1 Ahụhụ dịrị gị, onye mbibi, onye bibiri ihe niile dị gị gburugburu, ma ọ dịbeghị mbibi rutere gị aka. Ahụhụ dịrị gị, onye nrafu, onye na-enwebeghị ndị rafuru gị. Mgbe ị kwụsịrị ibibi ihe ka a ga-ebibi gị, mgbe ị kwụsịkwara nrafu ka a ga-arafu gị.
Alas! thou plunderer when, thou, hadst not been plundered, And thou traitor when they had not betrayed thee: When thou hast ceased plundering, thou shalt be plundered, When thou hast left off betraying, they shall betray thee.
2 Biko, Onyenwe anyị, nwee obi ebere nʼebe anyị nọ, nʼihi na ọ bụ gị ka anyị na-ele anya. Bụụrụ anyị ike nʼụtụtụ ụbọchị niile, bụrụkwara anyị onye nzọpụta mgbe niile anyị nọ na mkpa.
O Yahweh! shew us favour, —For thee, have we waited, —Be thou their arm every morning, Yea our salvation in the time of distress.
3 Ndị iro na-agba ọsọ mgbe ha nụrụ olu gị. Mgbe ị guzoro ọtọ, mba niile na-agbalaga.
At the noise of a tumult, the peoples retreated, —When thou didst lift thyself up, nations were scattered.
4 Dịka igurube si atachapụ ihe dị nʼubi, otu a ka a ga-esi kwakọrọ ihe niile unu nwere nʼagha, unu mba dị iche iche.
Then shall your spoil be gathered as the gathering of the caterpillar, —As the swift running of locusts, is he about to run upon them.
5 Onyenwe anyị dị elu, nʼihi na o bi nʼebe dị elu. Ọ ga-eji ikpe ya ziri ezi, na ezi omume mejupụta Zayọn.
Exalted is Yahweh, for he inhabiteth a height, —He hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6 Ọ ga-abụ ntọala guzosiri ike nke oge unu niile, ụlọakụ dị ukwu nke nzọpụta, na amamihe na ihe ọmụma; egwu Onyenwe anyị bụ igodo nke akụ a.
So shall a wealth of deliverances, wisdom and knowledge, become the stability of thy times, —the reverence of Yahweh, the same is his treasure.
7 Lee ndị ha dị ike ka ha na-eti mkpu akwa nʼokporoụzọ niile; ndị na-anọchite anya ha, ndị bịara ikwu otu udo ga-esi dịrị na-akwa akwa.
Lo! their heroes, have cried out openly, —the messengers of peace, in bitterness, continue weeping [they say]:
8 Ọ dịkwaghị onye a na-ahụ anya nʼokporoụzọ ọbụla. E meela ka ọgbụgba ndụ niile ghara ịdịkwa ire. A na-elelị ndị e sitere nʼakaebe ha mee ka ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ guzosie ike. Ọ dịkwaghị onye a na-asọpụrụ.
The highways are deserted, The passer-by on the path, hath ceased, —He hath broken covenant, He hath despised cities, He hath made no account of men.
9 Ala ahụ niile na-eru ụjụ. Ọ tọgbọkwara nʼefu. Oke ọhịa Lebanọn akpọnwụọla bụrụ ihe ihere. Sharọn aghọkwaala ọzara; osisi dị na Bashan na nʼelu ugwu Kamel na-agbụchakwa akwụkwọ ha.
The land mourneth, languisheth, Lebanon, displayeth shame, is withered, —Sharon, hath become, as the waste plain, And Bashan and Carmel are shaking off their leaves.
10 Ma Onyenwe anyị na-asị, “Ugbu a, m ga-ebili.” “Ugbu a, ka a ga-eme ka m dị elu; ugbu a, ka a ga-ebuli m elu.
Now, will I arise, Saith Yahweh, Now, will I lift myself up, Now, will I be exalted!
11 Unu na-atụ ime ahịhịa kpọrọ nkụ, unu na-amụpụta ahịhịa, nkuume unu na-ekupụta bụ ọkụ ga-erepịa unu.
Ye shall conceive chaff Ye shall bring forth stubble, —Your own breath, like fire, shall devour you.
12 Ndị gị ga-ere ọkụ, dịka osisi ogwu e gbuturu egbutu tụnye nʼọkụ; ha ga-ere ọkụ dịka avụvụ nkwụ.”
So shall peoples, become, as the burnings of lime, —As thorns lopped off, with fire, shall they be burned.
13 Geenụ ntị nụrụ ihe m mere, unu mba niile dị nʼebe dị anya! Unu ndị nọ nso, kwerenụ nʼezie na m siri ike!
Hear—ye that are far off. what I have done, And know—ye that are near my might:
14 Ndị mmehie na ndị ajọ omume nọ na Zayọn na-ama jijiji nʼegwu, ha na-akwa akwa na-asị, “Onye nʼime anyị pụrụ ibi nʼebe a, nʼetiti onye a bụ ọkụ na-erepịa erepịa, ọkụ nke na-ere ruo mgbe ebighị ebi?”
Terror-stricken in Zion, —are sinners, Shuddering hath seized the impious, —Who among us can sojourn with a fire that devoureth? Who among us can sojourn with burnings age-abiding?
15 Ndị na-ejegharị nʼezi omume na-ekwu ihe ziri ezi, ndị na-ajụ uru sitere nʼụzọ nʼezighị ezi, ndị na-ewezuga aka ha site na ịnata ngarị dị iche iche, ndị na-emechi ntị megide izu ịkwafu ọbara, na-amụchi anya ha abụọ ka ha ghara ịtụgharị uche nʼihe ọjọọ.
He that walketh righteously, And speaketh uprightly, —He that refuseth the gain of exactions That shaketh his hands free from holding a bribe, That stoppeth his ear from hearkening to deeds of blood, And shutteth his eyes from giving countenance to wrong,
16 Ha bụ ndị ahụ ga-ebi nʼebe dị elu, ndị ebe mgbaba ha ga-abụ ebe e wusiri ike nke ugwu. A ga-enye ha nri, mmiri a gaghị akọkwa ha.
He, the heights, shall inhabit, A stronghold of crags, shall be his refuge, —His bread, hath been delivered, His waters, have been made sure,
17 Anya unu ga-ahụ eze nʼebube ya; unu ga-ahụkwa alaeze ya nke nsọtụ oke ya dị nʼebe dị anya.
Of a king, in his beauty, shall thine eyes have vision: They shall see a land that stretcheth afar.
18 Nʼime echiche obi unu, unu ga na-atule ihe oke egwu nke oge ndị ahụ gara aga. “Olee ebe onyeisi ọchịchị ahụ nọ ugbu a? Ebee ka onye na-anakọta ụtụ ahụ nọ? Ebeekwa ka onyeisi ahụ nke ụlọ elu nche niile dị nʼaka ya nọ?”
Thy heart, may murmur in terror, —Where is the scribe? Where—the receiver? Where—he that maketh a list of the towers?
19 Nʼoge ahụ, unu agaghị ahụkwa ndị nganga ahụ ọzọ, bụ ndị ahụ na-asụ asụsụ nke unu na-amaghị, nke unu na-adịghị aghọtakwa.
The fierce people, shalt thou not see, —The people of too deep a lip to be understood, of too barbarous a tongue for thee to comprehend.
20 Lekwasịnụ Zayọn anya, obodo anyị na-anọ eme mmemme anyị niile; anya unu ga-ahụkwa Jerusalem, ụlọ obibi dị jụụ, ụlọ ikwu nke a na-apụghị ibupụ ebupụ; apụghịkwa iholite ǹtu jidere ya, maọbụ dọbie nke ọbụla nʼime ụdọ ji ya.
Look thou on Zion, the city of our appointed feast, —Thine own eyes, shall see Jerusalem—A home of comfort A tent which shall not be packed up—Whose pins shall not be pulled out, for ever, And none of, whose cords, shall be broken.
But, there shall Yahweh be our majestic one, A place of rivers—streams broad on both hands, Wherein shall go no galley with oars, Neither shall majestic ship traverse it;
22 Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị bụ onye ikpe anyị. Onyenwe anyị bụ onye na-enye anyị iwu. Onyenwe anyị bụ eze anyị, ọ bụ ya na-azọpụta anyị.
For, Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh, is our lawgiver, —Yahweh, is our king, He will save us!
23 A tọsaala ụdọ niile: Ha adịghị ejidesikwa ọkọlọtọ gị ike, a gbasaghịkwa akwa igbochi ifufe. Mgbe ahụ, a ga-ekesa ụba ihe a kwatara nʼagha ọ bụladị ndị ngwụrọ ga-ebute ihe nkwata nʼagha.
Loosed are thy ropes, —They cannot strengthen the socket of their mast They have not unfurled a sail Now, can be apportioned spoil, in abundance, The lame, have captured prey!
24 Ọ dịkwaghị onye bi na Zayọn ga-asị, “Ahụ esighị m ike,” nʼihi na a ga-agbaghara ndị bi nʼime ya mmehie ha niile.
Neither shall the inhabitant say. I am sick, —the people who dwell therein, have been forgiven iniquity.
