< Jeremaya 30 >
1 Ndị a bụ okwu nke sị nʼebe Onyenwe anyị nọ bịakwute Jeremaya.
This is the message that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:
2 “Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel kwuru, ‘Dee ihe niile m gwara gị nʼime akwụkwọ.
This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Write down in a book everything I've told you.
Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru.”
Look, the time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will bring back my people Israel and Judah from captivity, declares the Lord. I will bring them back to the country I gave to their forefathers, and they will own it again.
This what the Lord said about Israel and Judah.
5 “Nʼihi na otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, “‘A na-anụ mkpu akwa sitere nʼegwu, nke oke egwu, ọ bụghị udo.
This is what the Lord says: Hear the cries of panic, cries of fear, not peace.
6 Jụọnụ ajụjụ, ma hụ, nwoke ọ pụrụ ịmụ ụmụ? Gịnịkwa mere m ji na-ahụ ndị ikom dị ike ka ha tụkwasịrị aka ha nʼukwu ha dịka nwanyị ime na-eme, ihu onye ọbụla gbanwekwara dịka nke onye na-anwụ anwụ?
Think about it! Can men give birth? No. So why do I see every man holding his stomach with his hands like a woman in labor. Why is every face white as a sheet?
What a terrible day it will be—a day like never before! This is the time of trouble for Jacob's descendants, but they will be rescued from it.
8 “‘Nʼụbọchị ahụ,’ ‘aga m agbaji ihe ịnya nʼolu a nyakwasịrị ha nʼolu, tibisikwaa agbụ niile e kere ha. Ha agaghị abụkwa ndị ohu nye ndị mba ọzọ, ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwubiri.
On that day, declares the Lord Almighty, I will break the yoke from their necks and tear off their chains. Foreigners won't make them slaves anymore.
9 Kama ha ga-efe Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke ha, na Devid eze ha, onye m ga-esi nʼetiti ha mee ka o biliere ha.
They will serve the Lord their God, and their king, David's descendant whom I will give them.
10 “‘Ya mere, atụla egwu, gị Jekọb, ohu m. Atụkwala ụjọ gị Izrel,’ Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara. ‘Aghaghị m ịzọpụta gị site na mba ahụ dị anya, zọpụtakwa ụmụ ụmụ gị site na mba ahụ e mere ka ha gaa biri nʼime ya. Jekọb ga-emesịakwa biri nʼudo na nchebe. Ọ dịkwaghị onye ga-eme ka ụjọ tụọ ya ọzọ.
As far as you're concerned, my servant Jacob, don't be afraid, declares the Lord, Israel, don't be discouraged. I promise to save you from your distant places of exile, your descendants from the countries where they're being held captive. The descendants of Jacob will go home to a quiet and comfortable life, free from any threats.
11 Nʼihi na mụ onwe m nọnyeere gị, aga m azọpụtakwa gị,’ otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri. ‘A sịkwarị na m alaa mba ndị ahụ niile nʼiyi, bụ mba ndị ahụ m chụbanyere gị nʼime ha, agaghị m ebibi gị onwe gị kpamkpam. Aga m adọ gị aka na ntị maọbụ dịka o kwesiri, ị gaghị agbanarị ịta ahụhụ.’
I am with you and I will save you, declares the Lord. Even though I'm going to completely destroy all the nations where I scattered you, I won't completely destroy you. However, I will discipline you as you deserve, and you can be sure I won't leave you unpunished.
12 “Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwukwara, “‘Ọnya dị gị nʼahụ enweghị ngwọta, mmerụ ahụ i merụrụ dị ukwuu, ọ pụghị ịla ala.
This is what the Lord says: You have a wound that cannot be healed, you have a terrible injury.
13 O nweghị onye na-ekpechitere gị ọnụ gị, o nweghị ọgwụ dị nke e ji eme ka ọnya gị laa. Olileanya adịghị na a ga-agwọ gị.
There's no one to take care of your case, no cure for your sores, no healing for you.
14 Ndị niile gị na ha dị na mma e chezọọla gị; ha adịghị echetakwa gị nʼechiche uche ha. E tieela m gị ihe dịka onye iro gị ga-esi tie gị ihe; ataala m gị ahụhụ dịka onye na-enweghị obi ebere ga-esi taa gị ahụhụ, nʼihi na ajọ omume gị bara ụba nke ukwuu, mmehie gị dịkwa ọtụtụ.
All your lovers have forgotten about you; they don't bother looking for you anymore, because I have beaten you as if I were your enemy, the discipline of a cruel person, because of how wicked you are, because of your many sins.
15 Gịnị mere i ji na-akwa akwa nʼihi ọnya dị gị nʼahụ? Gịnị mere i ji na-akwa akwa nʼihi ihe mgbu nke na-enweghị ọgwụgwọ? Emere m ka ihe ndị a bịakwasị gị nʼihi ịba ụba nke ajọ omume gị, na nʼihi ọtụtụ mmehie gị.
Why are you crying over your wound? You pain can't be cured. I did this to you because of how wicked you are, because of your many sins.
16 “‘Ma a ga-erepịa ndị niile na-eripịa gị; ndị iro gị niile, ha niile nʼotu nʼotu, ka a ga-adọta nʼagha buru gaa mba ọzọ. Ndị na-apụnara gị ihe i nwere nʼike ka a ga-apụnarakwa ha ihe ha nwere nʼike. Ndị niile na-alụtakwa ihe inwere nʼagha ka a ga-enye ka ha ghọọ ihe nlụta nʼagha.
Even so, everyone who destroys you will be destroyed. All your enemies, every last one, will be sent into exile. Those who plundered you will be plundered, and all who robbed you will be robbed.
‘Nʼihi na a na-akpọ gị onye a jụrụ ajụ. Gị Zayọn, nke o nweghị onye na-elekọta ya.’
But I will give you back your health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord, because people say you've been abandoned and that no one cares about you, Zion.
A ga-ewugharị obodo ahụ nʼelu mkpọmkpọ ebe ya; ụlọeze ga-eguzokwa nʼọnọdụ kwesiri ya.
This is what the Lord says: I will bring Jacob's descendants back to their homes and have mercy on their families. The city will be rebuilt on top of its ruins, and the palace once again stand where it should.
19 Nʼebe ahụ ka a ga-esi na-anụ olu abụ ekele, na olu ndị na-aṅụrị ọṅụ. Aga m eme ka ha bụrụ ndị a na-asọpụrụ, ndị a na-agaghị eledakwa anya.
People will be singing songs of thanks, the sounds of celebration. I will increase their number—they will not become less. I will honor them—they will not be treated as insignificant.
20 Ụmụ ha ga-adịkwa ka ụmụntakịrị ndị mgbe ochie ahụ, nzukọ ha ga-eguzosikwa ike nʼihu m. Aga m atakwa ndị ahụ na-emegbu ha ahụhụ.
Their children will be looked after like they used to be. I will make their nation strong again, and punish anyone who attacks them.
21 Onyendu ha ga-abụ otu onye nʼime ndị ha; onye ga-achị ha ga-esi nʼetiti ha pụta. Aga m akpọbata ya nso ebe m nọ, ọ ga-abịaru m nso, nʼihi na olee mmadụ ahụ nke pụrụ inyefe onwe ya kpamkpam, maka ịbịaru m nso?’ Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
Their leader will be from their own country, their ruler will be chosen from among them. I will invite him to come close to me, and he will do so, for would anyone dare to approach me without being asked? declares the Lord.
22 ‘Nʼụzọ dị otu a unu ga-abụ ndị m, mụ onwe m kwa ga-abụ Chineke unu.’”
You will be my people, and I will be your God.
23 Lee, Onyenwe anyị ga-esite nʼọnụma ya mee ka oke ifufe ya fee. Ọ ga-efekwasị ndị na-emebi iwu dịka ifufe na-efesi ike.
Watch out! The Lord has sent out a furious storm, a tornado swirling around the heads of the wicked.
24 Iwe ọkụ Onyenwe anyị agaghị akwụsị tutu ruo mgbe o mezuru ihe ndị o bu nʼobi. Nʼụbọchị ndị ahụ na-abịa unu ga-aghọta ihe ndị a.
The Lord's anger won't fade until he's finished doing everything he wants. Only then will you really understand.
