Jeremaya 39
1 Otu a ka e si dọta Jerusalem nʼagha. Nʼafọ nke itoolu, nke ọchịchị Zedekaya eze Juda, nʼọnwa nke iri ya, Nebukadneza eze Babilọn duuru ndị agha ya niile bịa ibuso Jerusalem agha, Ha gbara ya gburugburu, nọchibido ya.
In the ninth yeere of Zedekiah King of Iudah in the tenth moneth, came Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel and all his hoste against Ierusalem, and they besieged it.
2 Nʼụbọchị nke itoolu, nʼọnwa nke anọ, nʼafọ nke iri na otu nke ọchịchị Zedekaya, ha gwupuru mgbidi obodo ahụ.
And in the eleuenth yeere of Zedekiah in the fourth moneth, the ninth day of the moneth, the citie was broken vp.
3 Mgbe ahụ, ndịisi niile nke eze Babilọn batara were ọnọdụ ha nʼọnụ ụzọ ama nke Etiti. Ndị a bụ ndị batara: Negal-Shareza onye Samga, na Nebo-Sasekim, onyeisi nʼetiti ndịisi, na Negal-Shareza onyeisi nke ọkwa ya dị elu, na ndịisi niile ọzọ nke eze Babilọn ndị fọdụrụ.
And all the princes of the King of Babel came in, and sate in the middle gate, euen Neregal, Sharezer, Samgar-nebo, Sarsechim, Rab-saris, Neregal, Sharezer, Rab-mag with all the residue of the princes of the King of Babel.
4 Mgbe Zedekaya eze Juda na ndị agha ya niile hụrụ ha, ha gbapụrụ ọsọ. Ha ji abalị gbapụ nʼobodo ahụ site nʼọnụ ụzọ ama nke dị nʼetiti mgbidi abụọ nʼakụkụ ubi eze a gbara ogige, chee ihu nʼụzọ Araba.
And when Zedekiah the King of Iudah saw them, and all the men of warre, then they fled, and went out of the citie by night, through the Kings garden, and by the gate betweene the two walles, and he went toward the wildernes.
5 Ma ndị agha ndị Babilọn chụsoro ha nʼazụ, chụkwute Zedekaya na mbara ala Jeriko. Ha jidere ya, kpụgara ya Nebukadneza eze Babilọn, nʼobodo Ribla, nke dị nʼala Hamat, ebe ọ nọ maa ya ikpe.
But the Caldeans hoste pursued after them, and ouertooke Zedekiah in the desart of Iericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him to Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel vnto Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gaue iudgement vpon him.
6 Ọ bụ na Ribla, ka eze Babilọn nọ gbuo ụmụ ndị ikom Zedekaya niile nʼihu ya. Ebe ahụ ka a nọkwa gbuo ndị Juda niile a na-asọpụrụ.
Then the King of Babel slewe the sonnes of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the King of Babel slewe all the nobles of Iudah.
7 Emesịa, ọ ghụpụrụ Zedekaya anya ya abụọ, jiri ụdọ bronz kee ya agbụ kpọrọ ya gaa Babilọn.
Moreouer he put out Zedekiahs eyes, and bound him in chaines, to cary him to Babel.
8 Ndị Babilọn sunyere ụlọeze na ụlọ ndị mmadụ niile ọkụ, kwatukwa mgbidi niile nke Jerusalem.
And the Caldeans burnt the Kings house, and the houses of the people with fire, and brake downe the walles of Ierusalem.
9 Nebuzaradan bụ ọchịagha ndị nche eze, buuru ndị niile fọdụrụ nʼobodo, ha na ndị ahụ buuru ụzọ jekwuru ya, na ndị ọzọ fọdụrụ, bulaa ha Babilọn, dịka ndị a dọtara nʼagha.
Then Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde caried away captiue into Babel the remnant of the people, that remained in the citie, and those that were fled and fallen vnto him, with the rest of the people that remained.
10 Ma Nebuzaradan bụ ọchịagha ndị nche eze, hapụrụ ụfọdụ ndị ogbenye, ndị na-enweghị ihe ọbụla nʼala Juda. Nʼoge ahụ, o nyere ha ubi vaịnị a gbara ogige na ala ubi niile.
But Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward left the poore that had nothing in the land of Iudah, and gaue them vineyards and fieldes at the same time.
11 Ugbu a, Nebukadneza eze Babilọn enyelarị Nebuzaradan ọchịagha ndị nche eze iwu banyere Jeremaya, sị,
Nowe Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel gaue charge concerning Ieremiah vnto Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde, saying,
12 “Kpọrọ ya, lekọtazie ya anya nke ọma; emekwala ya ihe ọjọọ ọbụla, kama meere ya ihe ọbụla ọ rịọrọ gị.”
Take him, and looke well to him, and doe him no harme, but doe vnto him euen as he shall say vnto thee.
13 Ya mere, Nebuzaradan, ọchịagha ndị nche eze, na Nebushazban, onyeisi nʼetiti ndịisi, na Negal-Shareza, bụ onyeisi ọkwa ya dị elu, na ndịisi ndị ọzọ niile nke eze Babilọn,
So Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward sent, and Nebushazban, Rabsaris, and Neregal, Sharezar, Rab-mag, and all the King of Babels princes:
14 ziri ndị jere kpọpụta Jeremaya site nʼogige ndị nche. Ha nyefere ya nʼaka Gedaliya nwa Ahikam, nwa Shefan, ka o dulaa ya nʼụlọ ya. Ya mere, Jeremaya nọgidere nʼetiti ndị nke ya.
Euen they sent, and tooke Ieremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him vnto Gedaliah the sonne of Ahikam the sonne of Shaphan, that he should cary him home: so he dwelt among the people.
15 Ma nʼoge ahụ, Jeremaya nọ dị ka onye mkpọrọ nʼogige ụlọ ndị nche, okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru ya ntị sị ya,
Now the worde of the Lord came vnto Ieremiah, while he was shut vp in the court of the prison, saying,
16 “Jekwuru Ebed-Melek onye Kush, gwa ya sị ya, ‘Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, bụ Chineke Izrel kwuru, Lee, ana m aga ime ka okwu ahụ m kwuru megide obodo a mezuo. Ihe ga-abịakwasị obodo a bụ ịla nʼiyi, ọ bụghị ọganihu. Nʼoge ahụ, ihe ndị a ga-emezukwa nʼihu gị.
Go and speake to Ebed-melech the blacke More, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Beholde, I wil bring my wordes vpon this citie for euill, and not for good, and they shalbe accomplished in that day before thee.
17 Ma aga m anapụta gị nʼụbọchị ahụ, otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri. A gaghị enyefe gị nʼaka ndị ahụ ị na-atụ egwu ha.
But I wil deliuer thee in that day, saith the Lord, and thou shalt not be giuen into the hand of the men whome thou fearest.
18 Aga m azọpụta gị. Ị gakwaghị ada site na mma agha kama ị ga-agbapụkwa na ndụ, nʼihi na ị tụkwasịrị m obi.’” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri ya.
For I will surely deliuer thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sworde, but thy life shall be for a praye vnto thee, because thou hast put thy trust in me, sayth the Lord.
