< Jeremaya 12 >
1 Onye ezi omume ka ị bụ mgbe niile, gị Onyenwe anyị, mgbe ọbụla m butere ikpe bịa nʼihu gị. Ma achọrọ m ịgwa gị okwu banyere ikpe ziri ezi gị: Gịnị mere ihe ji agara ndị ajọ omume nke ọma? Gịnị mere ndị na-aghọ aghụghọ ji ebi ndụ enweghị nsogbu ọbụla?
O Lord, if I dispute with thee, thou art righteous: yet let mee talke with thee of thy iudgements: wherefore doeth the way of the wicked prosper? why are all they in wealth that rebelliously transgresse?
2 Ị kụọla ha ka osisi, ha agbaala mgbọrọgwụ; ha na-etokwa na-amị mkpụrụ. Ị nọ nso mgbe niile nʼọnụ ha, ma ị nọ nʼebe dị anya nʼobi ha.
Thou hast planted them, and they haue taken roote: they grow, and bring forth fruite: thou art neere in their mouth, and farre from their reines.
3 Ma gị onwe gị maara m Onyenwe anyị; ị na-ahụ m, na-anwapụtakwa echiche niile m na-eche banyere gị. Dọkpụrụ ha dịka atụrụ a ga-egbu egbu. Doo ha iche nye ụbọchị ahụ a ga-egbu ha.
But thou, Lord, knowest me: thou hast seene me, and tried mine heart towarde thee: pull them out like sheepe for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
Howe long shall the lande mourne, and the herbes of euery fielde wither, for the wickednesse of them that dwell therein? the beastes are consumed and the birdes, because they sayd, He wil not see our last ende.
5 “Ọ bụrụ na ndị ji ụkwụ ha agba ọsọ emerie gị nʼọsọ nke gị na ha gbara, i si aṅaa chee na gị na ndị ji ịnyịnya agba ọsọ nwere ike ịgbakọta ọsọ ịsọ mpi? Ọ bụrụ na ị sọọ ngọngọ nʼala ebe udo dị, ị ga-esi aṅaa ghara ịsọ ngọngọ nʼọhịa dị nʼakụkụ osimiri Jọdan?
If thou hast runne with the footemen and they haue wearied thee, then howe canst thou match thy selfe with horses? and if thou thoughtest thy selfe safe in a peaceable lande, what wilt thou do in the swelling of Iorden?
6 Lee, ọ bụladị ụmụnne gị, ndị ezinaụlọ nke aka gị, ararala gị nye. Lee, ha eweliela oke olu iti mkpu megide gị. Atụkwasịla ha obi, ọ bụladị mgbe ha na-ekwu okwu ọma banyere gị.
For euen thy brethren, and the house of thy father, euen they haue delt vnfaithfully with thee, and they haue cryed out altogether vpon thee: but beleeue them not, though they speake faire to thee.
7 “Aga m agbakụta ụlọ m na ihe nketa m họpụtara nye onwe m azụ. Aga m ewere onye ahụ m hụrụ nʼanya nyefee ya nʼaka onye iro ya.
I haue forsaken mine house: I haue left mine heritage: I haue giuen the dearely beloued of my soule into the hands of her enemies.
8 Ihe nketa m aghọrọọla m, ihe dịka ọdụm nọ nʼọhịa, Ọ na-agbọ ụja megide m; ya mere, m ji kpọọ ya asị.
Mine heritage is vnto mee, as a lion in the forest: it crieth out against mee, therefore haue I hated it.
9 Ọ bụ na ihe nketa m aghọbeghị nnụnụ ugo tụrụ agwa nye m nke ọtụtụ ugo gbara gburugburu na-emegide ya? Gaanụ, kpọkọta ụmụ anụ ọhịa niile, mee ka ha zukọọ bịa dọrie nri.
Shall mine heritage bee vnto mee, as a bird of diuers colours? are not the birdes about her, saying, Come, assemble all ye beastes of the fielde, come to eate her?
10 Ọtụtụ ndị ọzụzụ atụrụ ebibiela ubi vaịnị m. Ha azọtọọla ubi m nʼokpuru ụkwụ, ha emeela ka ubi m mara mma ghọọ ọzara tọgbọrọ nʼefu.
Many pastors haue destroyed my vineyarde, and troden my portion vnder foote: of my pleasant portion they haue made a desolate wildernesse.
11 Ha emeela ya ka ọ ghọọ ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu; e, ọ ghọọla ebe kpọrọ nkụ nʼebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu nʼihu m. Ala ahụ niile ga-atọgbọrọkwa nʼefu, nʼihi na o nweghị onye ọbụla ihe banyere ya na-emetụ nʼobi.
They haue layde it waste, and it, being waste, mourneth vnto me: and the whole lande lyeth waste, because no man setteth his minde on it.
12 Ndị mbibi ga-ejupụta nʼelu ebe niile dị elu nke ọzara, nʼihi na mma agha Onyenwe anyị ga-esite nʼotu nsọtụ ala ahụ ruo na nsọtụ nke ọzọ, ripịa ndị niile dị na ya. O nweghị onye ọbụla udo ga-adịrị nʼala ahụ.
The destroyers are come vpon all the high places in the wildernesse: for the sworde of the Lord shall deuoure from the one end of the land, euen to the other ende of the lande: no flesh shall haue peace.
13 Ha ga-agha mkpụrụ ọka wiiti, maọbụ ogwu ga-epuru ha. Ha ga-adọgbu onwe ha nʼọrụ ma ha agaghị enweta ihe ọbụla. Ya mere, ka ihe ihere unu ghọtara dịka ihe ubi dịrị unu, nʼihi na ahụhụ ndị a sitere nʼiwe dị ọkụ nke Onyenwe anyị.”
They haue sowen wheate, and reaped thornes: they were sicke, and had no profite: and they were ashamed of your fruites, because of the fierce wrath of the Lord.
14 Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, “Ma banyere ndị agbataobi ọjọọ m ahụ niile, bụ ndị na-apụnara ndị m Izrel ihe nketa ahụ m nyere ha. Aga m esite nʼala ha hopu ha. Aga m esitekwa nʼetiti ha hopu ụlọ Juda.
Thus sayeth the Lord against all mine euill neighbours, that touch the inheritance, which I haue caused my people Israel to inherite, Beholde, I will plucke them out of their lande, and plucke out the house of Iudah from among them.
15 Ma mgbe m hopuchara ha, aga m emesịa meere ha ebere, meekwa ka onye ọbụla nʼime ha laghachikwa nʼobodo nke aka ya. Ha ga-enwetakwa ihe nketa ha niile.
And after that I haue plucked them out, I will returne, and haue compassion on them, and will bring againe euery man to his heritage, and euery man to his land.
16 Ọ bụrụkwa na ha amụta ụzọ niile nke ndị m nke ọma, na iji aha m ṅụọ iyi, na-asị, ‘Dịka Onyenwe anyị na-adị ndụ,’ dịka ha si kuziere ndị m iji aha Baal na-aṅụ iyi, aga m eme ka ha guzosie ike nʼetiti ndị m.
And if they will learne the wayes of my people, to sweare by my Name, (The Lord liueth, as they taught my people to sweare by Baal) then shall they be built in the middes of my people.
17 Ma ọ bụrụ na mba ọbụla ajụ ige ntị, aga m ehopu ha kpamkpam, laa ha nʼiyi.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
But if they will not obey, then will I vtterly plucke vp, and destroy that nation, sayeth the Lord.
