Joshua 21

Then the heads of ancestral houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the cohen, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of ancestral houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.
2 na Shaịlo, nʼime ala Kenan, sị ha, “Onyenwe anyị nyere iwu site nʼaka Mosis ka enye anyị obodo ụfọdụ ebe anyị ga-ebi, na ala ebe anụ ụlọ anyị ga na-ata ahịhịa.”
They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, "The LORD commanded Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for our livestock."

The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with their suburbs.
4 Ndị buru ụzọ nweta oke site nʼife nza bụ ikwu Kohat dịka ikwu ha si dị. E sitere nʼala ndị Juda, na Simiọn, na Benjamin nye ha obodo iri na atọ, ka ọ bụrụ ihe nketa ụmụ Kohat ndị si nʼebo Livayị, ndị bụkwa ụmụ ụmụ Erọn onye nchụaja.
The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The descendants of Aaron the cohen, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
5 Ma ndị fọdụrụ nʼụmụ Kohat ka e nyere obodo iri site nʼobodo nke ikwu ndị ebo Ifrem, na Dan, na ọkara ebo Manase.
The rest of the descendants of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.

The descendants of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
7 Ụmụ Merari dịka ikwu ha si dị ketara obodo iri na abụọ site nʼala ndị ebo Ruben, na Gad, na Zebụlọn.
The descendants of Merari according to their families had twelve cities by lot out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
8 Ya mere, ụmụ Izrel mezuru iwu niile Onyenwe anyị nyere Mosis site nʼikenye ndị Livayị obodo ha ga-ebi, nakwa ebe anụ ụlọ ha ga-ata nri.
The children of Israel gave these cities with their suburbs by lot to the Levites, as the LORD commanded by Moses.
9 Ha sitere nʼebo Juda na Simiọn, kepụta obodo ndị a akpọrọ aha
They gave out of the tribe of the descendants of Judah, and out of the tribe of the descendants of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:
10 kenye ndị ikwu Kohat, ndị bụ ụmụ ụmụ Erọn, bụrụkwa ụmụ ụmụ Livayị. Ọ bụ ha ka e bụ ụzọ kenye ihe nketa site nʼife nza.
and they were for the descendants of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the descendants of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.

They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its suburbs around it.

To the descendants of Aaron the cohen they gave Hebron with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah with its suburbs,
14 Jatịa, Eshtemoa,
Jattir with its suburbs, Eshtemoa with its suburbs,
15 Họlọn, Debịa,
Holon with its suburbs, Debir with its suburbs,
16 Ain, Juta na Bet-Shemesh. E nyekwara ha ala niile gbara obodo ndị a gburugburu ka ọ bụrụ ebe anụ ụlọ ha ga-anọ taa nri. Ya mere, ọ bụ obodo itoolu ka e si nʼala ebo Juda na Simiọn kenye ha.
Ashan with its suburbs, Juttah with its suburbs, and Beth Shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17 Ebo Benjamin nyere ha obodo anọ ndị a, Gibiọn, Geba,
Out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,
18 Anatot, Almon na ala dị ya gburugburu ebe anụ ụlọ ha ga-anọ taa nri, bụ obodo anọ.
Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.
19 Ya mere, obodo niile e nyere ndị nchụaja, ụmụ ụmụ Erọn dị iri na atọ, tinyere ebe anụ ụlọ ha ga-anọ taa nri.
All the cities of the descendants of Aaron, the cohanim, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20 Ụmụ Kohat ndị fọdụrụ, ndị agbụrụ Livayị ka e kenyere obodo anọ ndị a site nʼaka ebo Ifrem.
The families of the descendants of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the descendants of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

They gave them Shechem with its suburbs in the hill country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with its suburbs,

24 Aijalon na Gat Rimọn, tinyere ebe ịta nri nke anụ ụlọ ha, bụ obodo anọ.
Aijalon with its suburbs, Gath Rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.
25 Ọkara ebo Manase nyere ha obodo abụọ, Teanak, Gat Rimọn na ebe ịta ahịhịa nke anụ ụlọ ha.
Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Beth Shean with its suburbs; two cities.
26 Ya mere, obodo niile na ebe ịta ahịhịa nke anụ ụlọ e nyere ndị fọdụrụ nʼikwu Kohat dị iri.
All the cities of the families of the rest of the descendants of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.
27 Ụmụ Geshọn, ndị agbụrụ Livayị, ketara obodo abụọ ndị a, ya na ebe ịta nri nke anụ ụlọ ha. Ọkara ebo Manase nyere: Golan, nʼime Bashan, nke bụ obodo mgbaba, na Be Eshtera.
They gave to the descendants of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Be Eshterah with its suburbs; two cities.
28 Ebo Isaka nyere ha obodo anọ. Obodo ndị a bụ, Kishiọn, Daberat,

29 Jamut na En-Ganim, tinyere ebe ịta nri nke anụ ụlọ ha, obodo anọ.
Jarmuth with its suburbs, En Gannim with its suburbs; four cities.
30 Ebo Asha nyekwara ha obodo anọ. Ha bụ, Mishal, Abdon,
Out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,
31 Helkat na Rehob, tinyere ebe ịta nri nke anụ ụlọ ha, obodo anọ.
Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.
32 Ebo Naftalị nyere ha obodo atọ, nyekwa ha ala ebe anụ ụlọ ha ga-anọ taa nri. Obodo ndị a bụ, Kedesh, nʼime Galili, nke bụkwa obodo mgbaba, Hamot Doa na Katan.
Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galil with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Hammothdor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.
33 Obodo iri na atọ, na ebe ịta ahịhịa nke anụ ụlọ ka e nyere ikwu Geshọn.
All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34 Ndị ikwu Merari, bụ ụmụ ụmụ Livayị fọdụrụ nwetara site nʼaka: Ebo Zebụlọn, Jokneam, Kata,
To the families of the descendants of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, Kartah with its suburbs,
35 Dimna na Nahalal, obodo anọ tinyere ebe ịta nri nke anụ ụlọ ha.
Rimmon with its suburbs, and Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities.
36 Ebo Ruben nyere ha obodo anọ: Beza, Jahaz,
And across the Jordan opposite Jericho, from the tribe of Reuben: a city of refuge for the manslayer, Bezer in the wilderness, on the plateau, with its suburbs, Jahaz with its suburbs,
37 Kedemot, Mefaat na ala ebe anụ ụlọ ha ga-anọ kpaa nri.
Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.
38 Ebo Gad nyere ha obodo anọ. Obodo ndị a bụ, Ramọt, nʼime Gilead nke bụ obodo mgbaba, Mahanaim,
Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,
39 Heshbọn na Jeza, tinyere ebe ịta nri nke anụ ụlọ ha, bụ obodo anọ.
Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.
40 Ọnụọgụgụ obodo niile e kenyere agbụrụ Merari bụ obodo iri na abụọ, ha bụ ndị fọdụrụ na ndị Livayị.
All these were the cities of the descendants of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.
41 Ọnụọgụgụ obodo niile na ebe ịta nri nke anụ ụlọ e sitere nʼala ụmụ Izrel nye ndị Livayị dị iri anọ na asatọ.
All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their suburbs.
42 Obodo ọbụla nwere ala gbara ya gburugburu ebe anụ ụlọ ga-anọ kpaa nri.
Each of these cities included their suburbs around them. It was this way with all these cities.
43 Ya mere, Onyenwe anyị nyere ụmụ Izrel ala ahụ ọ ṅụrụ iyi inye ndị nna nna ha. Ha nwetara ya, biri nʼime ya.
So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
44 Onyenwe anyị nyere ha izuike nʼakụkụ niile, dịka ọ ṅụrụ nʼiyi nye ndị nna nna ha. Ọ dịkwaghị otu nʼime ndị iro ha ọbụla guzogidere ha, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị nyefere ndị iro ha niile nʼaka ha.
The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 O nweghị otu nʼime nkwa ọma niile Onyenwe anyị kwere Izrel nke na-emezughị. O mezuru nkwa niile o kwere ha.
Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
