear and out of apprehension over the things that will overwhelm the whole world. For the powers of the heavens will be moved.
27 Nʼoge ahụ, a ga-ahụ Nwa nke Mmadụ ka ọ na-abịa nʼike na ebube nʼigwe ojii.
And then they will see the Son of man coming on a cloud, with great power and majesty.
28 Mgbe ihe ndị a malitere ime, guzoronụ ọtọ welie isi unu elu, nʼihi na oge mgbapụta unu dị nso.”
But when these things begin to happen, lift up your heads and look around you, because your redemption draws near.”
29 Ọ tụụrụ ha ilu a, “Leenụ osisi fiig na osisi ndị ọzọ niile anya.
And he told them a comparison: “Take notice of the fig tree and of all the trees.
30 Mgbe ha bidoro ipupụta ahịhịa ọhụrụ, unu na-amata na ọkọchị adịla nso.
When presently they produce fruit from themselves, you know that summer is near.
31 Nʼụzọ dị otu a kwa, mgbe unu hụrụ ihe ndị a niile ka ha na-eme, matanụ na alaeze Chineke adịla nso.
So you also, when you will have seen these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 “Nʼezie agwa m unu, ọgbọ a agaghị agabiga tupu ihe ndị a niile emezuo.
Amen I say to you, this lineage shall not pass away, until all these things happen.
Heaven and earth shall pass away. But my words shall not pass away.
34 “Kpachapụkwanụ anya, unu ekwela ka e bogbuo obi unu site nʼoke oriri na ọṅụṅụ na nchekasị nke ndụ a, site otu a mee ka ụbọchị ahụ bịakwasị unu na mberede, dị ka ọnya.
But be attentive to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts may be weighed down by self-indulgence and inebriation and the cares of this life. And then that day may overwhelm you suddenly.
For like a snare it will overwhelm all those who sit upon the face of the entire earth.
36 Nọrọnụ na nche oge niile ma na-ekpekwanụ ekpere ka unu nwee ike ịgbanarị ihe niile gaje ịbịa, ka unu nweekwa ike iguzo nʼihu Nwa nke Mmadụ.”
And so, be vigilant, praying at all times, so that you may be held worthy to escape from all these things, which are in the future, and to stand before the Son of man.”
37 Kwa ụbọchị, ọ na-ezi ihe nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ, ma nʼuhuruchi, ọ na-arịgoro nʼelu Ugwu Oliv ị ga nọọ ọnọdụ abalị.
Now in the daytime, he was teaching in the temple. But truly, departing in the evening, he lodged on the mount that is called Olivet.
38 Ndị mmadụ niile na-abịakwute ya nʼisi ụtụtụ niile nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ịnụrụ okwu ya.
And all the people arrived in the morning to listen to him in the temple.
