1 Mgbe ahụ, Johanan nwa Kariya, na ndịisi agha ahụ niile, na Jezenaya nwa Hoshaya, na ndị Izrel niile, site nʼonye dịkarịsịrị nta ruo nʼonye dịkarịsịrị ukwuu, bịakwutere
And alle the princes of werriours neiyiden, and Johannan, the sone of Caree, and Jeconye, the sone of Josie, and the residue comyn puple, fro a litil man `til to a greet man.
2 Jeremaya onye amụma sị ya, “Biko, anyị bịara ịrịọ gị arịrịọ. Kpọkuo Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị nʼekpere nʼihi anyị bụ ndị fọdụrụ nʼala a. Ị maara na o nwere oge anyị dị ọtụtụ nʼala a, ma ugbu a anyị dị naanị ole na ole.
And thei seiden to Jeremye, the profete, Oure preier falle in thi siyt, and preie thou for vs to thi Lord God, for alle these remenauntis; for we ben left a fewe of manye, as thin iyen biholden vs; and thi Lord God telle to vs the weie,
3 Kpee ekpere ka Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị gosi anyị ihe anyị ga-eme, maọbụ ebe anyị ga-eje.”
bi which we schulen go, and the word which we schulen do.
4 Jeremaya onye amụma zara sị ha, “Anụla m ihe unu kwuru. Aga m ekpere Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu ekpere dịka unu rịọrọ. Mgbe m natara ọsịsa ya, aga m agwakwa unu ihe niile Onyenwe anyị kwuru. O nwekwaghị ihe m ga-ezonarị unu.”
Forsothe Jeremye, the profete, seide to hem, Y haue herd; lo! Y preye to oure Lord God, bi youre wordis; Y schal schewe to you ech word, what euere word the Lord schal answere to me, nether Y schal hide ony thing fro you.
5 Ha sịrị Jeremaya, “Ka Onyenwe anyị bụrụ onyeama eziokwu na nke kwesiri ntụkwasị obi megide anyị, ma ọ bụrụ na anyị emeghị dịka ihe niile Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke gị gwara gị ka ị gwa anyị.
And thei seiden to Jeremye, The Lord be witnesse of treuthe and of feith bitwixe vs; if not bi ech word, in which thi Lord God schal sende thee to vs, so we schulen do, whether it be good ether yuel.
6 Ọ bụ ihe Chineke, onye anyị na-eziga gị ka ị jụta ase, kwuru ka anyị ga-eme. Ma ọ dị mma, ma ọ dị njọ. Anyị ga-erubere Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị isi, ka ihe gaara anyị nke ọma.”
We schulen obeie to the vois of oure Lord God, to whom we senden thee, that it be wel to vs, whanne we han herd the vois of oure Lord God.
7 Mgbe ụbọchị iri gasịrị okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru Jeremaya ntị.
Forsothe whanne ten daies weren fillid, the word of the Lord was maad to Jeremye.
8 Nʼihi ya ọ kpọrọ Johanan nwa Kariya, ndịisi agha ya na ha so na ndị Izrel niile, site nʼonye dịkarịsịrị nta ruo nʼonye dịkarịsịrị ukwuu.
And he clepide Johannan, the sone of Caree, and alle the princes of werriours, that weren with hym, and al the puple fro the leste `til to the mooste; and he seide to hem,
9 Mgbe ha bịara, ọ gwara ha okwu sị ha, “Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel, onye unu zigara m ka m wegara arịrịọ unu, sịrị:
The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, to whom ye senten me, that Y schulde mekeli sette forth youre preyeris in his siyt.
10 ‘Ọ bụrụ na unu anọgide nʼala a, aga m ewuli unu elu; agaghị m akwada unu. Aga m akụkwa unu dịka osisi, gharakwa ihopu unu. Nʼihi na ihe ọjọọ ahụ m mere ka ọ bịakwasị unu na-ewute m nke ukwuu.
If ye resten, and dwellen in this lond, Y schal bilde you, and Y schal not distrie; Y schal plaunte, and Y schal not drawe out; for now Y am plesid on the yuel which Y dide to you.
11 Unu atụla eze Babilọn egwu, bụ onye unu na-atụ egwu ya ugbu a. Unu atụla ya egwu, otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri, nʼihi na anọnyeere m unu, aga m azọpụta unu, napụtakwa unu site nʼaka ya.
Nyle ye drede of the face of the kyng of Babiloyne, whom ye `that ben ferdful, dreden; nyle ye drede hym, seith the Lord, for Y am with you, to make you saaf, and to delyuere fro his hond.
12 Aga m enwe obi ebere nʼebe unu nọ, si otu a mee ka ya onwe ya nweekwa obi ebere nʼebe unu nọ. Ọ ga-emekwa ka unu nwetaghachikwa ala unu.’
And Y schal yyue mercies to you, and Y schal haue merci on you, and Y schal make you dwelle in youre lond.
13 “Ma ọ bụrụ na unu onwe unu asị, ‘Anyị agaghị anọgide nʼala a,’ si otu a nupu isi nʼebe Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu nọ;
Forsothe if ye seien, We schulen not dwelle in this lond, nether we schulen here the vois of oure Lord God, and seie,
14 ọ bụrụkwa na unu asị, ‘Mba, anyị ga-aga biri nʼala Ijipt ebe anyị na-agaghị ahụ agha, maọbụ nụ ụda opi ike, maọbụ nọọ agụụ nʼihi enweghị ihe oriri,’
Nai, but we schulen go to the lond of Egipt, where we schulen not se batel, and schulen not here the noise of trumpe, and we schulen not suffre hungur, and there we schulen dwelle;
15 mgbe ahụ, nụrụnụ okwu Onyenwe anyị, unu ndị fọdụrụ na Juda. Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, bụ Chineke Izrel kwuru, ‘Ọ bụrụ na unu anọgidesie ike na mkpebi unu ịga Ijipt ibiri nʼebe ahụ, ọ bụrụkwa na unu agaa biri nʼIjipt nʼeziokwu,
for this thing, ye remenauntis of Juda, here now the word of the Lord. The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, If ye setten youre face, for to entre in to Egipt, and if ye entren,
16 mgbe ahụ, mma agha ahụ unu na-atụ egwu ga-eru unu nʼahụ, ụnwụ ahụ unu na-atụ oke egwu ya ga-esoro unu baa nʼIjipt. Unu ga-anwụkwa nʼebe ahụ.
to dwelle there, the swerd whiche ye dreden schal take you there in the lond of Egipt, and the hungur for which ye ben angwischid schal cleue to you in Egipt; and there ye schulen die.
17 Nʼezie, ndị ahụ niile kpebiri ịga biri nʼIjipt ga-anwụ site na mma agha, na site nʼụnwụ, na site nʼọrịa na-efe efe. O nweghị onye ọbụla nʼime ha ga-afọdụ ndụ, o nweghị onye ọbụla nʼime ha ga-agbanarị ihe ọjọọ ahụ m ga-eme ka ọ bịakwasị ha.’
And alle the men that settiden her face, to entre in to Egipt, and to dwelle there, schulen die bi swerd, and hungur, and pestilence; no man of hem schal dwelle stille, nether schal aschape fro the face of yuel, which Y schal brynge on hem.
18 Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, bụ Chineke Izrel kwuru, ‘Dịka iwe m na ọnụma m bụ ihe awụkwasịrị nʼelu ndị bi na Jerusalem, otu a ka m ga-esi wụkwasịkwa unu ọnụma m, mgbe unu ga-aga Ijipt. Unu ga-aghọ ihe ọbụbụ ọnụ na ihe iju anya, ihe nkọcha na ihe ịta ụta. Unu agakwaghị ahụ ebe a anya ọzọ.’
For why the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, As my strong veniaunce and myn indignacioun is wellid togidere on the dwelleris of Jerusalem, so myn indignacioun schal be wellid togidere on you, whanne ye han entrid in to Egipt; and ye schulen be in to sweryng, and in to wondring, and in to cursyng, and in to schenschipe; and ye schulen no more se this place.
19 “Unu bụ ndị fọdụrụ na Juda, lee na Onyenwe anyị agwala unu sị, ‘Unu agala Ijipt.’ Matanụ nke ọma na m adọọla unu aka na ntị,
The word of the Lord is on you, ye remenauntis of Juda; nyle ye entre in to Egipt; ye witinge schulen wite, that Y haue witnessid to you to dai;
20 na unu mehiere nʼobi unu mgbe unu ziri m sị m jụta Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu ase. Mgbe ahụ, unu rịọrọ m sị m, ‘Rịọrọ anyị Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị arịrịọ, gwa anyị ihe niile o kwuru, anyị ga-emekwa ya.’
for ye han disseyued youre soulis, for ye senten me to youre Lord God, and seiden, Preye thou for vs to oure Lord God, and bi alle thingis what euer thingis oure Lord schal seie to thee, so telle thou to vs, and we schulen do.
21 Agwala m unu taa ihe o kwuru, ma unu ajụla ime ihe ahụ niile Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu, bụ onye unu zigara m ka m jekwuru, kwuru.
And Y telde to you to dai, and ye herden not the vois of youre Lord God, on alle thingis for whiche he sente me to you.
22 Ya mere, matanụ ya nke ọma taa na unu ga-anwụ site na mma agha, na site nʼụnwụ, na site nʼọrịa na-efe efe, nʼebe ahụ unu chọrọ ịga biri.”
Now therfor ye witynge schulen wite, for ye schulen die bi swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, in the place to which ye wolden entre, to dwelle there.
