Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look to the rock from which ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which ye are dug.
2 Legidenụ Ebraham bụ nna unu na Sera anya, bụ ndị mụrụ unu. Ebraham nọ naanị ya mgbe m kpọrọ ya, ma a gọziri m ya, mee ka ọ ghọọ oke mba.
Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah that bore you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4 Ndị m, geenụ m ntị; ṅaa ntị, gị Izrel mba nkem, nʼihi na iwu m ga-esi nʼọnụ m pụọ; ikpe ikpe ziri ezi m ga-aghọkwara mba niile ìhè.
Hearken to me, my people; and give ear to me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
5 Ezi omume m na-abịaru unu nso ọsịịsọ, nzọpụta m na-adịkwa nso. Aga m achịkwa mba niile. Mba dị anya ga na-ele anya ọbịbịa m; ha ga na-ele anya nzọpụta nke m ga-azọpụta ha.
My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on my arm shall they trust.
6 Welienụ anya unu lee anya nʼelu, leekwanụ anya nʼụwa, nʼihi na mbara eluigwe ga-agba barịị fuo, dịka anwụrụ ọkụ; ụwa ga-aka nka dịka akwa, ndị bi nʼime ya ga-anwụkwa dịka ijiji. Ma nzọpụta m ga-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi, ezi omume m ga-adịgidekwa, ọ gaghị agwụ agwụ.
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall become old like a garment, and its inhabitants shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
7 Geenụ m ntị, unu niile ndị maara ihe ọma, unu ndị na-anabata iwu m nʼobi unu. Unu atụla egwu ihe ndị mmadụ ga-asị unu, unu atụkwala egwu nkwutọ ha ga-ekwutọ unu.
Hearken to me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
For the moth shall eat them like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
9 Teta, teta, yikwasị onwe gị ike, gị aka Onyenwe anyị, bilie, dịka ụbọchị ndị gara aga, dịka ọgbọ nke mgbe ochie. Ọ bụghị gị gbubisịrị Rehab ma dụgbukwaa anụ ọjọọ ahụ?
Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not that which hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
10 Ọ bụghị gị mere ka osimiri taa? Mmiri ahụ dị omimi. Ọ bụghị gị mekwara ka okporoụzọ dịrị nʼetiti ya, ebe ndị ahụ ị gbapụtara si gafee?
Art thou not that which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
11 Ndị ahụ Onyenwe anyị gbapụtara ga-alọtakwa. Ha ga-eji abụ bata na Zayọn; ọṅụ na-adịgide ga-adịkwasị nʼisi ha, oke ọṅụ na obi ụtọ ga-ejupụta nʼobi ha, iru ụjụ na ịsụ ude ga-efelaga.
Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
12 “Mụ, ọ bụladị mụ onwe m, bụ Onye ahụ na-akasị unu obi. Onye ka ị bụ, na ị na-atụ egwu nwa mmadụ nke ga-anwụ anwụ, ị na-atụ egwu nwa mmadụ nke bụ naanị ahịhịa,
I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;
13 na ị na-echefu Onyenwe anyị bụ onye kere unu, onye na-esetipụ eluigwe, onye tọkwara ntọala niile nke ụwa; na-ebi ndụ ịtụ oke egwu ụbọchị niile nʼihi oke iwe nke onye mkpagbu ahụ, onye nke kpebiri ibibi unu? Ma olee ebe oke iwe nke onye mkpagbu ahụ dị?
And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
14 Nʼoge na-adịghị anya, a ga-agbapụta ndị mkpọrọ egwu mere ka ha rudata ala. Ha agaghị anwụ nʼime olulu, nri agakwaghị akọ ha.
The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
15 Nʼihi na abụ m Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu, onye na-akpali oke osimiri mee ka ebili mmiri ya bigbọọ, Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile bụ aha ya.
But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.
16 Etinyela m okwu m nʼọnụ gị, chebekwa gị nʼọbụaka m. Ọ bụ m tinyere eluigwe nʼọnọdụ ya, dokwaa ntọala nke ụwa. Ọ bụkwa m na-asị Zayọn, ‘Ndị m ka unu bụ.’”
And I have put my words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, Thou art my people.
17 Teta, teta, bilie gị Jerusalem, gị onye ṅụrụ site nʼaka Onyenwe anyị, bụ iko nke oke iwe ya. Gị onye ṅụrụ ihe niile dị nʼime iko ahụ nke na-eme ka ụmụ mmadụ dagbugharịa.
Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drank the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.
18 Ọ dịghị otu nwa ya nke fọdụrụ, nke ga-agwa ya ihe ọ ga-eme, maọbụ nke ga-edu ya nʼụzọ o kwesiri ịgbaso.
There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
19 Ihe abụọ ndị a adakwasịla gị. Onye ga-akasị gị obi? Mbibi na ịla nʼiyi, ụnwụ na mma agha, onye ga-akasị gị obi?
These two things have come to thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
20 Nʼihi na ụmụ gị ndị ikom adaala mba. Ha na-atọgbọkwa nʼakụkụ okporoụzọ niile, dịka mgbada ọnya mara. Ha bụ ndị jupụtara nʼọnụma Onyenwe anyị na ịba mba nke Chineke gị.
Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.
21 Ya mere, nụrụ nke a, unu ndị a na-akpagbu, ndị ihe na-egbu ma ọ bụghị mmanya.
Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunk, but not with wine:
22 Lee ihe Onyenwe anyị kwuru, bụ Chineke unu, onye ihe banyere ndị ya na-emetụ nʼobi. “Lee, aga m esite nʼaka gị wezuga iko ahụ mere ka ị dagbugharịa, ị gaghị aṅụkwa site nʼiko ọnụma ahụ ọzọ.
Thus saith thy Lord Jehovah, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thy hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:
23 Ma m ga-etinye ya nʼaka ndị ahụ na-akpagbu gị, bụ ndị sịrị gị, ‘makpuru nʼala ka anyị gaa ije nʼelu ahụ gị.’ I mere azụ gị ka ọ dị ka ala, dịka okporoụzọ ebe ndị mmadụ si aga ije.”
But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; who have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
