< Levitikọs 7 >
1 “‘Ndị a bụ usoro iwu banyere aja ikpe ọmụma, bụ nke dịkarịsịrị nsọ.
Likewise, this is the law of the sacrifice for a transgression. It is the Holy of holies.
2 A ga-egbu anụ aja ikpe ọmụma ahụ nʼebe a na-egbu anụ aja nsure ọkụ, were ọbara ya fesaa nʼakụkụ niile nke ebe ịchụ aja.
Therefore, where the holocaust is immolated, the victim for a transgression shall also be slain. Its blood shall be poured out all around the altar.
They shall offer from it: the rump, and the fat that covers the vital organs,

5 Onye nchụaja ga-akpọ ha ọkụ nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja dịka onyinye nsure ọkụ nye Onyenwe anyị. Ọ bụ aja ikpe ọmụma.
And the priest shall burn them upon the altar. It is the incense of the Lord on behalf of a transgression.
6 Nwoke ọbụla a mụrụ nʼezinaụlọ ndị nchụaja nwere ike iri anụ fọdụrụ na ya, maọbụ nʼebe nsọ ka aghaghị ịnọ rie ya. Ọ bụ ihe dịkarịsịrị nsọ.
Every male of priestly descent shall feed on this flesh in a holy place, because it is the Holy of holies.
7 “‘Otu iwu a metụtakwara aja ikpe ọmụma na aja mmehie. Anụ ọbụla fọdụrụ ga-abụ nke onye nchụaja ahụ nke ji ha chụọ aja mkpuchi mmehie. Oke ya ka ọ bụ.
Just as the sacrifice for sin is offered, so also for a transgression; one law shall be for both sacrifices. It shall belong to the priest who offers it.
8 Onye nchụaja nke chụrụ aja nsure ọkụ nʼisi onye ọbụla, ka ọ dịrị iwere akpụkpọ niile si nʼanụ ahụ o ji chụọ aja nye onwe ya.
The priest who offers the victim of holocaust shall have its skin.
9 A ga-ebunye onye nchụaja chụrụ aja mkpụrụ ọka nke e ji ụtụ ọka chụọ, ụtụ ọka fọdụrụ. Otu a ka ọ ga-adịkwa nʼaja achịcha ọbụla a nụrụ anụ, maọbụ nke e siri esi, maọbụ nke e ghere eghe. Ihe ọbụla fọdụrụ ga-abụ nke onye nchụaja ahụ.
And every sacrifice of fine wheat flour which is baked in the oven, and whatever is prepared on the oven grating or in the frying pan, shall be for the priest who offers it.
10 Aja mkpụrụ ọka ọbụla, ma nke e tinyere mmanụ, ma nke a na-etinyeghị mmanụ, nke fọdụrụ ga-abụ nke ụmụ ndị ikom Erọn.
Whether these will be sprinkled with oil, or left dry, an equal measure shall be divided to each one of the sons of Aaron.
11 “‘Ndị a bụ usoro iwu gbasara aja udo nke mmadụ ọbụla nwere ike chụọrọ Onyenwe anyị nʼaja:
This is the law of the victim of peace offerings, which is offered to the Lord.
12 “‘Ọ bụrụ na ha enye ya dịka aja ekele, tinyere aja ekele a ha ga-eweta ogbe achịcha a na-ejighị ihe na-eko achịcha mee, nke a gwakọtara ya na mmanụ oliv, na mbadamba achịcha a na-ejighị ihe na-eko achịcha mee, nke e tere mmanụ nʼelu ya, nakwa achịcha e ji ọka a kwọrọ nke ọma a gwakọtara ya na mmanụ nʼime ya.
If the oblation will be an act for giving thanks, they shall offer bread without leaven sprinkled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine wheat flour fried, and cakes sprinkled and mixed with oil,
13 Ọ ga-ewetakwa onyinye achịcha ọzọ nke e ji ihe na-eko achịcha, ya bụ, yiist mee, tinyere aja udo nke ekele ha.
and also, leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, which is immolated for peace offerings.
14 Ha ga-esikwa na ya weta otu nʼime onyinye ọbụla, chee nʼihu Onyenwe anyị, dịka onyinye. Ọ bụ nke ndị nchụaja ahụ na-efesa ọbara anụ e ji chụọ aja udo nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja.
Of these, one shall be offered to the Lord as the first-fruits, and one shall be for the priest who will pour out the blood of the victim.
15 Ma anụ ahụ eji chụọ aja onyinye udo nke ekele, ka a ga-eri nʼotu ụbọchị ahụ e ji ha chụọ aja. O nweghị nke a ga-ahapụ ka ọ bọọ chi.
The flesh of it shall be eaten on the same day; neither shall any of it remain until morning.
16 “‘Ma ọ bụrụ na onyinye mmadụ wetara bụ onyinye afọ ofufu, maọbụ onyinye o wetara nʼihi nkwa o kwere, a ga-eri anụ aja ahụ nʼụbọchị ahụ a chụrụ ya, nweekwa ike rie nke fọdụrụ ma chi bọọ.
If anyone, by a vow or of his own accord, will have offered a sacrifice, it shall be eaten in a similar manner on the same day. But then if any of it will have remained until tomorrow, it is lawful to eat it.
17 Ma anụ ọbụla fọdụrụ nʼime anụ aja ahụ, nke a na-erichapụghị nʼụbọchị nke abụọ ahụ ka a ga-akpọ ọkụ.
Then whatever will be found on the third day shall be consumed with fire.
If anyone will have eaten from the flesh of the victim of peace offerings on the third day, the oblation will be nullified; neither will it benefit the one who offered it. But instead, whatever soul will contaminate itself with such foods will be guilty of a betrayal.
19 “‘Anụ ọbụla nke metụrụ ihe rụrụ arụ aghọọla ihe na-adịghị ọcha. A gaghị eri ya. A ga-akpọ ya ọkụ. Ma nʼebe anụ ndị ọzọ dị, onye ọbụla e mere ka ọ dị ọcha nwere ike iri ya.
The flesh that has touched anything unclean shall not be eaten, but it shall be burnt with fire. He that is clean will feed on it.
20 A ga-esite nʼetiti ndị m kewapụ onye ọbụla riri anụ e ji chụọ aja udo nye Onyenwe anyị mgbe onye ahụ nọ nʼọnọdụ adịghị ọcha.
If a soul which is polluted will have eaten from the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which is offered to the Lord, he shall perish from his people.
And whoever will have touched the uncleanness of man, or of beast, or of anything which is able to defile, and who will have eaten from this kind of flesh, shall be cut off from his people.
22 Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị gwara Mosis sị,
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
23 “Gwa ụmụ Izrel okwu sị ha, ‘Unu erila abụba ehi, maọbụ nke ewu, maọbụ nke atụrụ.
Say to the sons of Israel: The fat of a sheep, and of an ox, and of a goat you shall not eat.
24 Abụba anụ ọbụla nwụrụ anwụ maọbụ nke anụ ọhịa gburu adịghị mma oriri. E nwere ike jiri ha mee ihe ọzọ.
The fat of a carcass that has died on its own, or of an animal that has been seized by a wild beast, you shall have for various uses.
25 A ga-ekewapụ mmadụ ọbụla site nʼetiti ndị ya, bụ onye na-eri abụba anụmanụ nke a ga-esite na ya chee onyinye nsure ọkụ nye Onyenwe anyị.
If anyone will have eaten the fat which ought to be offered as a burnt sacrifice of the Lord, he shall perish from his people.
26 Ọzọkwa, unu erila ọbara nnụnụ maọbụ nke anụmanụ nʼebe ọbụla unu bi.
Likewise, you shall not take as food the blood of any animals at all, whether of birds or beasts.
27 Onye ọbụla riri ọbara ka a ga-ekewapụ site nʼetiti ndị ya.’”
Every soul that will have eaten blood shall perish from his people.
28 Onyenwe anyị gwakwara Mosis sị,
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
29 “Gwa ụmụ Izrel okwu sị ha, ‘Onye ọbụla wetaara Onyenwe anyị onyinye aja udo aghaghị iweta ụfọdụ nʼime onyinye ahụ dịka onyinye pụrụ iche nye Onyenwe anyị.
Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: Whoever offers a victim of peace offerings to the Lord, let him also offer at the same time a sacrifice, that is, its libations.
30 Ha ga-eji aka ha chee onyinye nsure ọkụ ahụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị. Ha ga-eweta abụba ahụ, ya na obi anụ, fufee obi anụ ahụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị dịka aja mfufe.
He shall hold in his hands the fat of the victim, and the breast. And when he will have offered and consecrated both to the Lord, he shall deliver them to the priest,
31 Onye nchụaja ga-akpọ abụba ahụ ọkụ nʼebe ịchụ aja, ma obi anụ ahụ ga-abụ nke Erọn na ụmụ ya ndị ikom.
who shall burn the fat upon the altar. But the breast shall be for Aaron and his sons.
32 Unu ga-enye onye nchụaja apata aka nri nke anụ aja udo ahụ, dịka onyinye.
Likewise also, the right shoulder of the victim of peace offerings shall fall to the priest as first-fruits.
Among the sons of Aaron, whoever will have offered the blood and the fat, the same one shall also have the right shoulder for his portion.
34 Site nʼonyinye ụmụ Izrel na-enye nʼoge aja udo, ewerela m obi anụ ahụ a na-efufe efufe, na apata anụ a na-eche nʼihu m nye Erọn, onye nchụaja na ụmụ ya ndị ikom ka ha bụrụ oke ruuru ha mgbe ọbụla ụmụ Izrel na-achụ aja udo.’”
So then, the breast that is lifted up, and the shoulder that is separated, I have taken from the sons of Israel, from their victims of peace offerings, and I have given these to Aaron the priest and to his sons, as a law in perpetuity, from all the people of Israel.
This is the anointing of Aaron and his sons, by the ceremonies of the Lord, in the day when Moses offered them, so that they may fulfill the priesthood,
36 Nʼihi na nʼụbọchị ahụ e tere ha mmanụ ka Onyenwe anyị nyere ụmụ Izrel iwu sị ha nye Erọn na ụmụ ya ndị ikom oke ndị a oge niile, site nʼọgbọ ruo nʼọgbọ.
and this is what the Lord instructed to be given to them by the sons of Israel, as a perpetual observance in their generations.
37 Ndị a bụ usoro iwu metụtara aja nsure ọkụ, na aja mkpụrụ ọka, na aja mmehie, na aja ikpe ọmụma, na onyinye ido nsọ, na aja udo.
This is the law of the holocaust, and of the sacrifice for sin, and for transgression, and for consecration, and for the victims of peace offerings,
38 Onyenwe anyị nyere Mosis iwu ndị a nʼugwu Saịnaị nʼụbọchị ahụ o nyere ụmụ Izrel iwu sị ha, wetara Onyenwe anyị onyinye nʼọzara Saịnaị.
which the Lord appointed to Moses on mount Sinai, when he commanded the sons of Israel to offer their oblations to the Lord in the desert of Sinai.
