Jeremaya 3
1 “Ọ bụrụ na nwoke agbaara nwunye ya alụkwaghị m, nwanyị ahụ ahapụ ya pụọ ga lụrụ nwoke ọzọ, di mbụ ya ahụ, o kwesiri ịlaghachi ka ọ lụọkwa ya ọzọ? Ọ bụ na agaghị emerụ ala ahụ nke ukwuu? Ma unu ebiela ndụ dịka ndị akwụna nwere ọtụtụ ndị iko, ọ bụ ugbu a ka unu ga-alaghachikwute m?” otu ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
It is seid comunli, If a man forsakith his wijf, and sche go awei fro hym, and be weddid to an othere hosebonde, whether he schal turne ayen more to hir? whether thilke womman schal not be defoulid, and maad vncleene? Forsothe thou hast do fornycacioun with many loueris; netheles turne thou ayen to me, `seith the Lord, and Y schal resseyue thee.
2 “Welie anya gị abụọ ma lee ebe niile nke dị elu nke ọhịa na-adịghị nʼala a, olee ebe gị na ndị ikom na-edinakọbeghị nʼịkwa iko? Ị na-anọ nʼakụkụ ụzọ niile na-eche ndị iko, na-anọkwa dịka onye Arebịa nʼọzara. Ị werela ịkwa iko gị niile na ihe ọjọọ gị merụọ ala a.
Reise thin iyen in to streiyt, and se, where thou art not cast doun. Thou hast setun in weies, abidynge hem as a theef in wildirnesse, and thou hast defoulid the erthe in thi fornicaciouns and in thi malices.
3 Ọ bụ nke a mere mmiri ji kwụsị izokwara unu, ọbụla dị mmiri nke na-ezo nʼoge ọkọchị. Nʼihi na unu bụ ndị akwụna, ndị ihere na-adịghị eme.
Wherfor the dropis of reynes weren forbodun, and no late reyn was. The forhed of a womman hoore is maad to thee; thou noldist be aschamed.
4 Ọ dịbeghị anya mgbe unu kpọrọ m, sị m, ‘Nna m, ị bụ enyi m kemgbe m dị na nwantakịrị.
Nameli fro this tyme forth clepe thou me, Thou art my fadir, the ledere of my virginyte.
5 Iwe gị ọ ga-adịgide mgbe niile? Iwe gị dị ọkụ ọ ga-adịgide ebighị ebi?’ Otu a ka unu si ekwu okwu, ma unu nọgidesịrị ike na-eme ihe ọjọọ niile unu nwere ike ime.”
Whether thou schalt be wrooth with outen ende, ether schalt contynue in to the ende? Lo! thou hast spoke, and hast do yuels, and thou were myyti. And for wordis of penaunce thou blasfemydist bi wordis of pride; and thou fillidist thin yuel thouyt, and schewidist thi strengthe ayens thi hosebonde, that thou maist do that thing that thou tretidist bi word.
6 Ozi a, nke si nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị pụta, rutere m aka nʼoge eze Josaya na-achị. Lee ihe ọ gwara m. “Ị hụla ihe Izrel na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi na-eme? Ọ gaala nʼelu ugwu ọbụla dị elu nakwa nʼokpuru osisi ndụ ọbụla, na-akwa iko nʼebe ahụ.
And the Lord seide to me, in the daies of Josie, the kyng, Whether thou hast seyn what thing the aduersarie, Israel, hath do? Sche yede to hir silf on ech hiy hil, and vndur ech tre ful of boowis, and dide fornycacioun there.
7 Echere m na mgbe o mesịrị ihe ndị a niile na ọ ga-alọghachikwute m, ma ọ lọtaghị. Nwanne ya nwanyị bụ Juda, onye na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi hụkwara ya.
And Y seide, whanne sche hadde do alle these thingis, Turne thou ayen to me; and sche turnede not ayen. And hir sistir, Juda, brekere of the lawe,
8 Enyere m Izrel na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi akwụkwọ alụkwaghị m, chụpụ ya nʼihi ndụ ịkwa iko ya, ma lee na nwanne ya nwanyị onye na-ekwesịkwaghị ntụkwasị obi bụ Juda atụghị egwu. Ọ gakwara nʼihu ịkwa iko.
siy, that for the aduersarie, Israel, dide auowtrie, Y hadde left hir, and Y hadde youe to hir a libel of forsakyng; and Juda, hir sistir, brekere of the lawe, dredde not, but also sche yede, and dide fornycacioun.
9 Ma nke a emeghị ka ihere mee ya. O merụọla ala, ọ na-akwakwa iko site nʼife nkume na osisi.
And bi liytnesse of hir fornicacioun sche defoulide the erthe, and dide auowtrie with a stoon, and with a tree.
10 Nʼagbanyeghị nke a, nwanne ya nwanyị nke na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi, bụ Juda ejighị obi ya lọghachikwute m, maọbụ naanị nlọghachi aghụghọ,” otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
And in alle these thingis hir sistir, Juda, brekere of the lawe, turnede not ayen to me, in al hir herte, but in a leesyng, seith the Lord God.
11 Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị sịrị m, “Izrel na-adaghachi azụ na-egosi onwe ya nʼonye ezi omume karịa Juda onye na-aghọ aghụghọ.
And the Lord seide to me, The aduersarie, Israel, hath iustified hir soule, in comparisoun of Juda, brekere of the lawe.
12 Gaa, kwusaa ozi a nʼụzọ ugwu, na-asị, “‘Lọta, gị Izrel nke na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi,’ otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, ‘Agaghị m ewesokwa gị iwe ọzọ, nʼihi na abụ m onye obi ebere,’ otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, ‘Agaghị m ewe iwe ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
Go thou, and crye these wordis ayens the north; and thou schalt seie, Thou aduersarie, Israel, turne ayen, seith the Lord, and Y schal not turne awei my face fro you; for Y am hooli, seith the Lord, and Y schal not be wrooth with outen ende.
13 Naanị nabata na ị bụ onye ikpe mara, na i nupula isi megide Onyenwe anyị, bụ Chineke gị. Kwupụta na i werela onwe gị kesara ndị mba ọzọ dị iche iche nʼokpuru osisi ndụ niile, na ị jụkwara irubere m isi.’” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
Netheles knowe thou thi wickidnesse; for thou hast trespassid ayens thi Lord God, and thou hast spred abrood thi weies to aliens vndur ech tre ful of bowis; and thou herdist not my vois, seith the Lord.
14 “Lọghachinụ unu ndị na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi,” ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, sị, “nʼihi abụ m di unu. M ga-ahọrọ unu, otu onye site nʼotu obodo na mmadụ abụọ site nʼotu agbụrụ. M ga-akpọghachi unu Zayọn.
Be ye conuertid, sones, turnynge ayen, seith the Lord, for Y am youre hosebonde; and Y schal take you oon of a citee, and tweyne of a kynrede, and Y schal lede you in to Sion;
15 Mgbe ahụ, aga m enye unu ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ masịrị m, ndị ga-eji amamihe na nghọta duo unu.
and Y schal yyue to you scheepherdis after myn herte, and thei schulen feede you with kunnyng and teching.
16 Nʼụbọchị ahụ, mgbe ọnụọgụgụ unu mụbara dị ukwuu nʼala ahụ,” otu ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri ya, “ndị mmadụ agaghị asịkwa ọzọ, ‘igbe ọgbụgba ndụ nke Onyenwe anyị.’ Ọ gaghị abakwa ha nʼobi maọbụ ha echeta ya; ọ gaghị adịkwa ha mkpa maọbụ emepụtakwa ọzọ.
And whanne ye schulen be multiplied, and encreesse in the lond, in tho daies, seith the Lord, thei schulen no more seie, The arke of testament of the Lord; nether it schal stie on the herte, nether thei schulen thenke on it, nether it schal be visitid, nether it schal be ferthere.
17 Mgbe oge ahụ ruru, aha a ga-akpọ Jerusalem bụ Ocheeze Onyenwe anyị. Mba niile kwa ga-ezukọta nʼebe ahụ ife m ofufe. Ha agakwaghị agbaso echiche obi ọjọọ ha.
In that tyme thei schulen clepe Jerusalem The seete of the Lord, and alle hethene men schulen be gaderid togidere to it, in the name of the Lord, in Jerusalem; and thei schulen not go aftir the schrewidnesse of her worste herte.
18 Nʼụbọchị ahụ ndị Juda ga-adịnyere ndị Izrel, ha abụọ ga-ejikọta aka site nʼala ahụ dị nʼugwu bịa nʼala nke m nyere nna nna unu dịka ihe nketa.”
In tho daies the hous of Juda schal go to the hous of Israel; and thei schulen come togidere fro the lond of the north to the lond which Y yaf to youre fadris.
19 “Mụ onwe m kwuru sị, “‘Lee ka ọ ga-esi masị m imeso unu mmeso dịka unu bụ ụmụ m ndị ikom, nye unu ala dị mma nke ga-ewetara unu ọṅụ, nke bụ ihe nketa kachasị mma na mba niile.’ Ana m eche na unu ga-akpọ m ‘Nna’ ma hapụ iwezuga onwe unu site nʼịgbaso m.
Forsothe Y seide, Hou schal Y sette thee among sones, and schal yyue to thee a desirable lond, a ful cleer eritage of the oostis of hethene men? And Y seide, Thou schalt clepe me fadir, and thou schalt not ceesse to entre aftir me.
20 Ma dịka nwunye na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi, i gosila onwe gị, O Izrel na ị bụ onye a na-ekwesighị ịtụkwasị obi” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara.
But as if a womman dispisith hir louyere, so the hous of Israel dispiside me, seith the Lord.
21 A na-anụ ụzụ mkpu akwa nʼelu ugwu. Ọ bụ ụzụ akwa ụmụ Izrel ndị na-arịọ arịrịọ nʼihi na ha ebiela ndụ mmehie; ha echefuokwala Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke ha.
A vois is herd in weies, the weping and yellyng of the sones of Israel; for thei maden wickid her weie, thei foryaten her Lord God.
22 “Lọghachinụ, unu bụ ndị na-adaghachi azụ. Mụ onwe m ga-agwọ unu ndaghachi azụ unu.” Ma unu na-aza sị, “E, anyị na-alọghachikwute gị nʼihi na gị onwe gị bụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị.
Be ye conuertid, sones, turnynge ayen, and Y schal heele youre turnyngis awei. Lo! we comen to thee; for thou art oure Lord God.
23 Nʼezie, aghụghọ, ka mkpọtụ ofufe nke arụsị niile, nʼelu ugwu nta dị iche iche na nʼelu ugwu niile bụ, nʼezie, nʼime Onyenwe anyị, bụ Chineke anyị ka nzọpụta Izrel dị.
Verili litil hillis weren lieris, the multitude of mounteyns was fals; verili in oure Lord God is the helthe of Israel.
24 Ma site mgbe anyị dị na nwantakịrị, ihe ihere ahụ eripịala mkpụrụ sitere na ndọgbu nʼọrụ nke nna nna anyị ha igwe anụ ụlọ na ehi ha, ụmụ ha ndị ikom na ụmụ ha ndị inyom.
Schenschipe eete the trauel of oure fadris, fro oure yongthe; schenschipe eet the flockis of hem, and the droues of hem, the sones of hem, and the douytris of hem.
25 Ka anyị dinara ala nʼihere anyị, ka ọnọdụ oke ihere dịrị anyị kpuchikwa anyị. Anyị na nna nna anyị ha emehiela megide Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị; site mgbe anyị dị na nwantakịrị ruo taa o nwebeghị mgbe anyị ji rube isi ime ihe Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị nyere nʼiwu.”
We schulen slepe in oure schenschipe, and oure sclaundir schal hile vs; for we synneden to oure Lord God, bothe we and oure fadris, fro oure yongthe `til to this dai; and we herden not the vois of oure Lord God.
