1 Jud, odibo Jisọs Kraịst, na nwanne Jemis, Na-edegara ndị niile a kpọrọ, ndị ahụrụ nʼanya nʼime Chineke, bụ Nna, na ndị nọkwa nʼokpuru nchebe Jisọs Kraịst akwụkwọ ozi a:
This letter comes from Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and James' brother. I am writing to those who are called and loved by God the Father, and who are kept safe by Jesus Christ:
2 Ka ebere na udo na ịhụnanya bara unu ụba.
May God's mercy, peace, and love increase in your experience!
3 Ndị m hụrụ nʼanya, ebe ọ na-anụ m ọkụ nʼobi idere unu akwụkwọ banyere nzọpụta ahụ anyị nwekọrọ nʼotu, ma ahụrụ m mkpa ọ dị idere unu akwụkwọ a, ịrịọ unu ka unu guzosie ike buo agha ichebe okwukwe ahụ, nke e nyefere ndị nsọ nʼaka idebe.
My friends, I was already looking forward to writing to you about the salvation that we share. But now I need to write urgently to you and encourage you to vigorously defend the truth about God, given once and for all time to God's holy people.
4 Nʼihi na ụfọdụ mmadụ, bụ ndị e dere ihe banyere ọmụma ikpe dịrị ha, siterị nʼoge gara aga, ezobatala nʼetiti unu. Ha bụ ndị na-adịghị asọpụrụ Chineke, ndị na-agbanwe amara Chineke anyị, mee ya ka ọ bụrụ ohere ha nwere ibi ndụ ịkwa iko, na nke ịgọnarị Jisọs Kraịst, onye naanị ya bụ Onye kachasị ihe niile elu na Onyenwe.
For some people have quietly crept in among you. They were written about and condemned a long time ago, for they are wicked people who pervert God's grace, turning it into a license to immorality, while also denying our Lord and master Jesus Christ.
5 Ọ bụ ezie na unu maa ihe ndị a niile, ma achọrọ m ichetara unu otu Onyenwe anyị si zọpụta ndị ya site nʼala Ijipt, ma mesịa laa ndị niile na-ekweghị ekwe nʼiyi.
Even though you already know this, I want to remind you that though the Lord saved his people out of the land of Egypt, later he still destroyed those who disbelieved.
Even those angels that were not content with their God-given positions but abandoned their rightful places—he has placed them in eternal chains of darkness until the great Day of Judgment. (aïdios )
7 Otu a kwa, Sọdọm na Gọmọra na obodo niile gbara ha gburugburu, bụ ndị nyefere onwe ha na ndụ ịkwa iko nakwa omume ibi ndụ ọjọọ dị iche iche nke anụ ahụ, bụ ihe ịdọ aka na ntị nye ndị mmadụ site nʼahụhụ ha tara nʼihi mmehie nʼime ọkụ ebighị ebi. (aiōnios )
In just the same way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns nearby that pursued immorality and perverted sex are provided as an example of those that experience the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios )
8 Nʼụzọ dị otu a kwa, ndị a na-emerụ anụ ahụ ha nʼirọ nrọ ha, na-ajụkwa ike ọchịchị niile, ma na-ekwulukwa ndị ahụ jupụtara nʼebube nke anya na-adịghị ahụ.
Likewise these dreamers pollute their bodies, disregard authority, and insult heavenly beings.
9 Ma Maikel onyeisi ndị mmụọ ozi, mgbe o guzogidere ekwensu na-arụrịtakwa ụka banyere ozu Mosis, ya onwe ya enweghị anya ike ịma ya ikpe nʼihi okwu nkwulu, kama ọ sịrị, “Ka Onyenwe anyị baara gị mba.”
Even the archangel Michael, when he was arguing with the devil over Moses' body, didn't dare to condemn him with a slanderous insult, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you.”
But these people ridicule whatever they don't understand; and what they do understand they instinctively follow like unthinking animals—this is what destroys them.
11 Ahụhụ ga-adịrị ha, nʼihi na ha soro nzọ ụkwụ Ken, nyefee onwe ha na ndahie Belam nʼihi ihe nrite nʼuru, ma laa nʼiyi na nnupu isi Kora.
They're in terrible trouble! For they have followed Cain's way. Like Balaam and his delusion, they have abandoned themselves to the profit motive. Like Korah and his rebellion, they have destroyed themselves.
12 Ndị a bụ ihe ntụpọ nʼetiti unu nʼoge mmemme oriri ịhụnanya unu, ha na-eso unu na-erikọ nri na-atụghị egwu ọbụla. Ha bụ ndị na-elekọta naanị onwe ha. Ha dị ka igwe ojii nke na-adịghị ezo mmiri, nke ifufe na-ebugharị. Ha bụ osisi a na-ahụ nʼoge ọkọchị nke na-adịghị amị mkpụrụ, nke e si na mgbọrọgwụ ya hoputa, nke nwụrụ anwụ ugboro abụọ.
These people spoil your fellowship meals, for they are selfish shepherds that don't have the slightest sense of shame—they only take care of themselves. They're clouds blown along by the wind that bring no rain. They're bare trees without fruit—twice dead, pulled out by the roots.
13 Ha bụ ebili mmiri na-amagharị nʼosimiri, nke na-asọpụta ihere ha dịka ụfụfụ, kpakpando na-awagharị awagharị, bụ ndị nke a kwadooro ebe kachasị ịgba ọchịchịrị ruo ebighị ebi. (aiōn )
They're violent ocean waves, foaming in their own disgrace. They're false stars, doomed forever to utter darkness. (aiōn )
14 Ọ bụ nʼihi ihe ndị a ka Enọk, onye bụ agbụrụ nke asaa site nʼAdam buru nʼamụma banyere ha sị, “Lee! Onyenwe anyị na-abịa, ya na puku kwụrụ puku ndị nsọ ya.
Enoch, seven generations on from Adam, spoke prophetically about these people: “Look! The Lord is coming, together with thousands and thousands of his holy ones
15 Ọ na-abịa ikpe mmadụ niile ikpe, na ịtụ ha niile mmehie ajọ omume niile ha nʼanya, bụ nke ha mere nʼụzọ na-ezighị ezi. Tinyere okwu ọjọọ niile nke ndị mmehie ndị na-adịghị asọpụrụ Chineke kwuru megide ya.”
to judge everyone, to reveal all the wicked things people have done, and all the terrible things hostile sinners have said against him.”
16 Ndị a bụ ndị na-atamu ntamu oge niile, ndị o nweghị ihe ọbụla na-adị ha mma. Ndị na-agbaso agụ ihe ọjọọ niile nke anụ ahụ ha chọrọ. Ha na-anya isi banyere onwe ha, na-aja ndị ọzọ mma; ka ha nwee ike nweta ihe ha na-achọ nʼaka ha.
Such people are grumblers, always complaining. They follow their own evil desires, speaking boastfully about themselves, and flattering others to get what they want.
17 Ma unu, ndị m hụrụ nʼanya, chetanụ ihe ndị ozi Onyenwe anyị Jisọs Kraịst kwuru na ha ga-emezu.
But you, my dear friends, please remember what you were told by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
18 Nʼihi na ha sịrị unu, “Nʼọgwụgwụ oge ahụ, ndị na-eji ihe niile na-emere ihe ọchị ga-adị. Ndị na-agbaso agụ ihe ọjọọ niile nke anụ ahụ ha chọrọ.
They explained to you that in the last times mockers would come, following their own wicked desires.
19 Ọ bụ ndị anụ ahụ ha na-achị, ndị na-enweghị Mmụọ Nsọ nʼime ha, bụ ndị na-eweta nkewa nʼetiti unu.”
They cause divisions; they are worldly people who don't have the Spirit.
20 Ma unu, ndị m hụrụ nʼanya, nọgidenụ na-ewuli onwe unu elu na ntọala okwukwe unu dịkarịsịrị nsọ. Na-ekpekwanụ ekpere nʼime Mmụọ Nsọ.
But you, my friends, are to build yourselves up through your trust in God. Pray in the Holy Spirit,
21 Doonụ onwe unu nʼokpuru ịhụnanya Chineke, dịka unu na-echere ebere Onyenwe anyị Jisọs Kraịst nke na-eduba na ndụ ebighị ebi. (aiōnios )
keep yourselves safe in God's love, and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ who brings eternal life. (aiōnios )
22 Gosinụ ụfọdụ ndị na-enwe obi abụọ ebere.
Show kindness to those who doubt.
23 Zọpụtanụ ndị ọzọ site nʼịgụpụta ha nʼọkụ. Nʼebe ndị ọzọ nọ gosinụ ha obi ebere, kama jirinụ ịtụ egwu mee nke a, kpọọnụ ọ bụladị uwe nke anụ ahụ mmehie merụrụ asị.
Save those you can by snatching them out of the fire. Show mercy—but with great care, hating even the “clothing” that is contaminated by sinful human nature.
24 Ugbu a, nye onye ahụ pụrụ ichebe unu, ka unu ghara ịda, onye pụrụ ịkpọbata unu nʼihu ya dị ebube nʼọnọdụ enweghị ntụpọ ọbụla nʼoke ọṅụ
Now to him who can keep you from falling, and who can bring you into his glorious presence without fault, and with great joy,
Amen. (aiōn )
to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time, now, and forever. Amen. (aiōn )
