1 “Bilie, mụkee, nʼihi na ìhè gị abịala, ebube Onyenwe anyị awaakwala nʼahụ gị dịka anyanwụ.
Arise, shine! for thy light is come, and the glory of Jehovah is risen upon thee.
2 Lee, ọchịchịrị na-ekpuchi ụwa niile, oke ọchịchịrị na-ekpuchi ndị niile bi nʼụwa, ma Onyenwe anyị ga-awa dịka anyanwụ nʼahụ gị ebube ya ga-achakwa ka ihe nʼebe i nọ.
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah will arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen on thee.
3 Mba niile dị iche iche ga-abịakwute ìhè gị, ndị eze niile ga-abịaru mmụke nke ọwụwa gị.
And the nations shall walk by thy light, and kings by the brightness of thy rising.
4 “Welienụ anya unu abụọ elu legharịa gburugburu unu, ha niile na-ezukọta na-abịakwute gị; ụmụ gị ndị ikom na-esi nʼebe dị anya bịa, ụmụ gị ndị inyom ka a ga-ekukwa nʼụkwụ.
Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons come from afar, and thy daughters are carried upon the side.
5 Mgbe ahụ, ị ga-elepụ anya ma chakee, obi gị ga-atọ gị ụtọ, saa mbara nʼihi ọṅụ, nʼihi na akụ niile nke osimiri ka a ga-ewebatara gị, akụnụba nke ọtụtụ mba ga-abịara gị.
Then thou shalt see, and shalt be brightened, and thy heart shall throb, and be enlarged; for the abundance of the sea shall be turned unto thee, the wealth of the nations shall come unto thee.
6 Ọtụtụ igwe ịnyịnya kamel nke si Midia na Efaa ga-ejupụta nʼala gị, ma ndị sikwa nʼobodo Sheba ga-ebutere gị ọlaedo na ụda na-esi isi ụtọ. Ha ga-ekwusakwa otuto Onyenwe anyị.
A multitude of camels shall cover thee, young camels of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall publish the praises of Jehovah.
7 A ga-enye gị igwe ewu na atụrụ niile nke ndị Keda. Ebule niile nke Nebaiot ga-abụ nke gị. A ga-anabata ha dịka onyinye nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja m. Aga m edozi ụlọnsọ m dị ebube, mee ya ka ọ maa mma karịa.
All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall serve thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will beautify the house of my magnificence.
8 “Olee ndị bụ ndị a na-efegharị dịka igwe ojii, ndị na-efegharị dịka ụmụ nduru na-efeba nʼakwụ ha?
Who are these that come flying as a cloud, and as doves to their dove-cotes?
9 Nʼezie, mụ ka ala ndị ahụ mmiri gbara gburugburu na-echere; ụgbọ niile nke Tashish ga-ebukwa ụzọ, na-ebughachi ụmụ gị site nʼebe dị anya, ha na ọlaọcha na ọlaedo ha niile. Inye Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke gị nsọpụrụ, Onye nsọ nke Izrel, nʼihi na ọ jirila ịma mma gọzie gị.
For the isles shall await me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of Jehovah thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, for he hath glorified thee.
10 “Ndị mba ọzọ ga-abịa wuziere unu mgbidi unu niile. Ndị na-achị achị na ndị eze ha niile ga-ejere unu ozi. Ọ bụ ezie na m tikpọrọ gị nʼiwe m, ma site nʼamara m, aga m emere gị ebere.
And the sons of the alien shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee. For in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
11 Ọnụ ụzọ ama gị ga-eghe oghe oge niile site nʼụtụtụ ruo nʼụtụtụ, ịnabata akụ niile si na mba dị iche iche. A ga-edurukwa ndị eze dị iche iche bata nʼime ya nʼọnọdụ ndị a dọtara nʼagha.
And thy gates shall stand open continually: (they shall not be shut day nor night, ) that the wealth of the nations may be brought unto thee, and that their kings may be led [to thee].
12 Mba ọbụla jụrụ ijere gị ozi ga-ala nʼiyi; a ga-ekpochapụ ha.
For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; and those nations shall be utterly wasted.

The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the cypress, pine, and box-tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

And the children of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 “Ọ bụ ezie na ọ dị mgbe ị bụ onye a kpọrọ asị, onye a na-emegbu, onye mmadụ niile na-eweda nʼala, ma ugbu a, ị ga-ama mma ruo ebighị ebi; ị ga-abụ ihe na-ewetara ọgbọ niile nke ụwa ọṅụ, nʼihi na otu a ka m ga-eme gị.
Instead of thy being forsaken and hated, so that no one went through [thee], I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy from generation to generation.
16 Ị ga-aṅụ mmiri ara nke mba dị iche iche, ọ bụkwa ara ndị eze ka a ga-eji zuo gị. Mgbe ahụ, ị ga-amata nʼezie na mụ onwe m, bụ Onyenwe anyị bụ Onye nzọpụta gị na Onye mgbapụta gị, Onye dị ike nke Jekọb.
And thou shalt suck the milk of the nations, and shalt suck the breast of kings; and thou shalt know that I, Jehovah, [am] thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Nʼọnọdụ bronz, aga m eweta ọlaedo, nʼọnọdụ igwe aga m eweta ọlaọcha. Nʼọnọdụ osisi, ọ ga-abụ ọla, nʼọnọdụ nkume, ọ ga-abụ igwe. M ga-eme ka udo bụrụ ndị nlekọta gị ezi omume ga-abụ onye na-achị gị.
For bronze I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood bronze, and for stones iron; and I will make thine officers peace, and thy rulers righteousness.
18 Ihe ike agaghị adịkwa nʼala gị ọzọ. Agha niile ga-akwụsị, mbibi na ịla nʼiyi agaghị adịkwa. Mgbidi gị ga-aghọ Nzọpụta, ị ga-akpọkwa ọnụ ụzọ ama gị niile Otuto.
Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
19 Anyanwụ agaghị abụkwara gị ìhè nʼehihie ọzọ, maọbụ maramara nke ọnwa amụkwasị gị ihe, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị ga-abụrụ gị ìhè ruo ebighị ebi, Chineke gị ga-abụkwa ebube gị.
The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Anwụ gị agaghị ada ada, ọnwa gị agaghị akwụsịkwa ịcha; nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ga-abụrụ gị ìhè ụbọchị gị niile, iru ụjụ gị niile ga-agabigakwa.
Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 Mgbe ahụ, ndị gị niile ga-abụ ndị ezi omume, ha ga-enwetakwa ala ahụ ruo ebighị ebi. Ha bụ ome nke m kụrụ, bụ ọrụ aka m, ime ka ịma mma m pụta ìhè.
Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall possess the land for ever — the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 Ezinaụlọ dị nta ga-aba ụba ghọọ obodo, mba nta ga-aghọ obodo buru ibu. Mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị, ga-eme ka ha niile mezuo ọsịịsọ nʼoge ya.”
The little one shall become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation: I, Jehovah, will hasten it in its time.
