< Jeremaya 15 >
1 Mgbe ahụ Onyenwe anyị gwara m okwu sị m, “Ọ bụrụ na Mosis na Samuel apụta bịa guzo nʼihu m, ụdịdị obi m agaghị agbanwe nʼebe ndị a nọ. Chụpụ ha nʼihu m. Mee ka ha si nʼebe a pụọ.
Then the LORD said to me, “Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not turn toward this people. Cast them out of my sight, and let them go out!
2 Ọ bụrụ na ha ajụọ gị si, ‘Ebee ka anyị ga-aga?’ Gwa ha na ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, “‘Ndị e debere nʼihi ọnwụ ga-anwụ, ndị e debere nʼihi mma agha ka mma agha ga-egbu; ndị e debere nʼihi ụnwụ ka ụnwụ ga-egbu, otu a kwa, ndị e debere nʼihi ịdọta nʼagha, ka a ga-adọta nʼagha buru ha gaa mba ọzọ.’
It will happen when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go out?’ then you shall tell them, ‘The LORD says: “Such as are for death, to death; such as are for the sword, to the sword; such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for captivity, to captivity.”’
Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
“I will appoint over them four kinds,” says the LORD: “the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, the birds of the sky, and the animals of the earth, to devour and to destroy.
4 Aga m eme ka ha ghọọ ihe a na-asọ oyi nʼalaeze niile nke ụwa, nʼihi ihe Manase nwa eze Hezekaya nke Juda mere na Jerusalem.
I will cause them to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.
5 “Onye ga-enwe ebere nʼahụ gị, gị Jerusalem? Onye ga-eru ụjụ nʼihi ihe ga-adakwasị gị? Onye ga-apụta guzo ịjụ ajụjụ banyere otu ihe si agara gị?
For who will have pity on you, Jerusalem? Who will mourn you? Who will come to ask of your welfare?
6 Gị onwe gị ajụla m,” ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara. “Ị nọgidela na-adaghachi azụ. Ya mere, aga m ebikwasị gị aka, bibie gị. Ike m ji akwụsị gị ka ị ghara ịdaghachi azụ agwụla m.
You have rejected me,” says the LORD. “You have gone backward. Therefore I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you. I am weary of showing compassion.
7 Aga m eji ihe e ji afụcha ọka fụchaa ha nʼọnụ ụzọ ama nke ala ahụ. Aga m eme ka mbibi bịakwasị ndị m, nke ga-eme ka ha gbara aka ụmụ, nʼihi na ha esitebeghị nʼụzọ ọjọọ ha chigharịa.
I have winnowed them with a fan in the gates of the land. I have bereaved them of children. I have destroyed my people. They didn’t return from their ways.
Their widows are increased more than the sand of the seas. I have brought on them against the mother of the young men a destroyer at noonday. I have caused anguish and terrors to fall on her suddenly.
9 Nwanyị mụrụ ụmụ asaa ga-ada mba, kubie ume. Ọ ga-anwụ mgbe oge ya na-erubeghị, ihere ga-eme ya; ọ ga-abụkwa onye e wedara nʼala. Ma ndị fọdụrụ ndụ ka m ga-eme ka ha nwụọ site na mma agha ndị iro ha.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
She who has borne seven languishes. She has given up the spirit. Her sun has gone down while it was yet day. She has been disappointed and confounded. I will deliver their residue to the sword before their enemies,” says the LORD.
10 Ahụhụ dịịrị m, nne m, na ị mụrụ m, onye ya na ndị niile bi nʼala a na-alụ ọgụ, ma na-ese okwu. O nwebeghị onye m binyere ego, ọ dịkwaghị onye binyere m ego, ma mmadụ niile na-akọcha m.
Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me, a man of strife, and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have not lent, neither have men lent to me; yet every one of them curses me.
11 Onyenwe anyị kwuru sị, “Nʼezie, aga m anapụta gị nʼihi ezi ihe, aga m eme ka onye iro gị rịọ gị arịrịọ nʼoge ihe ọjọọ na nʼoge mkpagbu.
The LORD said, “Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
12 “Mmadụ o nwere ike ịgbaji igwe, ya bụ igwe e si nʼakụkụ ugwu bubata, maọbụ bronz?
Can one break iron, even iron from the north, and bronze?
13 “Aga m ewere ihe niile i nwere, ya na akụnụba gị, nye ya onye ga-akwata ha nʼagha. Ọ gaghị akwụ gị ihe ọbụla. Nʼihi na mmehie gị niile ejupụtala nʼala a niile.
I will give your substance and your treasures for a plunder without price, and that for all your sins, even in all your borders.
14 Aga m ewere gị nye ka ị bụrụ ohu ndị iro gị. Ị ga-ebi nʼala ị na-amaghị. Nʼihi na a ga-esite nʼiwe m mụnye ọkụ nke ga-eregbu gị.”
I will make them to pass with your enemies into a land which you don’t know; for a fire is kindled in my anger, which will burn on you.”
15 Ị maara O Onyenwe anyị, ya mere cheta m, lekọtaakwa m. Bọọrọ m ọbọ megide ndị na-akpagbu m. Ewezugala m, biko, nʼihi na ị bụ onye ogologo ntachiobi. Lee ka m si na-anata nkọcha nʼihi na m na-asọpụrụ gị.
LORD, you know. Remember me, visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors. You are patient, so don’t take me away. Know that for your sake I have suffered reproach.
16 Mgbe m chọpụtara okwu gị, eweere m ya rie dịka nri. Ha tọrọ obi m ụtọ, bụrụkwa ihe na-enye m ọṅụ, nʼihi na-akpọkwasịrị m aha gị, Onyenwe anyị Chineke Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile.
Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, LORD, God of Hosts.
17 O nwebeghị oge mụ na ndị na-achị ọchị nke ukwuu ji nọkọọ. Esokwaghị m ha ṅụrịkọọ ọṅụ. A nọdụụrụ m onwe m nʼihi na aka gị dịkwasịrị m. I mekwara ka iwe jupụta m nʼobi nʼihi ajọ omume ha.
I didn’t sit in the assembly of those who make merry and rejoice. I sat alone because of your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.
18 Gịnị mere ihe mgbu m adịghị akwụsị akwụsị? Gịnị mekwara ọnya m ji dị njọ na-apụghị ịgwọta ya? Ị dịrị m dịka mmiri iyi na-arafu mmadụ, dịka isi iyi nke na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi.
Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will you indeed be to me as a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?
19 Ya mere, ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, “Ọ bụrụ na i chegharịa, aga m etinyeghachi gị nʼọnọdụ gị, ime ka i guzokwa nʼihu m. Ọ bụrụ na okwu si gị nʼọnụ abụrụ okwu kwesiri ntụkwasị obi, okwu na-abụghị okwu nzuzu ị ga-abụ onye na-ekwuchitere m ọnụ m. Ndị a ga-alaghachikwute gị ma i gaghị alaghachikwuru ha.
Therefore the LORD says, “If you return, then I will bring you again, that you may stand before me; and if you take out the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them.
20 Aga m eme ka ị dịrị ka mgbidi nʼebe ha nọ. Ị ga-abụ mgbidi e wusiri ike, nke e ji bronz wuo. Ha ga-ebuso gị agha, ma ha agaghị emeri gị nʼihi na m nọnyeere gị ịnapụta gị, nakwa ịzọpụta gị,” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall. They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and to deliver you,” says the LORD.
21 “Aga m anapụta gị site nʼaka ndị ọjọọ. Gbapụtakwa gị site nʼaka ndị na-enweghị obi ebere.”
“I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.”
