1 Mgbe eze Hezekaya nụrụ nke a, ọ dọwara uwe ya, yikwasị akwa mkpe, baa nʼime ụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị.
And it was don, whanne kyng Ezechie hadde herd, he to-rente hise clothis, and he was wlappid in a sak, and entride in to the hous of the Lord.
2 O zipụrụ Eliakịm, onye nlekọta ụlọeze, Shebna ode akwụkwọ na ndị okenye nʼetiti ndị nchụaja, bụ ndị yikwa akwa mkpe, ka ha jekwuru Aịzaya onye amụma, nwa Emọz.
And he sente Eliachym, that was on the hous, and Sobna, the scryuen, and the eldre men of prestis, hilid with sackis, to Isaie, the prophete, the sone of Amos.
3 Ha sịrị ya, “Otu a ka Hezekaya sịrị, Ụbọchị taa bụ ụbọchị ahụhụ, ịba mba na nke ihe ihere. Ụbọchị jọgburu onwe ya dịka ụbọchị nwanyị nọ nʼoke ihe mgbu nke ịmụ nwa ma ike adịkwaghị o ji amụpụta nwa ya.
And thei seiden to hym, Ezechie seith these thingis, A dai of tribulacioun, and of angwisch, and of chastisyng, and of blasfemye is this dai; for children camen `til to childberyng, and vertu of childberyng is not.
4 Ma eleghị anya Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị, ga-anụ okwu ahụ nke Rabashaka, bụ ọchịagha, onye nna ya ukwu bụ eze Asịrịa, zitere ịkwa Chineke dị ndụ emo. Eleghị anya Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị ga-abara ya mba nʼihi okwu ndị a niile o kwuru, bụ ndị ọ nụrụ. Ya mere, kpeere anyị ekpere, anyị bụ ndị fọdụrụ ndụ.”
Therfor reise thou preier for the relifs that ben foundun, if in ony maner thi Lord God here the wordis of Rapsaces, whom the king of Assiriens, his lord, sente, for to blasfeme lyuynge God, and to dispise bi the wordis, whiche thi Lord God herde.
5 Mgbe ndị ọrụ eze Hezekaya bịakwutere Aịzaya,
And the seruauntis of kyng Esechie camen to Isaie;
6 ọ sịrị ha, “Otu a ka unu ga-asị nna unu ukwu, ‘Ihe a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Atụla egwu nʼihi okwu niile nke ị nụrụ, bụ nke ndị na-ejere eze Asịrịa ozi ji kwuluo m.
and Isaie seide to hem, Ye schulen seie these thingis to youre lord, The Lord seith these thingis, Drede thou not of the face of wordis whiche thou herdist, bi whiche the children of the kyng of Assiriens blasfemyden me.
7 Gee ntị, mgbe ọ nụrụ akụkọ dị aṅaa, aga m eme ka ọ chọọ ịlaghachi nʼobodo nke aka ya. Nʼebe ahụ ka m ga-emekwa ka e jiri mma agha gbuo ya.’”
Lo! Y schal yyue to hym a spirit, and he schal here a messanger; and he schal turne ayen to his londe, and Y schal make hym to falle doun bi swerd in his lond.
8 Mgbe ọchịagha ahụ nụrụ na eze Asịrịa e sitela nʼobodo Lakish pụa, ọ laghachiri hụ na eze Asịrịa na-ebuso obodo Libna agha.
Forsothe Rapsaces turnede ayen, and foond the kyng of Assiriens fiytynge ayens Lobna; for he hadde herd, that the kyng was gon fro Lachis.
9 Nʼoge ahụ, Senakerib natara ozi na Tiahaka, eze Kush, na-apụta ịbịa ibuso ya agha. Mgbe ọ nụrụ nke a, o zipụrụ ndị ozi ka ha ga zie Hezekaya ozi, sị,
And the kyng herde messangeris seiynge of Theracha, kyng of Ethiopiens, He is gon out to fiyte ayens thee. And whanne he hadde herd this thing, he sente messangeris to Ezechie, and seide, Ye schulen seie,
10 “Gwanụ Hezekaya, eze Juda: Ekwela ka Chineke onye ị na-atụkwasị obi duhie gị, mgbe ọ na-asị, ‘Agaghị enyefe Jerusalem nʼaka eze Asịrịa.’
spekynge these thingis to Ezechye, kyng of Juda, Thi God disseyue not thee, in whom thou tristist, and seist, Jerusalem schal not be youun in to the hond of the kyng of Assiriens.
11 Nʼezie a, ị nụla ihe ndị eze Asịrịa mere obodo niile ha busoro agha, otu ha si bibie ha kpamkpam. Ma a ga-anapụtakwa gị onwe gị?
Lo! thou herdist alle thingis whiche the kynges of Assiriens diden to alle londis whiche thei distrieden; and maist thou be delyuered?
12 Chi niile nke mba niile, ndị ahụ nna nna m ha lara nʼiyi, ha napụtara ha, bụ chi ndị Gozan, Haran, Rezef na nke ndị Eden ndị nọ na Tel Asa?
Whethir the goddis of folkis delyuereden hem, whiche my fadris distrieden; Gosan, and Aran, and Reseph, and the sones of Eden, that weren in Thalasar?
13 Olee ebe eze ndị Hamat maọbụ eze ndị Apad nọ? Olee ebe eze obodo Lair, Sefavaim, Hena na Iva nọkwa?”
Where is the kyng of Emath, and the kyng of Arphath, and the kyng of the citee of Sepharuaym, and of Ana, and of Aua?
14 Mgbe Hezekaya natara akwụkwọ ozi a site nʼaka ndị ozi ahụ, gụọ ya, o weere ya gaa nʼime ụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị, gbasaa ya nʼihu Onyenwe anyị.
And Ezechie took the bookis fro the hond of messangeris, and redde tho; and he stiede in to the hous of the Lord, and spredde abrood tho bifore the Lord;
15 Hezekaya kpere ekpere nye Onyenwe anyị, sị:
and preiede to the Lord,
16 “O, Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, Chineke nke Izrel, onye ocheeze ya dị nʼetiti ndị cherubim, naanị gị bụ Chineke na-achị alaeze niile nke ụwa. Ọ bụkwa naanị gị kere eluigwe na ụwa.
and seide, Lord of oostis, God of Israel, that sittist on cherubyn, thou art God aloone of alle the rewmes of erthe; thou madist heuene and erthe.
17 Tọọ ntị gị nʼala, o Onyenwe anyị ma nụrụ; meghee anya gị abụọ Onyenwe anyị, ka ịhụ; gee ntị nụkwa okwu niile ndị ahụ Senakerib zitere, nke o ji ekwulu Chineke dị ndụ.
Lord, bowe doun thin eere, and here; Lord, open thin iyen, and se; and here thou alle the wordis of Sennacherib, whiche he sente for to blasfeme lyuynge God.
18 “Nʼeziokwu, Onyenwe anyị, ndị eze Asịrịa alala ndị a niile na ala ha nʼiyi, mee ka ha tọgbọrọ nʼefu,
For verili, Lord, the kyngis of Assiriens maden londis dissert, and the cuntreis of tho, and yauen the goddis of tho to fier;
19 ha atụnyekwala chi ha niile nʼime ọkụ, repịakwa ha, nʼihi na ọ bụghị chi ka ha bụ, kama ha bụ naanị ihe a kpụrụ akpụ, nke mmadụ ji osisi na nkume pịa.
for thei weren not goddis, but the werkis of mennus hondis, trees and stoonys; and thei al to-braken tho goddis.
20 Ma ugbu a, Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị, biko, zọpụta anyị site nʼaka ya, ka alaeze niile nke ụwa mata na naanị gị Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke, na ọ dịkwaghị chi ọzọ ma ọ bụghị gị.”
And now, oure Lord God, saue thou vs fro the hond of hym; and alle rewmes of erthe knowe, that thou art Lord God aloone.
21 Mgbe ahụ, Aịzaya nwa Emọz, zigaara Hezekaya ozi, sị, “Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel, sịrị, Nʼihi ekpere gị niile nye m banyere Senakerib, eze Asịrịa,
And Isaie, the sone of Amos, sente to Ezechie, and seide, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, For whiche thingis thou preidist me of Sennacherib, the kyng of Assiriens,
22 nke a bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị kwuru megide ya. “Nwaagbọghọ na-amaghị nwoke, bụ ada Zayọn, na-elelị gị anya, jirikwa gị na-eme ihe ọchị, Nwaada Jerusalem na-efufekwa isi ya mgbe ị na-agbapụ ọsọ.
this is the word which the Lord spak on hym, Thou virgyn, the douyter of Sion, he dispiside thee, he scornede thee; thou virgyn, the douyter of Jerusalem, he moued his heed aftir thee.
23 Onye ka ị kparịrị ma kwulukwaa? Ọ bụ onye ka i sitere na nganga gị welie olu okwu gị na anya gị elu megide? Ọ bụ megide onye Nsọ nke Izrel?
Whom despisist thou, and whom blasfemedist thou? and on whom reisidist thou thi vois, and reisidist the hiynesse of thin iyen?
24 I sitere nʼaka ndị ozi gị kparịa Onyenwe anyị, kwuluo ya, ị sịkwara, ‘Eji m ọtụtụ ụgbọala m rigoruo ebe dị elu nke nʼelu ugwu niile, nʼebe kachasị elu nke ugwu Lebanọn. Egbudasịala m osisi sida ya niile toro ogologo, na osisi junipa ya niile kachasị mma. Ejeruola m na nsọtụ ya kachasị nʼịdị elu, bụ ebe kachasị maa mma nʼoke ọhịa ya niile.
To the hooli of Israel. Bi the hond of thi seruauntis thou dispisidist the Lord, and seidist, In the multitude of my cartis Y stiede on the hiynesses of hillis, on the yockis of Liban; and Y schal kitte doun the hiy thingis of cedris therof, and the chosun beechis therof; and Y schal entre in to the hiynesse of the cop therof, in to the forest of Carmele therof.
25 Egwuola m ọtụtụ olulu mmiri nʼala ndị mba ọzọ, ṅụkwa mmiri dị nʼebe ahụ. Ọ bụ ọbụ ụkwụ m ka m ji mee ka isi iyi niile dị nʼIjipt takpọọ.’
Y diggide, and drank watir; and Y made drie with the step of my foot all the strondis of feeldis.
26 “Ọ bụ na ị nụbeghị? Na mgbe ochie ka m kpebiri ya. Nʼụbọchị ndị ahụ gara aga ka nọ pịa ọpịpịa ya, ugbu a, emeela m ka ọ bịa na mmezu, na ị meela ka obodo nke mgbidi gbara gburugburu, ghọọ mkpokọta nkume.
Whether thou, Sennacherib, herdist not what thingis Y dide sum tyme? Fro elde daies Y fourmyde that thing, and now Y haue brouyt; and it is maad in to drawyng vp bi the roote of litle hillis fiytynge togidere, and of strong citees.
27 Ndị bi nʼime ha, ndị a napụrụ ike ha nwere, bụ ndị dara mba, ndị e tinyekwara nʼọnọdụ ihere. Ha dịka ahịhịa ndụ puru nʼala ubi, na ome na-epupụta epupụta, nakwa ahịhịa na-etopụta nʼelu ụlọ nke anwụ na-achakpọ tupu o tolite.
The dwelleris of tho citees trembliden togidere with hond maad schort, and ben aschamed; thei ben maad as hei of the feeld, and the gras of lesewe, and as erbe of roouys, that driede vp bifore that it wexide ripe.
28 “Ma amaara m ebe ị nọ ọnọdụ, marakwa ọpụpụ gị na mbata gị, marakwa oke iwe gị megide m.
Y knew thi dwellyng, and thi goyng out, and thin entryng, and thi woodnesse ayens me.
29 Nʼihi ọnụma dị gị nʼobi megide m, nʼihi na mkparị gị eruola m ntị, aga m etinye nko m nʼimi gị, werekwa mkpụmkpụ igwe m kpachie egbugbere ọnụ gị, mee ka ị laghachi site nʼụzọ ahụ nke i siri bịa.
Whanne thou were wood ayens me, thi pride stiede in to myn eeris; therfor Y schal sette a ryng in thi nosethirlis, and a bridil in thi lippis; and Y schal lede thee ayen in to the weie, bi which thou camest.
30 “Ma nke a ga-abụ ihe ịrịbama nye gị, Hezekaya. “Nʼafọ a, unu ga-eri ihe na-epu nʼonwe ya, nʼafọ nke abụọ unu ga-eri ihe si na nke ahụ pupụta. Ma nʼafọ nke atọ ghaanụ mkpụrụ ubi, weenụ ihe ubi, kụọ vaịnị nʼubi vaịnị, riekwanụ mkpụrụ ha.
Forsothe to thee, Ezechie, this schal be a signe; ete thou in this yeer tho thingis that growen bi her fre wille, and in the secunde yeer ete thou applis; but in the thridde yeer sowe ye, and repe ye, and plaunte ye vyneris, and ete ye the fruyt of tho.
31 Ọzọkwa, ndị fọdụrụ nʼalaeze Juda ga-agba mgbọrọgwụ nʼokpuru ala, mịkwaa mkpụrụ nʼelu.
And that that is sauyd of the hous of Juda, and that, that is left, schal sende roote bynethe, and schal make fruyt aboue;
32 Nʼihi na ọ bụ site na Jerusalem ka ndị fọdụrụ ga-esi pụta, otu ndị fọdụrụ ndụ ga-esitekwa nʼugwu Zayọn pụta. Ọ bụ site nʼịnụ ọkụ nʼobi nke Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ga-emezu nke a.
for whi relifs schulen go out of Jerusalem, and saluacioun fro the hil of Sion; the feruent loue of the Lord of oostis schal do this thing.
33 “Ya mere, nke a bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị kwuru banyere eze Asịrịa. “Ọ gaghị azọbata ụkwụ ya nʼime obodo a maọbụ gbaa ọ bụladị otu àkụ nʼebe a. Ọ gaghị eji ọta jegharịa nʼọnụ ụzọ ama ya, maọbụ wuo mgbidi nnọchibido megide ya.
Therfor the Lord seith these thingis of the kyng of Assiriens, He schal not entre in to this citee, and he schal not schete there an arowe; and a scheeld schal not ocupie it, and he schal not sende erthe in the cumpas therof.
34 Ụzọ o si bịa ka ọ ga-esi laghachi; ọ gaghị abanye nʼobodo a.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri ya.
In the weie in which he cam, he schal turne ayen bi it; and he schal not entre in to this citee, seith the Lord.
35 “Aga m echebe obodo a, zọpụtakwa ya nʼihi aha m, na nʼihi Devid, bụ ohu m.”
And Y schal defende this citee, that Y saue it, for me, and for Dauid, my seruaunt.
36 Mmụọ ozi Onyenwe anyị pụrụ gaa tigbuo otu puku narị na puku iri asatọ na ise nʼụlọ ikwu ndị Asịrịa. Mgbe ndị mmadụ tetara nʼisi ụtụtụ, lee, ozu ka ha jupụtara ebe niile.
Forsothe the aungel of the Lord yede out, and killide an hundride thousynde and fourscoor and fyue thousynde in the tentis of Assiriens; and thei risen eerli, and lo! alle men weren careyns of deed men.
37 Ya mere, Senakerib, eze Asịrịa, biliri ije, laghachi nʼala ya. Ọ laghachiri biri nʼobodo Ninive.
And Sennacherib yede out of Jude, and wente awei. And Sennacherib, the kyng of Assiriens, turnede ayen, and dwellide in Nynyue.
38 Otu ụbọchị, mgbe ọ nọ na-akpọ isiala nʼụlọ chi ya a na-akpọ Nisrọk, ụmụ ya ndị ikom aha ha bụ Adramelek na Shareza were mma agha gbuo ya. Ha gbapụrụ ọsọ gbaga nʼala Ararat. Isahadon, bụ nwa ya nwoke ghọrọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
And it was don, whanne he worschipide Mesrach, his god, in the temple, Aramalech and Sarasar, hise sones, killiden hym with swerd, and fledden in to the lond of Ararath; and Asaradon, his sone, regnyde for hym.
