< Job 40 >
1 Onyenwe anyị zara Job sị:
And the Lord addide, and spak to Joob,
2 “Onye ahụ na-arụso Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile ụka ọ pụrụ ịdọ ya aka na ntị? Ka onye ahụ na-ebo Chineke ebubo zaghachi ya.”
Whether he, that stryueth with God, schal haue rest so liytli? Sotheli he, that repreueth God, owith for to answere to hym.
3 Mgbe ahụ, Job zaghachiri Onyenwe anyị sị:
Forsothe Joob answeride to the Lord,
4 “Abụ m onye na-erughị eru. Oleekwanụ ka m ga-esi zaghachi gị? Eji m aka m kpuchie ọnụ m.
and seide, What may Y answere, which haue spoke liytli? Y schal putte myn hond on my mouth.
5 Ekwuola m mbụ, ma enweghị m ọsịsa ọzọ kwuokwa ugboro abụọ, ma agaghị m ekwukwa ọzọ.”
Y spak o thing, which thing Y wold, that Y hadde not seid; and Y spak anothir thing, to which Y schal no more adde.
6 Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị sitere nʼoke ifufe gwa Job okwu sị:
Forsothe the Lord answeride to Joob fro the whirlewynd,
7 “Kwadoo onwe gị dịka dimkpa; enwere m ajụjụ m ga-ajụ gị, achọkwara m ka i nye m ọsịsa.
and seide, Girde thou as a man thi leendis, and Y schal axe thee, and schewe thou to me.
8 “Ị ga-aga nʼihu ikwujọ ikpe ziri ezi m? Ị ga-aga nʼihu maa m ikpe ka ị si otu a bụrụ onye ikpe gaara?
Whether thou schalt make voide my doom, and schalt condempne me, that thou be maad iust?
9 Ogwe aka gị ọ dị ike dịka nke Chineke? Olu gị ọ pụrụ ịda ụda dịka nke ya?
And if thou hast an arm, as God hath, and if thou thundrist with lijk vois, `take thou fairnesse aboute thee,
10 Were ebube na ịdị ukwuu chọọ onwe gị mma, yikwasịkwa onwe gị nsọpụrụ na ugwu dịka uwe.
and be thou reisid an hiy, and be thou gloriouse, and be thou clothid `in faire clothis.
11 Wụsa iwe gị dị ọkụ nʼebe ndị mpako niile nọ, weda ha nʼala,
Distrie thou proude men in thi woodnesse, and biholde thou, and make lowe ech bostere.
12 lekwasịkwa ndị mpako niile anya mee ha ihe ihere, ma tiriekwa ndị na-emebi iwu ebe ha guzo.
Biholde thou alle proude men, and schende thou hem; and al to-breke thou wickid men in her place.
13 Likọta ha niile nʼotu nʼaja, kpuchie ihu ha niile nʼala ili.
Hide thou hem in dust togidere, and drenche doun her faces in to a diche.
14 Mgbe ahụ, mụ onwe m ga-ekwenyere gị, na aka nri nwere ike ịzọpụta gị.
And Y schal knowleche, that thi riyt hond may saue thee.
15 “Lee enyi mmiri anya, bụ nke m kere dịka m si kee gị, ma ihe ọ na-eri bụ ahịhịa dịka ehi.
Lo! behemot, whom Y made with thee, schal as an oxe ete hey.
16 Lee ike dị nʼukwu ya, leekwa ike dị nʼime afọ ya.
His strengthe is in hise leendis, and his vertu is in the nawle of his wombe.
17 Ọdụdụ ya ka ọ na-efegharị dịka osisi sida; akwara dị ya nʼahụ ka e jikọtara nke ọma.
He streyneth his tail as a cedre; the senewis of his `stones of gendrure ben foldid togidere.
18 Ọkpụkpụ ya niile dịka ogidi bronz nwere ụmị, ọkpụkpụ ụkwụ na aka ya dịka okporo igwe.
Hise boonys ben as the pipis of bras; the gristil of hym is as platis of yrun.
19 Ya onwe ya bụ otu nʼime ọrụ aka mbụ nke Chineke, ma naanị onye kere ya nwere ike iji mma agha bịa ya nso.
He is the bigynnyng of the weies of God; he, that made hym, schal sette his swerd to hym.
20 Ugwu na-enye ya ihe ọ na-eri. Nʼebe ahụ kwa ka ụmụ anụ ọhịa ndị ọzọ na-anọ egwuri egwu.
Hillis beren eerbis to this behemot; alle the beestis of the feeld pleien there.
21 Ọ na-edina nʼokpuru ahịhịa na-eto nʼakụkụ mmiri, zookwa onwe ya nʼetiti ahịhịa riidi nʼapịtị.
He slepith vndur schadewe, in the pryuete of rehed, in moiste places.
22 Ahịhịa lotus na-eji ndo ya kpuchie ya, osisi pọpla nke dị nʼakụkụ mmiri gbara ya gburugburu.
Schadewis hilen his schadewe; the salewis of the ryuer cumpassen hym.
23 Ọ bụladị mgbe ebili mmiri na-ama, ọ dịghị atụ egwu; ọ na-anọ nwayọọ, nʼagbanyeghị na mmiri Jọdan na-asọpụta na-asọju ya nʼọnụ.
He schal soupe vp the flood, and he schal not wondre; he hath trist, that Jordan schal flowe in to his mouth.
24 Onye pụrụ ijide ya mgbe ọ na-ele anya, maọbụ were ọnya jide ya mapuo ya imi?
He schal take hem bi `the iyen of hym, as bi an hook; and bi scharpe schaftis he schal perse hise nosethirlis.
